    Since interest rates are dropping, we're looking to refinance our car loan. Anyone have recommendations for credit unions or banks in the peninsula? Looking for the best rate, but good service is nice too!

    I've had good luck with Patelco.  Got a very reasonable rate from them on a car loan about 1.5 years ago.  They've been great since.

    don't go to San Jose Credit Union, while a great bank to go (I bank there) to their loan rates were beaten by every other business I tried.

    Golden 1 Credit Union, but you have to be a state employee
