Love this place! They have an awesome 3 class trial that allows you try different yoga classes. Great price package for multiple classes.
Very easy location to get to if you live in the area. The space is beautiful and inviting. So far my favorite teacher and class is Sean's EaDo Flow.
A must try for your practice and price.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Erica B.Houston, TX513147177Aug 15, 2015
Once upon a time, I had a membership here when it first opened last summer. I was shopping around for yoga studios and they had an unbeatable deal for under $100/ mo. I knew that prices were going to increase once they increased in size, so I jumped at the chance to be a member. I'm sure prices have increased now. I don't go anymore because it's too far for me and inconvenient for me now. I used to be able to just hop on I-10 and drive to yoga class but anyways, 2 of my friends who signed up with me still go here and obviously nothing about the atmosphere has changed. It's still a great yoga studio.
The staff members are extremely nice, with no judgements made here. One of the owners was always there and always recognized and said hi to us. It's next to a crossfit studio, so eye candy if you can catch them during break is always a plus ;) There are variations of yoga classes during different class hours, and I hear they have acro yoga now. I really miss coming here and hopefully I can come back soon. This place is definitely worth checking out, since you can pay for individual classes too if you'd like.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Alice Y.Houston, TX2783039Feb 7, 2015
Oh, I loved this place! It's attached to CrossFit EaDo - same website, owners, etc. I'm surprised that this Yoga Yelp page doesn't have more reviews because when I came in for my weekend session it was definitely packed! It's mostly street parking, but parking in East Downtown is much easier than many other parts of the city. You do want to make sure that you get there on time though, or you might be late as you're walking from your car.
The staff there is really relaxed. I signed up for their first 3 classes pass for free.99... so that was definitely worth it. You log in on an iPad, and then grab a mat from them if you don't have your own. I did the Flow class with Sasha. She has an interesting approach that focuses more on the meditation and breathing aspect of yoga than what you might find in a chain gym (like 24 Hour Fitness, etc.) class. I personally really enjoyed this, but one of my friends found it a little odd.
I especially liked how she constantly reminded us to focus on ourselves, and not on the other people in the class. She doesn't do the moves throughout the whole class in the front, which forces you to listen closely to what she is describing. That actually helped me greatly with performing the moves. Sasha also makes sure to detail different options depending on yoga skill level, so people of all different stages can follow along. The class is medium paced. It isn't too difficult, but if you're willing to motivate and challenge yourself it definitely goes fast enough to where you would not be bored.
At the end of the class, the staff even had a whole pitcher full of mimosas for us. It was funny because I initially thought it was just orange juice and made some lame joke about how now that I had burned some calories, I could consume some alcoholic calories and not feel bad. Turned out it actually was indeed mimosas. Delicious and refreshing.
The only tip I would have is for the business to please add more cubby space for shoes/personal belongings. As is, people were having to put some of their belongings just randomly on the floor because there wasn't near enough room for everyone's things.
I can't wait to go back and work on my drishti!Helpful 7Thanks 0Love this 6Oh no 0 - Susan R.Inner Sunset, San Francisco, CA5383478Jun 10, 2015
One of my favorite studios because it is so chill and spacious. The classes are small with lots of attention from the instructors. Probably some of the most affordable prices in town. Also, they have AcroYoga!!!

I came here for an introductory yoga class during lunch time. The staff at the front desk were very kind and inviting. I loved the space the class was held in. My instructor was very patient as she knew that I didn't have yoga experience. There was ample parking. When you walk in everyone has a smile on their face. For my yoga needs this would be the place.

Bought a month-long package on Groupon while I was in Houston for the summer. I really enjoyed the classes and I think the instruction is consistently great. I brought a guy friend to one class who had never done yoga and the instructor made him feel very welcome to yoga and class. My friend came back with me the next week! Love that this is a place where everyone doesn't look the same, definitely more diverse (in multiple senses of the word) than many other studios in Houston. I found myself looking forward to each class and meeting new instructors. Very laid back atmosphere that pushed me to be a better yogi.

Stopped by Yoga Eado on a nice Sunday morning for a free trial class. I am not a big Yoga person, but they were very welcoming and friendly. This Yoga studio definitely caters towards the Crossfit type of folks, as it's attached to Crossfit Eado, and doesn't put a lot of pressure on you to be a professional Yogi. The instructor Sasha was super cool and made me and my fiancee feel like we belonged. The class was challenging and fun, but not overloaded with extreme positions that would be super difficult for a beginner like myself. I also didn't feel like Sasha held back from having us try new poses or push the limits of what we could do. In the end we both felt accomplished and happy, like we had had a pleasant and challenging workout. The class was followed by some delicious free mimosas! If you are new to Yoga and want to try something different I would definitely recommend Yoga Eado.

Exactly what I'm looking for yoga but not Bikrim. Loved it. Affordable and convenient location. Only draw back is the parking. There is limited parking.

I popped in for my initial class for free last night. The vibe is real chill and eclectic, just how I like it. The yoga instructor was challenging, but offered insight on how to improve my practice. I really enjoyed her energy. I ultimately purchased a monthly membership for $89.

Overall, Yoga EaDo has been great. I just finished its eado21 challenge, a 21 day challenge of yoga (yoga 5x a week, journal entries, community meetings) and I have enjoyed the crash course into yoga. I highly encourage people to sign up for it when they offer it again.
Yoga EaDo's instructors have a diverse range of teaching styles which has been great for me as a relative beginner - seeing so many different approaches to yoga has helped me build a strong foundation and broad understanding of what yoga can be.
As of right this writing, they also have an offer where you can take 3 classes free to start out. You don't even have to have a mat as you can borrow one from them for free (if you check in on some social media site). After that, it's a very reasonable $69 for unlimited monthly visits.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
