Yore Studio - Mission Gorge

This place was decent. Extremely small room but gets the job done. Really good for a trio or something but we are a 5 person band and it was very cramped.

Basic room in front to sweat in, small a/c given but with 5 guys crammed in a small space it works hard. Ample equipment provided to just show up and jam, bring guitars and cymbals. All and all great price $45 for 3 hours min. use what you want and split. Central located by the trolley off the 8 ez to get to.

For the price, this rehearsal space can't be beat. The one in Sports Arena only has room for one band, which is awesome - no competing bleed through. The Mission Gorge studio can sometimes be annoying since there are 2 rehearsal rooms, but Studio A is large enough to social distance with masks while playing. If you have an issue with the provided gear, Chris is usually very responsive with calls or text. No one is on-site to help you otherwise. The gear can be pretty beat up, (as is typical for shared gear) and it's sometimes a hassle to get everything set up correctly after the last user, but that is the only beef I have. I recommend telling the owner about any issues with gear so they can repair/fix. He's quick to accommodate.
It gets hot despite the portable AC units and fans, but it's not unbearable.
They have alcohol wipes and complimentary mic covers if you use their mics. Fridge for beers in the hallway of Mission Gorge, vending machine with sodas, snacks, and earplugs. Full-size fridge at the Sports Arena location. Parking can be challenging at Sports Arena.

My band has been using Yore Studio for a few months now and we couldn't be happier. The place is clean, no adjoining band rooms so be bleed through. This location is big enough for a a large band. We're a six-piece and have more than enough room. The studio I'd fully equipped. Great for me because all I need to bring are my sticks though I bring my cymbals and kick pedal.
The owner Chris is a great guy. Upstanding and accommodating and really gets the SD music scene. In all my years playing (over 20 locally) I've never experienced a studio and nice as this one. And the rates can't be beat.

First time rehearsing here. The owner, Chris is a really nice guy, professional, and looks out for the needs of the musician. The Sports Arena studio is small, yes, but comfortable and easy to find. The gear is more than adequate for our needs and that's a big plus! We had a really productive rehearsal and Yore Studio made it possible. I will definitely be utilizing their services often!
