MUST TRY IF YOU LOVE JAPANESE FOOD!!
I came here on a Sunday and it was perfect. Parking was available and there is also a parking lot in the back that made things very convenient. I also love how there are many shopping stores nearby so after we ate we were able to walk it off!
It was very spacious inside and I like how there are many booth tables, which made our dinner feel more private and intimate. They have a full bar right when you walk in. The sushi bar is in the wayyy back, which I think was a good idea because that means less people walking by.. which means more sanitary!
I started off with the Geisha Kiss. If you like fruity and sweet, this is for you! It wasn't too sweet and was very refreshing to go with the food.
Also got a delicious strawberry shortcake alcoholic beverage which was so smooth. There are many drinks that I do not like to order at restaurants because it is either too bitter or too strong. This was the RIGHT amount and it reminded me of the strawberry shortcake ice cream popsicles (if you know you know!). Would definitely order again.
The best thing about Sundays is that they have one dollar oysters promo!! My boyfriend loves oysters so we definitely got a whole dozen.
We then ordered the Salmon Tartare. It was one of my favorite appetizers. The wonton chips that it comes with is seasoned and the combination very refreshing and flavorful.
I also ordered the Hotate-Hokkaiyaki hot tapas. It was good and has a hint of spicy. It came with a lot of scallops and crab meat.
The sashimi deluxe was a must!! It is a nice way to get a little taste of each sashimi and it is definitely a good shareable dish. We added Toro to our platter.
I tried the new Paradise Maki and I must say I was pleasantly surprised! The flavors together were very complementary. There were hints of truffle but also not too powering. Each bite was very delicious. I also got the Patriots maki. I would definitely order this again.
The last thing I ordered was the Unaju, which is eel over rice. It was one of my favorites and I like how they put pickled condiments on the rice. It came with two eels and they were very big sized. I would definitely order this also!!
Overall, I am very impressed with the food here and I will definitely come back to try all the other stuff AND reorder the things I've tried! The menu offers a large variety which is amazing because there will always be something for everyone. The staff here was extremely nice, attentive, and welcoming. Would definitely recommend!Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - Apr 25, 2024Seated via Yelp Reservations
This is one of my favorite places to get sushi. I love the location, and vibe of the restaurant. The service is usually really good and the wait staff is great at giving suggestions. I am minusing a star because sometimes the quality of the dishes is inconsistent. The first time we went we ordered the ginger lobster and it was phenomenal! I ordered the next time and the portion was much smaller and not as good. Regardless I do recommend this location and if you are a sushi fan you wont be disappointed!

Caeey was nice and had a beautiful mural, of a woman on it. Server was so nice and attentive, and definitely helped us with recommending items. The tuna sampler was my favorite. It had so many unique combinations and the fish was so fresh. The paradise maki was hefty but delicious. The bruins maki was also good. I'm typically not a fan of cream cheese and my rolls, but I enjoyed this one a lot. The soup was tasty too. The real star was the chocolate cake and tempura fried ice cream. I'll definitely be back again.

I came back with a group of friends for my birthday weekend and it did not disappoint!
We were seated near the bar and was served by Truman. He was very attentive and helped us order. The drinks came out quickly with our water and the food came out together about 15 min after ordering.
The drinks were amazing. My friend got the Zombie and I got the seasonal watermelon drink, both of which were really good. There also are really good mocktail options for people who don't drink. My friend really liked the seasonal mellow melon.
I always get their spicy brussel sprouts because they never disappoint but this time we also got the yaki udon, curry mussels, maine uni spoons, and the temaki omakase. Everything was really fresh and tasted amazing.
We had a really good time as always! I love that everytime we stop by, the service and food are consistently on par. Definitely would recommend!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Mar 3, 2020Previous reviewI came here with two friends starving and Yoki didn't disappoint! We sat at the bar and despite it being packed on a Friday night, our food came out on time and everything was SOO good. The spicy brussel sprouts were my favorite but the Celtics maki was a close second. Not pictured here but we also got the yellowtail tempura roll which was good as well as a seaweed salad. The sushi/seaweed wasn't fishy and tasted really fresh. Nothing was bland or over seasoned, but next time we definitely have to get two orders of spicy brussel sprouts because they were the first to go!
We also got a couple of drinks - my friends recommend the Yoki Lady or the Red Sangria. We also got a round of green tea shots, which we HIGHLY recommend. Julia, Diana, and Alina helped us that night and they were so nice! 5/5 and would definitely come back! - Sep 19, 2023
Came here on a weeknight and it was surprisingly slow which is unfortunate because the food and service were both amazing! It's cute inside and they have cool murals on the walls. The sushi is a must- the paradise maki was incredible, and the spider roll also hit the spot. The beef teriyaki was so tender, and the lobster rangoons were a great starter. We obviously had to finish with fried ice cream and it did not disappoint. Highly recommend this spot!

The sashimi and sushi we got were all fresh. We got the sashimi deluxe, red sox roll, toro sashimi, yellowtail and scallion maki, and Alaska maki. All were tasty, fresh and reasonable size/portions. Nice presentation too! There are plenty of large tvs to watch sports games too!
The menu is all digital. Wish it was a little easier to use and see the whole menus vs having to click through each category.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Andreea P.Boston, MA0106Jan 25, 2024
Yoki, where culinary prowess meets a symphony of flavors! The ambiance is so chic, it's like dining in a tastefully decorated cloud. The food is a gastronomic masterpiece - each bite is like a high-five to your taste buds. Service? Swift, yet not intrusive, like a ninja waiter with impeccable timing. Yoki, where every dish is a mic drop of deliciousness. You'll leave wondering if you just had dinner or experienced a culinary love affair.

My coworkers and I stayed at a hotel close by to the restaurant. We were looking for a place to eat within walking distance when I came across Yoki. I am so glad we did. When you first walk in, it is a very simple vibe with a calm feel. There are some interesting murals on the walls and it's very clean.
We asked to be seated outside, as it was a nice day and the host was more than happy to oblige. Looking over the menu, there was a ton of wonderful dishes to choose from. We ordered the lobster rangoons and shumai. They were amazing! The flavors were well balanced and definitely felt special.
For dinner we ordered the curry chicken katsu, teriyaki salmon and the Unaju (freshwater eel in a sweetened soy sauce) to sample each. The coarse started with a very nice miso soup and salad. The main courses were phenomenal. The curry was very tasty and the chicken had a small spice to it and was crisp rather than being heavy in oil, as some katsus can be. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the teriyaki sauce was a perfect blend of sweet and savory. The eel was my personal favorite. It fell apart easily and wasn't rubbery as some places cook it. The sauce was slightly different from the teriyaki, but was amazing.
To close off the meal, we got the chocolate cake. It was wonderful. It wasn't very rich at all and we all enjoyed it.
Our server, Andy, was very nice and took amazing care of us. This was the case with any staff we had interactions with.
Overall, I LOVED this restaurant. I will make it a point to go back any time we travel back to Boston. It was worth the trip alone!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1
