Fairly solid pizza here, I particularly love the fact that you can pop in for a quick slice, for this is one of the few pizza joints that also serves it by the slice, ZPizza makes a big effort to cater to vegetarians and those who crave the gluten free fare. If I were a vegan vampire or suffered from some horrible food allergy, I might give ZPizza a higher rating, but as I am a stone cold carnivore, I say bring on the peperoni with extra cheese.

ZPizza is an excellent value and they do deliver which makes for a nice change of pace from the standard pizza experience, For those Yelpers who are attempting to earn their Carrot Top badge, this place is labeled vegetarian, but it also serves that delicious peperoni and ham pie I mentioned earlier. So, if you want to get your Carrot Top badge without giving up the cow, this may be the place for you.

All in all, this pizza is tasty and filling.

Thanks for commenting Jeff. For the carnivores out there -;) try our limited time offer Bacon Bleu Pizza with spice-rubbed chicken and smoky bacon atop a creamy garlic sauce.

      Purchased a Yelp Deal

Customer service is always there saving grace! I typically have ZERO issues with Zpizza. I love their product & ingredients. They usually get a solid 4 stars from me (I just ding them on price) but two days ago I had a pizza that wasn't cooked all the way and what made me toss it out was not the barely cooked dough! (Read on)

Quality - 2 stars. This is usually a 5 star area. I love their ingredients and love that they are one of the very few pizza joints that use daiya in lieu of dairy cheese. I ordered a vegan pizza with whole wheat crust and out came a messy pizza, regular crust, uncooked dough and my fav *BAM* a pubic hair! (It was curly - and yea photoed it). There ingredients give them two stars. It's a tempting 1 star though but I usually dine at Zpizza and have had zero issues in the past

Quantity - 3 stars. 2 for $25 dollar deal. I don't like that they up charge for vegan cheese but hey I don't want them to get rid of it either. So good deal, good size. I'd give them a higher count had they been bigger pies but I'm pleased.

Price - 4 stars. It's tough having organic ingredients and competing with other pizza joints so I do like that they have specials and coupons on yelp.

Value - 1.5 stars - I threw out one pizza and ended up paying $17. I asked if the driver made the pizza cause if he did I was gonna take back that generous tip. It was not the drivers fault so no penalty there. I have no idea who messed up my order there and I NEVER want misfortunes for people and there job but this guy has gotta go work outside of Zpizza. He doesn't represent the Z well at all!!

Customer Service - 5 stars. I told the manager and he comped the pizza off, has a free pizza waiting for me when I give them another shot. I told him I would but no more delivery ever (well for now). The manager handled this very well - this is how you know the company is SF based *_^

Overall - Rating is 3.10. Typically a 4 star restaurant. I'll update within a year. The worse thing to do is destroy the name brand and they hired someone to do that. They need to weed out those employees. We have (unfortunately) 3 walmarts in our area! Go work there! Don't mess with food! That's all

Messy pizza, dough uncooked, daiya cheese not covering whole pie and what's this...A hair?!?
The hair!!! Egh!!! Gross! Tossed this in the trash.

Decent pizza place with nice staff. If you're a meat lover, this is not your place. They're specials are mostly veggie pizzas: olives, pesto, tomatoes, artichoke hearts. The crust was pretty good though. Price is comparable to pizza hut.

Half carnivore and half italian. Not a big fan of the italian side but the crust was pretty good!

Berkley vegan pizza delicious. But I would recommend to ask for it crispy if you want it crispy. Great service too, clean place, very nice overall.

Am I the only one that doesn't like Zpizza. The middle of my pizza was soggy for no reason and the pizza is bland. I'm not a fan. I'll take papa john's over z pizza any day.

So I'm driving down Rt. 1 when I notice a new pizza joint called Z Pizza. I'm always up for trying a new pie so I decide to check it out. My mistake!

The pizza was not only overpriced ($30 for a large) but it was like eating cardboard. There was barely any sauce, and even though I had requested "EXTRA" pepperoni I counted 11 slices on the whole pizza. It was dry, tasteless and overall not worth $30 or even $10.

Supposedly Z boasts all natural ingredients that are a healthier alternative to other pizza chains. In my opinion, go for the grease rather than stop into Z Pizza.

ZPizza makes me really excited and happy. As a vegan, it's discouraging to go to vegan places and have to get cheeseless pizza. While I enjoy that too, I want a REAL vegan pizza with the yummy vegan cheeses on top. ZPizza is like a magical creation from the future or something. I've had it three times already, and I love it more with each order I make.

I typically get a small vegan pizza with daiya, mushrooms, veggie burger crumbles, caramelized onions and jalapenos. Cue foodgasm. It tastes like a healthier-cheeseburger pizza, and then I cover it in crushed red pepper. Heaven.

It's pricy, but it's so worth it! It makes me happy to order from here knowing I'm getting something pretty amazing that doesn't hurt any animals. The only issue I can think of is that they get super busy, and sometimes delivery takes awhile. The crush has come a little burnt sometimes too, but it's still a pretty freaking delicious place.

Order yourself a ZPizza, and get it veganized! You won't regret it.

I've ordered from this place several times now and I am a fan. It is a good place. The wings are just delicious and the pizzas are great too. Really my kind of place. Healthy and varied menu. I tend to order the Tuscan pizza most frequently but I've liked others that I've tried. I don't think I've had a better mushroom pizza anywhere. I hope that they keep adding to their menu.

The people who complain that it's not like a greasy, junky pizza are sort of missing the point. That's not what it is supposed to be.

If you want the gooey artery-clogger greasefest kind of pizza then yeah, you shouldn't order here. It's ok, sometimes I get the mood for that too. Really though, I like this way better. Since I've tried it, I really haven't gone back to the other kind. This is pizza for grown-ups. :-)

If you want to try something a little different, with a more mature flavor profile and better ingredients than the usual suspects, then try this place out.

I decided to try this place out when they sent me a coupon for a free slice of pizza with purchase of a beverage. I normally never eat pizza because I can't have dairy, but since they advertised that they have non-dairy cheese options, I figured I could try a slice. However, when I went there, the guy working the counter said he would only give me a slice of pizza that was already made. None of the pizzas they had sitting in the warming bin were non-dairy, and he said they wouldn't make me any of their non-dairy options.

On top of that, the pizzas he said I could choose from all looked like they had been sitting around for a long time, since the cheese looked translucent and the edges looked dried out. I didn't even have to say anything about how nasty it all looked, because the guy was quick to say that they were going to make some fresh pizzas soon--but they were all going to be made with regular cheese. He didn't even apologize for the inconvenience or for not being willing or able to serve me food I could actually eat. Personally, I think he was just being cheap and lazy, since they do sell vegan pizza by the slice, and the coupon said nothing about having to choose from premade options. Needless to say, I won't ever be going back there again.
