Luckily I'm married to a Yelp Elite and get to tag along for events like these =) I always make fun of her for taking pictures of everything she eats and refusing to leave until she's checked-in on her Yelp app, but I think I will now keep my mouth shut if it means we get to keep coming to these events.

I don't know how to give it anything other than 5 stars, particularly since there was no cover charge. The location was great, at a nice golf course tucked into the San Rafael hills. Vendor selection was great - lots of little wineries were there to pour free tastings. And the food was awesome too.. mashed potato-tini.. whaa? WIN.

I even got to work on my swing a little bit. I walked down to the driving range and the pro there grabbed a few extra golf balls for me to practice, picked out an appropriate club for me to borrow, and gave me some free coaching. Finally got rid of that nasty slice! Thanks, Rod!

Yelp does it again - 5 stars.

Good times . What a Great Sunday for Kelvins North Bay Open Event Open Event- Yelps Tee Party at Peacock Gap-The Clubhouse.

I had just got back from LA from another Event late Saturday Night.. So when I woke up Sunday . I jumped into my Whip Black Beauty and rolled to Peacock Gap. When I arrived I was greeted by Peacock Gap Security . I was pleased to see we had a private parking area. I roared up the Driveway and grabbed a spot for Black Beauty .

I rolled up to Peacock Gap and saw the Lovely Jessica T , Checking Everybody in . I rolled in with my Party Pass . The Lovely Nique handed me my Yelp Swag Bag.

I then Made my Donation to the Ritter Center .

Next I rolled into the Main Ballroom which was Converted into Yelpers Disneyland!!!

There were huge Cheese and Charcuterie Stations which I partaked from Delish.

The Mash Potato Bars were Off the Hook . 2 Chefs from Peacock Gap were tearing it up with Yummy Cups of Mixed Mash Potato Creations.

Then I See Elite Yelpers Favorite Gourmet Jerky Maker KRAVE had a Jerky Tasting Station.

The Tasting Station had such Favorites as Basil Citrus Turkey,Pine Apple Orange Beef,Sweet Chipotle Beef,Garlic Chili Pepper Beef,Black Cherry Barbecue Pork,,Lemon Garlic Turkey and Grilled Sweet Teriyaki Pork. All Natural and Very Yummy.I also saw my favorite Krave Sales Manager Jeniffer such a Lovely and Sweet Woman.

Gloria Ferrar had a Sparkling Brut Champagne Station. Yum

Gundlach Bundshu had a Wine Station Set Up.

A Hair Blowout Station was Set Up.

A Yelpers Favorite Photo Booth and Props . gotta love it.

Pop Up Gelato had a Yummy Gelato Station set up . Where I enjoyed the Strawberry Gelato .

Creperie Saint Germain had a Station setup making Mini Crepes. Tasty

Zico Coconut Water had a Station set up with refreshing Zico water Plain or Chocolat . I really like the Chocolat.

On The Outside Patio there was a Huberts Lemonade Station oh so refreshing . they had Black Berry, Straw Berry and Regular Lemonade . They were very generous with the Lemonade.

Honest Ade also had a Station Set Up . They had a few different Flavors.

My fiance and I had the most RADTASTICAL TIME and met so many AWESOME people (high emphasis on capital words).

I sure had NO CLUE what "caddyshack attire" was... fortunately I wasn't the only one!

It's amazing how the club house was recently constructed because the entire facility looked fantastic and the view was phenomenal! I had the luxury to speak to a worker at the "bubble bar" and he told us the insight of how they prepared the building prior to the event. Amazing 'cause the establishment looks as though it's been there for a while and everything there was WELL MAINTAINED, clean, and all the workers had high spirits.

We arrived about thirty minutes in advance but was told to check out the cafe below till the event started. We grabbed ourselves pre party drinks and enduldged with the rich Marine, I only say that cause there was a woman with STACKS of HUNNID DOLLA BILLS YA'LL rite in front of her like it was just paper napkins! Now this is the spot for socialites!

The food was fantastic and the mashed potato bar was the third highlight of the event, of course the first being the wine, the second being the photo booth. But either way everything is successfully executed.

My word of advice to motivate ya'll for Elite status: If you are able to attended these events early (before the actual event starts) I highly recommend cause within fifteen minutes the pace was packed and that mashed potato line was like 40 minutes long! Goes to show how great their food was!

"Croquet on the lawn, anyone? Lovey... how about some bocce or badminton?"

A most delightful venue....treasure to be able to step into the clubhouse and enjoy the very expansive, verdant greens. With the wonderful spread before us, good drink (alcoholic and otherwise), ice cream a la Ben and Jerry's, and Pop up Gelato, we were set for a high tea hour of socializing.

Ritter Center benefited a bit, and Yelp threw yet another wonderful, memorable, and fun party. i LOVE people, food, and giving to great causes. Helping the homeless of marin with housing and a step up is a very worthy cause.

Thank you Kevin, for all of the minutiae planned behind the scenes, and thank you to Peacock Gap for a gorgeous renovation that looks so spiffy! The pergola, large patio, great light that floods the large room. Manicured lawn with backdrop of dramatic hills makes for a wonderful place to enjoy the outside.

Peacock's clubhouse is a perfect venue in which to throw a wedding reception. With the veranda and very large patio which opens up directly from the clubhouse, it's simply stunning for a special event.

Gloria Ferrer: you make gorgeous sparkings! I'll top Fred: 6 stars for this afternoon!

We need a 5+ star rating for events like this.

I have been to a lot of wonderful Yelp events over the past few years but dare I say this is up there as my favorite. North Bay CM Kevin did such an amazing job from the venue it was held at (Peacock Gap), the great atmosphere and vibe throughout the entire afternoon, to the organization, all of which was top notched. Having a great support team of pros like Nique, Abby, and Jelena made the whole thing run so smoothly!!

      Event:
There were a lot of people but never felt chaotic but instead relaxed, there was a line for the mash potato station after awhile but all other vendors and areas were short waits, nice variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic options which I think is key especially to encourage designated drivers, and enough seating to enjoy your food and the view while socializing and meeting new people and catching up with others. It is perfect that they had it open to Elites an hour earlier staggering the groups so by the time it is open at 4 to all, some are already done with the food options and have moved on to the activities, drinks, and desserts. I didn't get a chance to sample or enjoy everything since time flew just hanging out with people but there was something for everyone!!

      Vendors:

Mill Valli Salon - they were doing blow outs

      Watch the Birdee Photo Booth

Creperie St Germaine - cute bite size crepes with 2 savory (spicy sausage and caprese) and 2 sweet (banana and chocolate and lemon curd) options. I only got a chance to try the sweet as I fell in love with the banana chocolate and had 3 of those by the end of the event

Mash Potato Station - they had 2 chefs doing a mash potato your way station (similar to an omelet station) where you choose your own ingredients and it is served in a martini glass...very elegant

Passed Hor'douevres - I got to try a couple of these, an ahi crostini and something with bacon and cream

2 Appetizer Stations - Cheese, crackers, and grapes - I wish they had tomatoes and basil as it would've been perfect with the burrata cheese they had but it was still tasty nevertheless. The other station was prosciutto, cold cuts, artichoke hearts, hummus, and pita chips.

Krave Jerky - An Elite favorite. I am such a huge fan of Krave that after I got to try some of the flavors I haven't had yet, I was so excited to bring others to the station and show them which were pork, turkey, beef, and which are and not spicy. Thanks Jennifer for always being so sweet!

Alcohol - Gloria Ferrer representing the bubbly bar, Larsen Family Winery, Gundlach Bundschu, Bartholomew Park, Oskar Blues, etc..

Non Alcoholic - Zico Coconut Water, Honest Tea, Hubert's Lemonade

Desserts - Ben and Jerry's and PopUp Gelato - PopUp Gelato was so good especially the pistachio and mango that I never got a chance to go to Ben and Jerry's.

When we were leaving and stopped by to thank Kevin, he said "I hope it was okay". Kevin, it was more than okay, it was amazing, fantastic, and I felt so lucky to have been able to enjoy this event.

Usually when I'm planning an outing, I do my homework. Groupon, LivingSocial, Travelzoo, Tripadvisor, etc. This event however, I simply was able to say "I know a guy..." and like my AMAZING new friends, thanks to Kevin and the team, we were in like Flynn.

I'm a huge fan of flash, so when I found out this was going to be held at a swanky golf and country club, my level of delight rose from "4th of July fireworks" to the illusive "kids on their way to Disneyland." Location is amazing. I'd love to book an event there myself. Facebook was jelly. Goodie bags were a little on the "Meh" side, but I was still happy to have one. My first stop was with the Center to do some Social Worker bonding, and I was delighted that yelp paired with such a wonderful organization for this event. Then walking into the main room, my eyes widened and my grin was megawatt. SO MUCH FUN.

I grabbed my ladies and we did the circuit:

Krave jerky (despite the recent Rancho meat recall), was quite good, my favorite was the citrus spice and the Chile. Redefined my opinion on Turkey Jerky. Zico water was not new to me, but they were refreshing after a day in the sun. Of the quite a few wines, I really favored Spiced, with their mimosas and interesting fruit flavors, as well as the Sangiovese brand that was a pure one grape crush, which I have a hard time finding in this area. Passed appetizers were solid, we had a endive chicken salad that was beautiful, a chicken waffle which I'm tiring of, and a PERFECT seared ahi crudité, but my favorite was the garlic pate de coux filled with molten cheese. Bliss.

Of course what everyone was talking about was the potato bar. I was HUGELY skeptical about this, and it took more than a little persuasion for me to go for it. I was intrigued with the marshmallows, and delighted for the fresh garlic and copious levels of dairy and bacon. Fabulous. I wasn't too fond of the crepes, all of which I tried, and all of which were tepid and wilted. The Gelato Bar was a win, I had the strawberry cheesecake, and then later returned to try the mango as well. Ben and Jerry's is always a good call, although by the time I got to them, it was more of soft serve and melty.

We all got glitter tattoos, which we did for ourselves, and did our hair with Milvalle artist extraordinaire. She was SO INCREDIBLY FAST. I was really surprised, it probably took her...3 minutes? And I have a ton of hair. Amazing. She also had hair chalk and did a few purple strands for me, subtle and va-va-voom! We then, perfectly coiffed, went to the photo booth, and made adorable fools of ourselves.

The best part of this event was the location. The views were spectacular. We had a fun time "playing" badminton, as well as croquet, both of which we sort of made our own rules to, and mostly just were big goobers and triple fisting our different drinks. Golf was fun, although they had too many yelpers in the golf area, and I as well as a few stander-bys almost got clocked by yelpers who should have been supervised. My blonde bombshell date and I...acquired...a golf cart from one of the bag boys, and were given carte blanche to drive it all over the course. We had a really great time, so much fun.

This event was really seamlessly put together, and full of many delightful surprises. Can't wait for more big events like this! Brava Kevin! I want some more, sir!

What an excellent day for an event of this caliber!

The weather was absolutely gorgeous for a Sunday afternoon event @ the golf club. There were many of amazing food, drink & plenty of Gelato by Pop Up Gelato and Ice Cream by Ben & Jerry's.

Many great wineries were in attendance.

We got hooked up with the opportunity to try out the golf driving range, which was quite fun. Thanks to Rod @ Peacock Gap Golf Club for the pointers for this 1st timer ever hitting a golf ball.

The mash potato bar was off the hook! Never have I ever hard or eaten a mash potato "omelet".

Thanks Kevin the North bay CM and all the other CM's who help to pull all this together.

We had a great time, my wife had a blast and had her hair curled and was looking absolutely stunning.... :-)

Plus the event helped to raise money for the Ritter House.

      Thanks Yelp!

Imagine sitting under a large veranda in your preppiest preppy clothes, sipping spicy red wine mimosa and nibbling on gourmet cheese and crackers. The sun is shining down on you while your Ray Bans are deflecting harmful UV rays away from your precious eyes. You cast your eyes on the magnificently groomed lawn used for golfing and breath in the fresh air. Ahhh... It's a relaxing atmosphere and a picture perfect day for a YELP event!

I would give 20 stars if I could because this event was that good! By far one of the more "relaxing" events I've ever attended. It was just the right amount of people, it was picture perfect weather, it had just enough vendors to keep everything interesting and the country club was spectacular.

20 stars for Kevin and the rest of the Yelp team for pulling off such a nice event.

This was my first Yelp Event ever and needless to say, it exceeded my expectations!

The food was incredible as well as the variety of refreshments. All of the vendors were extremely upbeat and seemed genuinely happy to be there.

The loaded mashed potato bar was brilliant. The gentleman who put together my mashed potato-tini had such charisma that he made me forget about how long I had to wait in line.

I don't believe I tried anything from Range Cafe Bar & Grill. I did try every single sample of beef jerky from Krave Jerky. All of the samples were delicious and the woman working the table was very very sweet.

I was next in line at the Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream stand and a woman deliberately cut right in front of me (rude!) and the girl behind the counter gave me an apologetic look as she served the woman as quickly as possible. The ice cream was decadent as per usual.

The guys working Pop Up Gelato were very helpful with describing all of the different flavors. I tried the strawberry sorbet and it was oh so good. The wafer that was included with the sorbet was so light and crunchy. The crepes from Creperie Saint-Germain were amazing! I loved the savory one that was topped with meat as well as the one that was topped with banana and chocolate. The women working this table were very friendly!

I had a glass of this amazingly delicious concoction from Spicy Vines. I can't remember what was all mixed into my glass but the result was a cloudy red color and it was so so so good. The bubbly bar was great, I love champagne!

All of the non-alcoholic refreshments were great. I tried a peach flavored tea from Honest Ice Tea and I was surprised because it wasn't insanely sweet like most peach iced teas usually are. It was refreshing. The strawberry lemonade from Hubert's Lemonade was perfect, not too sweet, not too sour.

The live music was great! The woman who would step in sing every once in awhile was very good.

The Swingin' Photo Booth was a huge hit in my opinion and such a cool addition to this event. The woman working the photo-booth would let you look through all of the photos you took and then printed out however many copies you wanted right then and there. Very cool.

I was looking forward to the beauty/relaxation station but it wasn't what I expected. There was one woman curling hair and applying temporary glitter tattoos. She said that some of the people who were supposed to work that station didn't show up.

Overall, I met a lot of new people and I had so much fun. I can't wait to attend another Yelp event!

Excellent event!! Thank you so much to the folks that put this together-- well done!

I sincerely enjoyed the terrific cheese and humus plates. What nice snacks to compliment the wine and bubbly tasting. Sadly, the long line for the mashed potato bar prevented us from tasting, but it sure looked tasty! Also, the mini crepes were delicious and the gelato and Ben and Jerry's were quite a treat to finish off the savory bites.

The lawn games were a hit! What a great way to encourage a mixing and mingling of Yelpers. The weather was incredible and only enhanced such a great event.

If I ever need to host a special event I will surely consider Peacock Gap. The facility and staff undoubtedly left a very favorable impression!

...and at the end of the day this event helped out an incredible cause! Awesome!

Blissful Sunday in Marin County - Yelpers from all over the Bay Area flocked to this exceptionally unique country club in San Rafael, recently renovated. Numerous vendors surrounded the beautiful grounds at Peacock Gap, and the driving range gave everyone a chance to hit some balls. It's a natural playground in Marin's varied landscape, we soaked up the sights and sounds of this gorgeous venue. http://www.peacockgapgolfclub.com

Kevin and the rockstar CM's, along with the stellar Yelp crew, spoiled us with a culture of experiences while celebrating the area's agricultural riches. From handcrafted cheeses, cold cuts, various vintners (love Gloria Ferrer), mash-tini's thicker than Kim Kardashian (kudos to the potato Chef), plentiful platters of seasonal goodies, everything was top-notch!

Thank you Shea from MilVali Salon who curled my hair with her finest touch (she also works at the SF location), and much thanks to Shannon from "Watch the Birdee" photobooth for graciously printing photos for everyone to reminisce about.

Much thanks to Peacock Gap for throwing a successful fundraiser in support of the Ritter Center, as the proceeds from Yelp's Tee Party will definitely benefit Marin's homeless community. http://www.rittercenter.org
