Don't buy here unless you love endless headaches, empty apologies, and horrible customer service.
No one knows their job, no one cares. 5 months trying to get a repair, and still not done.
Overworked tech's, off-shore call center, no accountability: you do the math.

Had a home repair scheduled today on my dryer. Repairman never showed. Finally looked at my link that was sent by text and repair was rescheduled for a week from today. This is not ok since it is a brand new dryer and there should not have been any issues in the 1st place. Tried to chat with customer service, got hung up on. Tried to call customer service got put on hold till office was closed then got hung up on. The worst customer service I have ever had for something that should not have happened in the 1st place.

They were able to fix our Refrigerator after 2 visits. Was able to troubleshoot the problem and order the part.
Was happy with the service after I was given the run around by "5280 Appliance Repair.

The lady who took my appointment told me a service technician would come out earlier than another repairman. My pregnant wife with a 2 year old stayed home all day waiting for someone to show up and when I called wondering what happened I was told the visit was never scheduled. So, I was lied to on the phone, a pending charge for the full repair is on my credit card, and I cancelled my other appointment.

Sears Appliance Repair, aka A&E Factory Service covers the extended "factory" warranty on our LG appliances. They consistently take forever to show up, never have parts, don't show up for scheduled appointments without notice and without contacting the customer. Their text alerts and app will show a technician as "arrived" when they miss an appointment. Ridiculous. I would never use them for an out of warranty repair and will never again purchase any product that uses A&E for "factory" warranty. If I buy an LG factory warranty, I expect an LG technician.

Great service! I called in and repair person was there the next morning and had the part needed right on the truck. We are very pleased with Sears Service.

Our Fridge has a manufactured date of 3/2016, was purchased 7/2016 and now is broken! We called Sears Home Service and get a Technician (ID# 0005702) 2 weeks ago who diagnosed the issue but refused to fix it. He stated in his service notes that "customer service" read to me that he did NOT want to fix our fridge. The issue was a bad compressor so sears shipped a new one to us. The same Tech showed up to install the new compressor and was very antisocial and rude. The fridge worked for 3 days and failed again, the SAME Tech came out again and said there was a clogged line and supposedly fixed it. Our fridge is still broken our food has begun to spoil. I talked to "customer service" yesterday(2/15/17) about our problems and was told a new Sr.Tech would be out today (2/16/17) however when the confirmation email was sent it was scheduled for Monday (2/20/17). We have also been told that even thought this is an emergence repair that they just can't get a Tech out here until next week.

We have been without a working fridge going on 4 weeks now and they don't seem to care if it gets fixed (before the warranty is void) or that we are having to throw away food. Poor and incompetent Customer Service and Technicians!

DO NOT BUY FROM SEARS for appliances!

Wrong diagnosis of the problem with the refrigerator from Sears' sub contractor a&e factory service. Second repair date to install a new computer board made on a day that we told the sub contractor no one would be home. I called Sears' sub contractor to change the date and was asked if I had received the computer board as it was delivered four days prior to my call to change the incorrect date for the second visit. I wasn't initially told UPS would be making a delivery at my home, no tracking numbers, etc. There was no package on my porch so Sears' sub contractor had to order the computer board again. I looked on my porch every day to see if anything had been delivered and got the computer board when it was delivered. Another sub contractor installed the board and the refrigerator still doesn't work and has the same error code as it initially had. My wife called Sears and explained the problem and was told the earliest someone could come back would be in a month. My wife had to get irate with the Sears representative and they finally made the appointment for two weeks out instead of a month. We've been without a refrigerator for more than a month and still waiting. I'm not impressed with the low quality of a $2,600 dollar Kenmore Elite refrigerator than only worked for 20 months before breaking. I'm not pleased with Sears' business model of sub contracting most if not all repair work to other companies.

      First to Review

Sears nearly ruined my Electrolux range. The technician not only destroyed a wiring harness and a touch control pad he had the gall to be completely rude and said, and I quote, "this is why I hate fixing other people's stuff". What he meant by that, I have no idea, but he was rude from the very beginning. I actually called Brand Source who came out and suggested I have Sears come out and fix the damage they caused before they would even touch it. I called Sears and demanded they come out and fix the $1000.00 problem for free and filed a formal complaint against the technician. My opinion... don't every buy anything from Sears and certainly don't ever use their service department!
