"This skating rink had the weirdest vibe. They were playing Christmas music... but not like Mariah. Old-timey & Christian stuff. It WAS December, but still. No pop music. No DJ/announcer at all. Occasionally someone would pipe up over the loud speaker asking people not to congregate on the floor & keep moving. It's a little tough to skate to "Mary Did You Know?" Seems like a mostly rollerblades kinda place, so the few pairs of rental skates we got were a little rough around the edges - needed fresh bearings. Pretty much everyone was in rollerblades. Lots of teens operating the place; not giving a particularly welcome feeling. Skate floor is even and wide; that was a plus! Probably wouldn't go again."
