Hmph, and I so thought I was going to get a first on this review.
I'm a client of AMR, we use them to recruit human-type folks to test products and services. AMR is great, always professional, fast, reliable, and friendly. Even when I have to change schedule on them at the last minute they adapt very well.
Now, here's a weird factoid. I pay the folks who come in really well, like $100 to watch TV for 90 minutes and answer some questions. You'd think people would show up. But nooooo, 10-20% of the people never show leaving that money on the table. The ones that are the worst about blowing off this money opportunity? 18-25 year olds. You'd think they'd be motivated. Our world is doomed when the up and coming generation can't focus on $$$.
AMR also sends me really nice gift baskets at Christmas time. For some reason Vodka often ends up in my basket, I'll take it. Then again I throw a ton of money at them every year for their services so fair is fair.
So, if you want to make some good spare cash, sign up with AMR. I always need a bigger participant pool. And like show up.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 6Oh no 0 - Kari B.Austin, TX282Nov 28, 2008First to Review
Dude! Cash for a bit of your time and your opinion = better than the Tooth Fairy.
But Austin Market Research is even better than that. They are friendly and have interesting groups. Over the years I've gotten paid to drink beer, send texts on my cell phone, and complain about my allergies--all stuff I'd usual *pay* to do.
I see their number on the caller ID and jump to answer it because I know that they won't waste my time and there's a chance that some cash will come my way for an hour or two of talking and eating their snacks. I've hooked up friends with AMR and they all come back to thank me, so I figured it was time to share it with a larger crowd :)Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Lindsay S.Austin, TX62722May 19, 2013
A couple of weeks ago I did my first market research study on Starbucks. I had an absolute blast! Super professional and met some great people. Now, I always get excited when I see that number come up on my cell. I $150 cash after the 3 hour study. I would absolutely do it again! Easiest money I've ever made.

Cash for my opinions (which I usually just give away for free!). I've done two studies with them now & have no complaints. They are always super professional & easy to work with

This is a great place! They do just what they say and do it well and professorially. There is no catch and no gimmick. And cash money at the end most of the time!

I've been participating with AMR for a few years now, and have participated in about five to six surveys, focus groups and they are always interesting and I meet some nice people. I've never had an issue with pay (so far) and they cash at the end is always nice :) I highly recommend participating if you can.

I just completed my second study with AMR and, in the envelope with my crisp $100 bill was a thank you letter asking if I'd like to leave a Yelp review. Well, don't mind if I do! What's not to love?? Show up. Get snacks (or dinner if it's around that time). Participate in a simple focus group where you get to answer questions and speak your mind. Leave with cold, hard cash. Sign me up for more!!!

My very first study and I already can't wait to do another! I found it to actually be really fun getting to talk about our opinions on the subject at hand! Not to mention free snacks and drinks AND GETTING PAID FOR IT, cash! uh helloooo you have to be crazy to not love these things haha.

Went to my first focus group yesterday, and it was so much fun! Got to meet several intelligent, creative folks. Felt like every voice was heard, including mine. Can't wait for another one!
