I've been going to Zen Thai for the last 10 years. Love their new location. It's super cute and spacious and with a bar .
Staff is always nice....food is a great. The only thing I'm not crazy about is their sushi....but I'm very picky.
Other than that I really enjoy coming here!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 42223131Feb 10, 2024Updated review
I had the drunken noodles and the dumplings. Super delish. Our service was wonderful too. They have moved into a new Space that looks great. Way to go! Friday night and they are doing lots of business!

Went to dinner at this place for the first time in their new location...it was ok. I thought it was a little pricey for what I ordered (crab rangoons and pad thai) and the pad Thai was pretty bland. Probably won't go back.

WHAT HAPPENED!?!?@@ Last time we Ordered, like always it was so good. this time... shrimp tempura GONE & replaced by precooked, overdone smaller shrimp with tails. Sticky Rice with Fresh Mango taste like it was made with pure CORN SYRUP. Mango not fresh. Portions of everything dramatically smaller. New ownership?? BEWARE!!

DOOR DASH ORDER
The food was so good! We ordered the papaya salad, drunken noodles with chicken spice level 1, and not pictured egg rolls, crab rangoon, chicken satay, and sticky rice with Thai pudding.
Everything was delicious! I love that you can control the spice level on the noodles. Food was not too saucy. The dishes were very good and decently priced! And the pick up service from the store was fast! Food was temperature perfect when it arrived.
The papaya salad was fresh and veg had good crunch. It wasn't drowning in dressing, thankfully. Just right!
The drunken noodles were so good! The portion was enough to split, and again just the right amount of sauce and spice. Lots of chicken, which I added, and a decent amount of veg (would love a bit more, but it is a noodle dish).
The apps of egg rolls (smaller sized and just right INO) and crab rangoon were crispy, yummy, and were enough to split between two people. They both came with a tasty sweet and sour sauce on the side.
The chicken satay was amazing! The chicken was juicy, had a nice char, and came with terrific sauces on the side - a peanut dipping sauce and another I didn't try. Portion was 4 skewers and went great with the papaya salad!
The sticky rice was interesting... I love sticky rice, and this was one was very tasty. But visually is was not appealing. The Thai Custard on top of the rice (I'm sorry to say) looked sorta like meow food. However, if you can get past the pasty blah look it is SO GOOD. Not too sweet, but enough to take care of the sweet tooth. Again, we split the potion with such a huge order. LOL
And with all the food split between two people, there are still lots of leftovers for at least another lunch for two of us tomorrow!
The food is definitely 4 star worthy, and I'll be ordering again!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1 - Oct 9, 2023
Great, hidden gem. They're fixin' to move down the road to the Aldi shopping center where El Agave used to be.
My wife and I were very happy with the food, service and the prices. I got my red curry number 5 hot and it was perfect.
I live in Georgia so I'll probably never get to come back but would come often if I lived in the area.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 22023Sep 16, 2023
I loved the Pad Thai and I frequently get the Tom Yum Noodles with the mango sticky rice for dessert and honestly you can't go wrong with any of those choices but the best time to go is around lunchtime that way you get free egg rolls and miso soup

Just discovered this place, and it will now be our go-to place for Thai food! It was the best Pad Thai I have had in St. Louis. I want to try their other dishes, but it will be difficult to get anything else!

Excellent food and great service. The Thai chicken fried rice withbasil was excellent. My friends ordered the spicy basil, rice and cashew rice chicken. They were very pleased atmosphere is casual yet contemporary and warm. Highly recommended.
