      Where to start?

      My grandmother called to get a wheelchair accessible van to visit for the holidays. Cab 207 was an hour late, but they did not mind, as it was the holidays. My grandmother had previous called and asked for the price of the one way trip and was told $18. When she arrived, Amanda(cab 207) told her it was $28 and that it was cash or cash app, as she is an independent contractor and that the fee would go to the company if a card was used. So my family paid cash + tip, cause it was the holiday and we were just happy to have her home. Mind you, we helped load and unload each trip. Pick up time was 4pm, but cab 207 did not arrive until almost 5pm. We helped load her into the van and I offered to pay the price of the trip with my card, as I was unaware of the "independent contractor" and not paying "the man" mentality of the cab driver. She then gave me the whole layout of why she didn't want my card. I told her that I was unaware that the service was a private service and that I had to pay her directly. She took my card and put it into her cash-app. I have never used cash app, so i did not know just how awful that was. My card wouldn't let her and she then came up with "i can't pay card until after drop off", so I followed the van to the nursing home. Mind you, the whole time she was trying to haggle me and decline my card, she kept the meter running. Once i arrived to the nursing home, she preceded to haggle me again about cash only and told me she would pay me back the atm that I would occur. Already annoyed and upset that I drove the whole way to pay card, I walked away and drove to the gas station. She followed me and the cab fair was $24. Minus my atm fee, I gave her $20. She then told me I owed her $30 and pulled out two separate receipts for a single trip. I explained that I looked at the fair before leaving to the gas station and I wasn't paying her to follow me to the station. She said "why you making this difficult" and "you know what?!". She then drove back to the nursing home and hassled my grandmother, who is in early stage dementia, and tried to get her to give her cash. The nurses stopped my grandmother from giving her a wad of cash and the cab driver told them that she wasn't paid. I have the atm withdrawal and was on camera giving the driver her cash. Luckily, my aunt was in the nursing home and confronted the driver, Amanda, about the incident. I can not believe my grandmother was harassed over such a trivial amount of money that was not only declined by the driver via credit card, but was also provided to the driver via cash. Please be careful when utilizing this company and I have made an official compliant with the company. If my credit card is hacked due to her putting my information into her cash app, I will seek legal action.

      I have used the Mobile Yellow Cab service several times through the past 4 years. The drivers have always been courteous, clean, and knowledgeable. The only complaint I have is that the company needs more cabs on the road. I don't expect instant service when I call from a residence, but an over an hour wait from a CVS Pharmacy on Airport Road? The driver, when he got there was excellent.The cab was clean, The driver knew exactly where I wanted to go and took a good route there.

      A professional turned my thinking of relocating to Mobile around. I had a rough go of it thanks to a contemporary and an argument I had with him. Compounded by the fact that the other motel gave erroneous information on the sell out of the rooms for the night/week.

      The absolute worst taxi company! They lie about being on the way; they don't care about you as a person; they don't have enough drivers; they don't honor pre booking the taxi day ahead; they are able to ruin one's entire trip with a horrible start! Drive yourself or find a friend and do yourself a favor!

      I see why they have one star. That's too high! This company needs a half star option. Their 20/30 minutes was 80 minutes. Then the same driver offered to bring us back from Walmart so we said ok. We got in the cab and said the other person is cashing out and will be here in one minute. He said he had to start the meter anyway. I was not mad at the $2 difference. I was mad at myself for agreeing to use them on the return trip. Never again!

      I agree 1 star is way to much for this company. I made a reservation for a cab to pick me up in the morning to the Mobile Airport. The driver wasn't there at the scheduled time and I called the company dispatch. They had the driver call me and he was not even on his way to my house yet. He had no concern over my time frame or that he was late. I waited another 20 minutes and still no cab. At this point I had to make other arrangements!! I Call the driver to cancel and he showed no remorse at all. I then called dispatch and had the same response from them.
