Visiting from America. My mom and I were looking for a good pasta place in the area. This place has indoor seating and is very narrow. Good for 2 or 4 people. The pasta selection was pretty good - offering Italian and Japanese options. We did takeout for 2 people, ordering the mentaiko with salmon and spinach/squid pasta. It was made very quickly for us (7 min to be exact) and the dishes were overall inexpensive. Both dishes were just ok. We felt that they weren't very flavorful. I probably will not return unless I'm in a rush. But if I do, I would recommend eating in.

Although not exactly belonging to "Italian" restaurant, this gorgeous marriage between Italian and Japanese will bring you very satisfying and fun experience.
They do have orthodox Italian dish of cream based(carbonara) and tomato based pasta. But if you are here, skip those and go with Japanese style. Rather than sauce, it's flavored with soup. I think the broth is chicken based? I couldn't make of it quite. But I ordered "Spinach and bacon Japanese style pasta" so I'm sure it had essence of pork as well.
There are salmon roe, clam pasta. Those, too, are flavored with soup.
Try at it. You'll enjoy it.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - ディミリSuehiro, Ichikawa-shi, Japan3522122Feb 20, 2020
I love this place. It's like a Japanese twist of Italian pasta but oh so flavorful and good portions. You can even get the bigger size for free if you want. I had the Japanese style seafood pasta. It was topped with a variety of delicious seafood, and also came with a soup. I ordered sautéed garlic broccoli as appetizer which was served to me nice and hot. The shop itself has a very comfortable air for you to enjoy your pasta.

Spajiro is our go to pasta place!
The place has friendly but always in a rush servers, they have an english menu which is awesome for foreigners like me, the place is cozy, cost-wise its bag for the bank and the pasta is great!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Margaret M.Rockville, MD5369Apr 17, 2016
Japanese noodles prepared like Italian pasta! Great idea, interesting dishes, friendly if rushed servers. Had nice arancini to start, followed by the spicy salmon roe pasta. We misunderstood the description and thought the roe would be fused into the ribbons of noodle, like the squid ink in black pasta. Actually the roe is mixed into the dish with the cooked pasta, so the roe taste is strong, and with very little of the advertised spice. But all in all, it was a nice and original "Italian" noodle meal, with a twist you can probably only get in Japan. And you can customize your dish size, from small to extra large. Nice job, Supajiro!

Spajiro could easily be called Pastatropolis. Because if pasta is what you want, it's pasta that you're gonna get.
More importantly, it's good pasta.
Spajiro could also be called 31 flavors because that's about how many different kinds of spaghetti they serve. In addition to about 10 Japanese style pasta presentations, they have everything else too.
I chose the cardonara today and ate it with chopsticks too (a first for me) because I was unaware of the wrapped forks and spoons sitting on the little shelf right in front of me.
I recommend this place for a quick, inexpensive and tasty meal. It's not Michelin quality, but for under ¥1,000 it's excellent.
