It's a real nice setting and the food tastes great. Tom, our server, was very effective. he just mentioned that there's a new chef, Dominic. And I feel that the entrées are about the size of appetizers they seem somewhat small, considering the price. It's a great place to impress someone. The average bill for two would be about $150. We were told the menu was just changed. Parking can be a problem especially if you have a reservation and you're cutting it close. Allow time.

Hi Laura, I apologize for the misinformation. We recently updated the hours for the upcoming spring season, we ran Happy Hour on Saturdays during the winter months. It was an oversight that it was not updated online and our website will be updated asap to reflect our current Happy Hour program. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Tina's take: 11/10
I came here previously for dinner and it was absolutely to die for. The place was so spacious and clean. The staff was so friendly and our server was amazing. Our drinks were tasty as well and got the job done. I totally recommend this place and will be coming back!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Emily H.New York, NY5182234Sep 5, 2023
Lobster roll, and the sandwiches were good. Enjoyed the cantaloupe and prosciutto as well. Nice views of the water.
I asked for a side of butter for my lobster roll.. bc duh. Also a side of old bay bc it's a must w the fries.
Plus mayo for the friesHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Dec 13, 2023
I love everything about 26 West on the Navesink. The location with its beautiful views of the Navesink, its lovely light and airy decor, great service and delicious food checks all the boxes. Seriously, it's a regular spot for us and it never disappoints!

Had lunch there recently. Did not enjoy at all. Food wasn't good. I had chicken Caesar sandwich which was not good. Too much Caesar dressing. My friend had avocado toast that was more toast than avocado. I don't think they should be open for lunch. We were the only ones there for a while until another couple arrived Doesn't seem to be a popular spot. The service staff was very nice

Hi Karen,
We are very sorry that you did not enjoy your experience with us. We just recently reopened for lunch during the week and while we have been very busy on most days, there are still some slow shifts. We appreciate your feedback and are taking all comments into consideration for our new spring menu! - Vincent V.West Long Branch, NJ02012Feb 14, 2024Updated review
Back to 26 on the Naversink, Red Bank, NJ. Went for lunch and found out all of the days specials were available. I chose the pork chop for $32 and was it worth it. On a scale of one to ten it was a fourteen, fabulous. I'm posting picture of the dish and menu. Again server (TOM) the best and great views of the river.

Having a new chef has everything to do with it and what a great chef he is. Dominic from Catch, Red Bank, New Jersey is the new head chef and I tell you some of the best meals of my life he created. That's saying a lot since I'm eighty and the best cooks in my life came from Italy one hundred years ago. I had a variation of the beef Wellington which was delicious. It was made with filet and a flakey bed crust. The price and portion was fair considering it was a filet. My side was wasabi mashed potatoes which I think should have been included and not a la carte , they were delicious. Looking forward to many great creations. By the way service was excellent and views terrific.

May 31, 2019Previous reviewBeautiful space with great views, terrific happy hour with great food choices. Fast rack stocked with very good liquors not the usual cheap stuff. Chef creative and menu varied with some really excellent dishes. Staff the best, warm, friendly and always helpful.

We had dinner at your place February 12th. We all raved about each dish. Had the special seafood appetizer, delicious! I had the filet mignon, outstanding. Drinks were great too. We all enjoyed an espresso martini for dessert.
Our server was fantastic too!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Feb 23, 2023
26 on the Navesink is a beautiful spot overlooking the water on Front Street in Red Bank. Their food is overall mediocre and drinks are a bit overpriced. The Buffalo chicken wrap was ordinary, while the tuna nachos appetizer was mostly nachos and not enough tuna. The bartender did make an excellent martini, though. What was surprising was on a Saturday afternoon they were empty, while Robinson Ale House was packed. Interesting considering their prices are within the same range. Overall I might go back for the ambiance.
