I like this placeHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 30, 2024
It's located at the corner of the Wyndham Oceanside pier resort. Stopped by about 20 minutes before they closed for a to- go order. I noticed they were picking up the sidewalk chairs so I had just got in on time. My pizza order came out in about 10 minutes which was pretty prompt.
It's a thinly sliced pizza but had the perfect crunch. It was so good! I could've ate the whole pie myself. It went perfect with my Guava cart!
I would definitely order again when I'm in the area!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Jan 22, 2024
I went to ZIGZAG Pizza during my stay at a nearby resort. While the convenience of its location was a plus, my overall experience left much to be desired.
Trying to place an order over the phone proved to be a frustrating ordeal. After waiting on hold for a solid 10 minutes, no one picked up. We then opted to order directly at the store, hoping for a smoother process.
Upon arriving at the store, an unexpected and perplexing policy caught us off guard. When attempting to purchase some beers, we were informed that only one ID could be used to buy a maximum of two cans. Whether this is an Oceanside regulation or a store-specific policy, it was my first encounter with such a restriction, leaving me baffled and disappointed.
Despite these drawbacks, I personally liked the ZZ Top pizza. The combination of pepperoni, Italian sausage, meatballs, mozzarella, parmesan, mushrooms, and tomato sauce created a flavorful and satisfying experience. However, this positive aspect alone is not enough to compensate for the inconveniences and unexpected limitations we encountered during our visit.
In conclusion, ZIGZAG Pizza's location convenience and the ZZ Top pizza's taste were overshadowed by the frustrating phone order experience and the unusual beer purchasing policy.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 22, 2024
Im actually surprised of the low ratings. We enjoyed both the food and service. There were four of us. We got three pizzas and two bottles of pop $48. Good deal. Pizzas were fresh and good. They got one of the pizzas wrong on the toppings but it was till good. Good location. Easy parking, although it was 640p on a Sunday so free street parking. Super close to pier too. I'd be back.

this place was walking distance from the hotel i was staying at. it was also right by the pier but it was too cold to walk over there so we sufficed with just enjoying the view. i always go for a basic pepperoni pizza. i'm so glad i went a different route. the bbq chicken pizza was sooooo good! i rarely eat pineapple on my pizza but for some reason, the pineapple and bbq went so well together. as for the buffalo pizza, the white sauce wasn't really my favorite. it personally had a weird after taste. i would definitely go back and try different flavors!

Really, a 5% "surcharge in support of rising costs?" Come on now. A total turn off. Why not roll those costs into the cost of doing business and add to the prices on the menu? Much better than shoving it to the consumer by having an add line on the receipt for a 5% surcharge. Pizza good, surcharge and customer service- bad.

This pizza is perfectly average. I would go again, but only if there wasn't another option and I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here. You can tell they buy cheap ingredients. If you are hungry and want a quick bite to eat it is a good spot, but just don't expect quality ingredients. Everyone was very nice there and they have a bar type vibe with their large refrigerators with beer.

After a long day, on the soccer fields, a bunch of us decided to head over to the beach to relax and unwind. We hit up ZIGZAG for pizza and salad and took advantage of the "order online" feature on their website, which was super convenient...
We also purchased some chips and drinks and used the bathroom before hitting the beach... it worked out perfectly.
A few reasons why I am going with 3 star ava 4 or 5:
1- even though I ordered my salad to go, there was no mention of utensils, so I got all the way to the beach before realizing, I had no fork!
2- the sausage and mushroom pizza I ordered had barely any mushrooms at all on it!
3- while the pizza hit the spot, it was definitely nothing to write home about... it was a-okay and convenient for the beach but I wouldn't go out of my way to go here otherwise.
All of that said, if you are seeking pizza and salad to take to the beach (or on your way to/from), ZIGZAG may be just the place!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Missy M.Toledo, OH0359Feb 10, 2024
The pizza was good, not great. The tomato sauce really was just tomato sauce. The crust was good. Not much seating indoors, but that was ok as we sat by the window to people watch and that was fun. Weird that only one size is available.
I'd go again.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 373338775Dec 2, 2022
This is by far the the best as well as best priced food I had in Oceanside. The food is amazing and you can get a pizza for ~$10.
I got Maggie's Farm which is vegetarian with a lot of veggie toppings such as broccoli, mushroom, carrots, and zucchini. It was so good and not just the average pizza. It definitely tasted gourmet and full of flavor. The pizza is large enough to share.
There is some outdoor seating.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 1
