Y'Lonn and her team are the best. The space is very nice, clean, and comfortable. I love how easy it is to make appointments using the Schedulicity app.
Their attention to detail is amazing. I absolutely LOVE Dawn - she gets it right every time! I appreciate how careful Dawn is with my natural lashes, and that she will make recommendations to assist in maintaining the health of my natural lashes. The lashes and products they use are top tier. If you are looking for a place to get your lashes done - I highly recommend Y'Lonn Lash Studio.

Where to start? How about my lashes are fabulous! I like lashes but I hate they way ALOT of lashes end up looking. I booked with Erioca. And I am not disappointed.

Here's the rundown:

Appt: When I called she was VERY polite and professional and was able to accommodate my schedule no problem. She was knowledgeable about what I was looking for (I didn't really know) she spent time on the phone going over the different options and prices.

Salon: So prepare to feel like you are waking into a spa. Very elegant, clean, modern and smelled sooo relaxing. Great ambiance! I felt extremely comfortable. The AC was on and they covered me in a warm blanket. I was like all I need is a foot message or something!

Lashes: I got the hybrid look. Natural + Volume. Omg they look so good. Perfectly installed. Really brings out my eyes.

Overall: wish I could give this place 10 stars. It's not just a service but it's an experience. Will scream recommendations to any and everyone!

This is by far the best place I have ever been to have my lashes done. Eroika is a true artist and achieved the exact look I was going for. I have been getting my lashes done for a while now and never quite found what I was looking for until I visited Y'lonn. I would highly recommend spending the extra money to have your lashes done there. There are a lot of places to get eyelash extensions in the city of Chicago but to have them done well is harder than you may think.
The studio is conveniently located in the South Loop and there is plenty of parking. It's super clean and inviting and comfortable! I have a hard time staying awake because the set up is so relaxing.

Overall: 10/10 would definitely recommend and return -- Great customer service, taking covid precautions very seriously, and amazing work!

Location and covid measures: very well kept, clean and simple space. It's easy to walk right by it on 16th, so look for the large decal on the window showing the Y'lonn Studio logo. It's kind of difficult to park sometimes (they're doing consturction on both Wabash and State), but there's normally some parking around the corner on Wabash or State. They require you to WEAR A MASK and ring the doorbell when you arrive for your appointment. They take your temperature on arrival, and they also wear masks while performing service and checkin/out.

Service: I got classic lash full set, Eroica is a goddess. Her work is amaaaaazing and she is so gentle with the lash application. She is so easy to talk to and is a true professional.

Product: the lashes looked amazing, very natural and I even let her decide what would look the best. The lashes were mink and good quality, the glue was non irritating (I've had other adhesives that make my eyes water/itch for weeks after). Lashes stayed on for ~6-7 weeks, even a few left hanging at week 8. I'm bad with getting regular fills so I haven't been back, but definitely will.

TLDR: Put on a mask to protect Eroica and protect yourself, but please go and support Y'lonn Lash Studio if you need lashes done!

Really great experience -- received a lash lift for the first time and Eroica was super knowledgeable and very kind. The process was absolutely painless! Also, they take COVID-19 procedures very seriously and the entire place is beautiful AND clean. I'm pretty sure I said clean like 50 times while I was in there. Thank you guys for making me feel a bit better on such a foul week for me.

I can not say enough positive things about this studio and my technician Dawn. She is extremely professional and does an amazing job. I consistently receive compliments on how beautiful and natural my lashes look. Scheduling is simple and my appointment time is always respected. This is the only place I would trust to do this service.

So I have been going to Eroica now for about a year. I went in to get some horrendous "feather dusters" removed (not her work). She took time to get them off and actually did NOT charge me....so I Booked another appt to have lashes added about a week later so my eyes could recover.
I started with Classic set (because I didn't want to be too "done up")and recently advanced to Hybrid. Classic was good, but I still felt like I needed to wear mascara for that true POP. I did have approved mascara, and then Eroica introduced me to the Hybrid set which I said I would try. I was only skeptical because I thought they would look too "heavy" on me. She didn't charge me for the upgrade just in case I didn't like them. Well I love, love love!!! Hello Lashes....where have you been all my life?????!!!!
I go every 2 weeks! I probably could extend to three with the Hybrids, but if I lose ONE lash, I obsess...so that's on me not Eroica's talent. They are really good in 2 weeks when I go back, but it's a routine now for me and a a scheduled nap! Lol

Eroica is ALWAYS on time. In 1 year, I've maybe waited 15 mins and I think I probably got there early. She has a soft touch....I'm usually able to just drift off to sleep.

My lashes are flawless...I get many compliments and people ask me are they mine or where I get them done. The only way I would go anywhere else is if the salon moved to a new address.

As they say...good lashes aren't cheap and cheap lashes aren't good!
They are fair, moderately priced.
(but you will get what you pay for if you try to go cheap), they manage their bookings well, you can book appts online....
I mean...what are the cons???? I've found none!

Y'lonn Salon is the best lash studio in Chicago, hands down! They provide a 5 star customer experience, from the beautiful boutique location, their close attention to detail, pleasant, passionate and prompt staff and my favorite phenomenal lash magician, Dawn Powell. If you are looking for the total experience, this is the place.

Had an exceptional experience at Y'lonn Lash Studio. It was my first time getting eyelash extensions so I didn't know what to expect, but Eroica's calm presence made me feel right at ease. So much so that I dozed off while she did my lashes. I got the classic style and they turned out absolutely perfect. I asked for a more "doll" look at her than cat eye, my eyes truly pop and I don't know how I'll ever go back to a face without lashes. Thanks Eroica for doing such a great job and delivering to exactly what I wanted!!

I had my first experience here for a lash lift and I am obsessed! Super cute and relaxing space very professional. If you are debating do it! Definitely recommend.
