Very nice restaurant. Service was fast and friendly. Food was delicious. Had steak and chicken hibachi. Cooked perfectly. Great vegetables and fried rice. Will definitely go back.

Great place for sushi! Extensive menu whether you sit on the sushi side or hibachi side. Get the Tropical Salad. Excellent flavor profile. The sushi is fresh, and many choices to choose from regarding rolls. Enjoyed eating here! The staff was very helpful! Portions are big here so come hungry for your favorite rolls. Can't make up your mind what to order! Get a Bento Box!

Me and my friends usually come to Zuki because it's one of our favorite places and usually has great service. However, tonight we were done eating and we were joking around with each other. Our waitress decided to pipe in and start accusing us of "bullying" one of our closest friends that we've literally been friends with forever. Then, she went on to say that we were bitches and that she could take our credit cards and track down our phone numbers to report to our parents. This is very disrespectful and needless to say, I will never eat here as long as she is still here.

Our food was good, but for three of us the bill was $65 before tip. We were told by the server because we were part of a large party there was a 20% fee added, but that half of that went to the sushi bar, and only half to the server. She was trying to make us feel like we had to pay more of a tip than 20%, even though the service wasn't great. I do not understand why the person preparing our sushi gets part of the tip... Either she was lying to us to get a better tip, or begging for more money because she doesn't get to keep her tip. Both circumstances are wrong. We will not be back.

Mokena location: Seven of us were seated for hibachi. I had to finally flag someone down to give a drink order. No one came to address us for at least ten minutes. Meanwhile the show going on next to us was making the whole room really smoky, we were having a hard time breathing so I again went to ask--they said the vent fan was broken for that table! So why use that grill?! We had to move all of us to the farthest table from that, then still waiting forever for service. Got our order wrong, and then cooked three steak meals that were ordered medium rare to COMPLETELY overdone. Rice also crunchy as it was also left on too long. Oh, and almost the whole show they usually do, he skipped altogether.

My family and I had the incredible displeasure of eating here last night. The server that we had was neglectful and incredibly rude.
She was gone from the main dinning room for the majority of evening that we were there and failed to regularly check in her tables. Our drinks sat empty for over 80% of the time we were there. I was so thirsty when we left I had to stop and buy a bottle of water.
I had to ask for everything, she did not offer anything or take ownership of her job responsibilities. We ordered sushi, when she brought the sushi she did not bring chopsticks or a dish for soysauce. When I asked for these things she did give us the chopsticks but then pointed to the table and rudely stated that the soy sauce was there. Even though that is not what I was asking for.
My child ordered the children's hibachi and specifically told the server that she wanted chicken and vegetables. It was not until the chef served vegetables to everyone at the table except for my child that we found out that the kids hibachi did not come with vegetables. This is something that the server should have explained to us during ordering since my child specifically told her she wanted vegetables.
The server also did not ask my child if they wanted soup or salad like she asked all of the adults at the table. I assumed that the kids meal did not come with soup or salad. Until they brought the soup and salad to the table and gave my child soup. I thought that was also rude of the server not to give my child a choice.
At the end of the meal I asked for two to go boxes but she only gave us one. The table the proceeded to sit there for another 15 minutes to pay for our meal even though we were all done eating.
When the server finally came back to have us pay I was so floored by the horrible service that I tipped her under 20% which is incredibly unlike me. We normally tip at least 25% if not higher. When the server saw me tip her a low % she glared at me and immediately walked off. She did not even offer me a receipt. When I called after her and requested my receipt you could tell she was annoyed by my request.
Additionally, a different server possibly a busboy brought out the soup and salad and rather than passing the soups and salads out to everyone he had everyone take their own soup or salad off the tray.
On an opposite note the chef was wonderful. He was engaging and kind hearted and the food was delicious.
I will also say we were disappointed with portion size of the food. You used to get both a soup and salad with the dinner hibachi, now you have to pick just one. There was a lot less food than what you use to get.

The food here never disappoints. And both locations are great. Service is alright, but the food makes up for that lack.

This is our go to Japanese spot. We love their beef teriyaki bento boxes. Sadly, you can no longer get soup and salad but must choose for the same price, which is a bummer. Service is fine. Only issue was serving 3 out of the 4 of us our food and said she will be back with the 4ths food and went and refilled drinks and went to another table before returning. You should never leave one person without food and wait on other tables. It gets cold.

1 st time there had reservations and still didn't get a cook for a hour they waited for table to fill up with walk ins first Then was told we could order what we want cuz we're in wrong part . It's was my daughter 16th day they didn't even say happy bday or nothing and they added a automatic 20 on a party of 4 and we didn't get refills bad place..

I swear, they only hire turtles. I was told my food would be ready in 20 minutes to pick up. I arrived right at the 20 minute mark just to be sitting there for an additional 40 minutes. Service is awful. If you want to actually be able to eat, don't come here.

We arrive here 30 minutes after calling, hoping to just run in and grab our food. We ended up sitting in the restaurant for an additional 45 minutes after they continuously told us 5 more minutes. We were already running late and we hoped it would be a quick stop. In conclusion, they are snails when it comes to doing their jobs.
