Yelp's Slice of Goodness Elite Event

Was so happy to finally get to an Elite event with the wife.

Will did a great job, food, drinks and location were all top notch.

Slice provided a great venue and great service as always.

Cool people, great pizza, the best beer in town, and a perfect wait staff taking care of us??? ...that was a 6 stars event!!
Slice is the best pizza in town, and Will the best organizer of any town.

Great event!

I was looking forward to this event since I'd been to Slice once before and had favorable thoughts on the place. Mmm, basic pesto pie.

The friendly servers certainly kept the Good People flowing. I liked sitting outside on the patio, munching away on a crisp fall eve. Ah, the perks of being Elite.

I'm not sure what the varieties of pizza we sampled were (maybe some tent cards with pie names or little menus would help?) but everything was delicious or at the very least quite interesting and unique. There was plenty of food for everyone, and the offerings were all gobbled down in a heartbeat. My +1 and I had a dandy time.

We already know that a Yelp event is going to be a great time, but the Slice of Goodness event was awesome!

When the lovely staff brought out the cheese bread and wings, I was pumped because 1. the cheese bread is amazing, and 2. I've never tried their wings. After sampling Slice's wings, I now know that they're as delicious as others have described.

But wait...there was more! Every pizza imaginable was next on the menu and they were perfect. My favorite is still the "This Little Piggy", but now that I've tried the "Soul Pie", there might be a tie.

Thanks again to our awesome community manager, Will, and Yelp! Can't wait for the next event.

As always our most excellent Community Manager Will put together a rockin Elite Event. Slice Pizza is perhaps the best pizza in town. Slice served us their phenomenal wings and cheese bread as an appetizer. The meal was a great assortment of the many different pizza's they offer. Such unique and amazing combos to choose from.

Will was also able to score two kegs of Good People. One keg of the Pale Ale and one of the Bearded Lady. For me I was supremely pleased as Bearded Lady is my favorite Good People Beer.

Gotta say we are lucky to have Will as our Community Manager and look forward to the next event.

I'm a fan of Slice due to the pizza, salads, wings, employees and beer. I also know a number of people that work there. However, I will say that their pizza remains my favorite in town with Trattoria Centrale and sometimes Salvatores and New York pizza coming in after them (and sometimes Bettola, when not soggy).

Anyway, Will and Slice put on a great event (and Matt is an awesome server as well). The wings and breadsticks came out first and I fell on them with a voracious hunger. I like the crispiness of the wings plus the sauce and the cheese bread is a garlicy cheesy pizza so what's not to like? We only stayed for the first round of pizza but liked them all too (although the Soul Pie is a bit weird).

Can't wait for the next Elite event but until then I know I'll be back at Slice.

A superb night to be out on the patio at Slice! The pizza was abundant, perfectly crispy, and undeniably delicious! Now that fall is here, there's no better time or place to enjoy patio dining than in the BHM area, and Slice's patio is among the cream of the crop. Will nailed it again as the host, and I'm looking forward to the next time around with the rest of the Yelp Elite.

Oh, and the tins with the Yelp-shaped mints were pretty cool too.
