I feel they have a good selection here. I don't buy meat from this place, because it has a weird texture. It's pretty weird. Service is good, I like the vibe of the place. I com ehere mostly for produce or vitamins and such.

I'm local and whole food my everyday stop, my issue was with the bar, i came the other day to watch lakers game at 7pm and bar was closed, I asked one of the bar stuff their hours operations so I don't waste time commuting and he literally mentioned it's whenever and they don't have set of hours of operation and advised to keep coming and check, also he was not polite very straight forward and not caring, very cold. I except way better service and customer care from Whole Foods Market. Have hours of operation for the bar, every bars do, very simple.

Dominique M. wrote a review for Co-opportunity Market - Santa Monica
So far so good I've been meaning to get this place a shot for quite a while now! I've heard nothing but good things for my friends in from locals.
The environment is very welcoming it is a very small market compared to main street markets like Ralph's, pavilions, Whole Foods and etc. one rumor I have heard which I did find to be true while touring the store this morning for the first time is that their prices appear to be MSRP I didn't see many deals or sales however they did have quite a few closeout tags in the cold drink section allowing me to try a natural energy drink that I have wanted to try but it's usually extremely overpriced at Whole Foods.
There is a very small deli with Takeaway sandwiches already premade and a small breakfast area have breakfast burritos and a small Buffay of eggs sausage and essential breakfast take away items.
I grabbed a few things was happy to find that they support black business like the feminine care products honey pot, and that they have an amazing array of natural skin care as well as hygiene products like deodorant and toothpaste etc. I'm not certain if their prices are in alignment with Whole Foods or even deemed more expensive for your average bottle of Castile liquid soap like Dr. Bronner's etc. but I did admire the bulk section and I plan to come back prior to the long run or walk at the beach for some protein snacks.
While I did walk around the store for 15 minutes only one gentleman working in the frozen aisle Greeted me and said good morning in addition to the cashier to which was very kind and welcoming. I did pass by several associates looking with bright eyes and was not asked if I needed help I was looking for something specific but I didn't want to bother as they all seemed very concentrated on whatever they were doing. There's no problem with that in fact if they were standing around chatting it on their phones not greeting me then I would've deemed that to be bad customer service.
I do plan to come back and give their deli a shot for lunch someday. If you're into fair trade, natural products enjoy a good bulk section where you can take just a little bit of whatever you may need this may be a great place for you. -

Everything about Yama sushi is fun, delicious and very affordable. We are addicted to Yama sushi and buy dinner there at least once a week.
Their staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They have an extraordinary sake selection. And fun gifts for the kids from Japan. -

Marie M. wrote a review for Pavilions
Normally I like to go to pavillions to buy groceries for lunch items, groceries and maybe a snack. Today however 9:45pm - 9:55pm while I got a mere 7 items to make my lunch with. I noticed ALL of the registers were closed! No announcement made or anything. I go to self checkout and this employee by the name of "Beatrice" decided to run up on my husband and I start screaming in my face and ear. Accusing us of using the scan gun to scan the items inside of our cart. I looked at her confused and showed her we have just these items we are being recorded on camera. She didnt even let us speak and started to yell even louder ordering us to take everything out and put in the bagging area. No please or no introducing yourself Idk who you are! Soo I got upset and she decided to harass us even further by telling us "I dont like it! I dont like it that you are scanning the items inside of the cart. Take it out! I dont like it! Mind you I am doing my best to compose myself because I dont take kindly to being yelled at and harassed by anyone especially when I WAS NOT AWARE that I have to do all of this at 9pm at night and Im trying to pay for all of my items and get out of there! She needs to get a serious reality check and a serious attitude adjustment immediately! Then to top it all she then made an underhanded comment us after we looked at her and asked her "why is that not a sign" or announcement made regarding this? And she told me well because people dont read! I truly do not want to see this employee again or have her assist us in the future. We were made to feel uncomfortable and didn't deserve to be accused of stealing in front of everyone. We didn't bag our items or anything. We literally just scanned our items! I need to speak to a store manager and file a report. This is beyond despicable and Im honestly shocked at the customer service we received. She could have easily checked our receipt before we left instead of acting like an asshole and sent us on our way.
P.S. I have the receipt as proof of payment. Read more -

I've been shopping at this Whole Foods for awhile now as a student, however this was one of the worst experiences I have had with any grocery store before in terms of service. While I was checking out with alcohol that requires a 21+ id, which I happily provided, he continued to make several micro aggressive comments that were increasingly specific to the way I looked for that felt racially fueled. management apologized for what happened which is the sole redeeming quality, if you're a poc, I would take your business elsewhere

Bill S. wrote a review for Vons
Once again, I am very disappointed with the service at this Vons. I have complained multiple times, and nothing changes. Today's cashier was Kelsie.
1) No greeting
2) No smile
3) chatting and talking to the bagger
4) an older lady in front on me couldn't figure out the credit card machine and he ignored her
5) no 'thank you.'
What is going on at this store?!
Once inside, there are SO many items that are out of stock. And the produce? terrible...moldy, not fresh....
The cashiers? Rude and unhelpful....they DON'T say hello, and they barely look at you. One 'kid' was checking my groceries out, and he never said 'hello' because he was too busy texting as he was scanning my items. And then the one cashier with the glasses and beard? Wow....he's another one with no customer service. Avoid this place. Read more
1- constant long lines and too few cashiers
2-… This is probably the worst Vons I've ever been to.
1- constant long lines and too few cashiers
2- terrible produce dept with some fruits and veggies with mold on it
3- inferior meat and seafood dept
4- a parking lot that constantly smells like sewage
5- homeless running rampant about the parking lot

Good store, prices are fair especially if you shop there seasonal and clearance items. Service was friendly and the checkout line wasn't too long. Plenty of easy parking.

This was the second year in the row I used this Smart & Final to supply our school event. Z in the bakery didn't blink once when I was ordering over 500 cupcakes and they were able to pre-order waters for me to supply to our students. Z had eveything ready to roll at the break of dawn on the big day, she packed everything perfectly and made my delivery to our classrooms so much easier! Thank you to all the awesome staff at Smart & Final for making our school event so easy and affordable!!

This review is for the soup and sandwich bar. My wife and I went to get a lunch, with our coupon for sandwiches and soups. It was 12:30 in the afternoon, a typical lunch rush hour and when we ordered our sandwiches, the lady said we couldn't order, because the bread was THAWING. So absurd! First, there is nothing fresh about frozen bread. Second, how can you not have bread, in a store, full of bread? Third, how can you NOT have bread for lunches? People only have a certain amount of time to get lunch at work and to waste it coming in there, to be told you can't get it, is crazy!

I love the way this Sprouts location really practices diversity! They even had a tran employee with a deep voice and beard in our women's room! So cool - it was such a great experience as a Sprouts female customer to enjoy! It's true that their managers ( specifically 2 women with very short buzz type hair cuts- forgot their names,) talk to customers like they are garbage, but mostly it seems they were doing that when these transphobic customers complained saying they didn't feel comfortable with a tran sharing their bathroom and chatting to them in there, so honestly those customers deserved whatever hostility they got! Anyway, as a middle aged female customer, I felt so honored to get to hear that deep voice ask me how I was doing in my stall! How cool is that?

PLS BEWARE! The most aggressive and miserable employee named HENRY who needs to be kept in the back in the stock room. He does not to be in contact with customers with his negative energy. This is a Ralph's I come to pretty often but unfortunately I will be taking my business to the Ralph's down a few blocks on Laurel canyon. So sad to see these employees treat customers like crap and still get paid. Unbelievable!

This place is usually jam packed with people and it's a smaller location than other Trader Joe's I have been too. For the most part items have been fully stocked or in the process of being stocked when I walk in. Parking is easy and free.

Whoever the manager should not end all the paid cashiers so early. Look at the long lines. If they're going to do it this way, they should provide us all training on how to run their scanners.

I love the meat section located on the left side and past the produce section. Good quality slices of meats available. Butcher was really nice to show me where the pork ribs were. It was my first time so I didn't know where different meats were. Butcher didn't have to do that but thank you! Pork ribs from cusk-coh and Whole Foods taste different! This one taste more fresh and doesn't smell as the one in Cusk-coh. Also, my stomach felt good unlike sometimes at cusk-coh. Of course steak feels good in the stomach too. I really enjoyed the steaks! Definitely will be back to try more slices of meats!

My son and I go to Ralph's at 6:51pm on a Tuesday. We are looking at a birthday cupcake in the bakery case. The deli associate says the bakery is closed. WHAT?!? People pick up cakes in the dinner hour for birthday parties. And you're closed? Stupidest thing ever! Gelsons it is I guess.

Things they sell are not fresh! And when problem arise, customer service will be rude & disrespectful like it happened to me. I was a regular shopper up until now, the store is located right where I live.
I purchased several cheeses and one of them was rotten. The store manager was rejecting everything i would say, and not wanting to listen to me. So did her manager when I asked for the store manager. He was just as unprofessional and not well business oriented. I broke it down to him that I spend over $500 a month at that store and he's going to ditch me over a $5 cheese?!?!? He was careless about everything. Wouldn't listen to what I was saying and spoke over me. They don't do good business, there's no trust in their products! -

I suffered ANTI SEMITISM by a cashier today
I know this in no way represents what TRADER JOES stands for or what the management ever condone.
I really hope you guys see this review and do something about it . Today at approximately at 2:30 PM at the Canoga Avenue cashiers check out register me and my four year old daughter faced blatant racism.
I informed the manager, and I truly hope he educates this person on the dangerous rhetoric she is contributing to.
We love TRADER JOES as a family and especially this location as our home location.
Really heartbroken by today's incident .
