I will never stop recommending this vet. They absolutely care so much for animals and it really shows. Dr. Taylor and all of his staff show compassion for you and your pet and I can't imagine trusting anyone else with my pets. People who know me, know my pets are my family. They go everywhere with me and when one of them is sick it's extremely upsetting. My little Mischief had what was either a ruptured abscess or a puncture wound from our fence and I was luckily able to get a same day appointment and they treated him so well. Not only did Dr. Taylor take great care of my boy but his prices are so affordable. I was really nervous of having to dig into my savings to pay for Mischief's treatment but it was a lot cheaper than I was expecting. If you're looking for someone who will treat your pet with professionalism and compassion definitely go here. Can't wait till mischiefs cut is all healed up for our next family road trip.

I used to recommend this vet to people and now I can't advise against it enough. had an appt at 4 one day and was told i'd have to wait until 5:15 to be seen, so I rescheduled for earliest appointment on friday morning, thinking there would be less wait. here I am, 8:06 am with 7 clipboards in front of me. they're constantly overbooking themselves, even an 8am appt has 7-9 people in front of you and all they say is "we are a very busy vet". then learn how to schedule appointments!! very unsatisfactory and will be looking for a new vet.

This has been my go-to vet in Lubbock since I started going to college here and adopted two kitties. Normally they are really great and all of the staff is sweet and helpful- today when I went it was a little different.. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful, but the nurses who assisted with my cat in the checkup room were very standoffish and rude in demeanor. It was a younger girl with dark hair and a younger white male. Neither one of them said a single word to me, besides the male when he weighed my cat and told me i could take her out of the carrier and put her back in the carrier. He was very rough with my cat when holding her down on the table, especially when the doctor wasn't even in the room/there was no treatment occurring. There were also several times, when no one else was in the room, where he would take a hand off of the cat and aggressively blow the cat hair off of him.... just seemed weird for a vet staff member to do in front of a customer, or at all really. Tried to talk to him a little bit but didn't get anything in return. The main Doctor was very polite and seemed to be doing everything he could to treat my cat- no issues there.
I was in for an emergency visit due to my cat throwing up blood after eating some foreign objects, a totaled $200+ visit. Including a convenience fee that no one told me about before I brought my cat in.
I still paid it but nevertheless, If i'm paying over $200 anywhere, regardless of the service being provided, I expect a certain level of kindness and respect from the members/staff interacting with me. I think that's just common curtesy right next to good old southern hospitality. This should also apply no matter how much the customer is spending.
I work in customer service and am probably around the same age as those nurses so I know it does not take a lot to be kind to someone, and it's not just a generational thing.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dennise C.Richmond, TX1952017Jun 1, 2022
I've been coming here a couple times here and honestly, 10/10 on both prices and service. Brought three of my pets here to get boosters and got all three for $160. You won't find anywhere better!!

Great experience overrall! Staff is very helpful and informative. Reasonable prices as well. I've been helped by Emily in person and over the phone a few times and I've always been satisfied. Highly recommend.

My husband and I rescued our fur baby from LAS. We had taken her to a different vet because she was ill when we brought her home. We had a terrible experience. So we researched and did process of elimination with a list of vets. So we decided on 82nd St Veterinary Clinic, we had been here before with a previous dog we owned. We loved it. So now we're back to them! I highly recommend this clinic. The staff is always so sweet. They are reasonably priced and get you in and out quick! Some days are busy and if you can't wait, they're happy to reschedule. Our pup isn't a fan of the vet, but she's come around quite a bit. They always make her as comfy as possible.

All of the staff is super friendly and really cares about your animals! Dr Taylor has been the only person my cat seems to trust other than my boyfriend and I. I guess he just has that presence on animals. The other doctors are really good too. This vet is always really busy, but even then the wait time isn't long. I always try to set an appointment out of courtesy, but even as an emergency walk-in once, they still saw me and my kitty within 10 minutes. Above all that, they're affordable!
