We rented a unit for 2 years. Very angry and disturbed on how Wrondel Self Storage site manager, Johnny, conducted business. No respect for the customer, terrible response, he did not know how to use office printer for customer receipts. We would have to wait 15 to 20 minutes for printer receipts, and he would say do not disturbed him during this period. Company's greed with TWO rate increases. Down the street from Wrondel, same size storage unit is $46.00 per month cheaper. Our unit roll up door was not sealed which cause excessive dirt and insects to enter our stored items. Several times our entrance code would not work. When we called him to open the gate, his response was to wait, which would take 15-20 minutes, and then he would hang up the phone. I recommend go elsewhere for storage and save yourself the pain of renting from Wrondel Reno NV.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Rates keep going up, office hours are limited, phone calls are NEVER answered and rarely returned. Units are not well sealed so dust blows in. Access is limited.

I actually went here because of reviews on Yelp, in spite of the area of town it's in. I try and trust my fellow yelpers, and it had some good reviews and good prices on line. I called to confirm they were there, and open on a Saturday (a woman answered and said yes) I drove over and it took me about 20 minutes, and there was no place to park (one spot on the street) it was really difficult to see where to park, where to go in, which was the office. There were signs saying "don't park here" that were next to the place, but I managed finally to find a spot. Went to the office, and there was a sign saying they'd be back at 2:00! So I drove all that way with a load of stuff and they weren't even there! So went to the 2nd place on my list, and they were there and gave me an even better deal! Seriously though, on Saturday someone should be there all day if you care about new customers coming in.

If you like friendly service and a convenient location, Wrondel Self Storage is the place for you. Sadly, you must also enjoy rodents and water damage. We stored household items here during an extensive home remodel and upon move out found water damage to some furniture, numerous dead rodents dispersed throughout our unit and feces in and around our property. Perhaps the newer rental units are in better shape, but ours on the #80's row was pretty bad. Find another location.

I really wanted to like this place. The staff (at least the old staff) seemed really burner-friendly and the prices were decent. Our camp would go to our unit from time to time to clean our stuff and get rid of old items, they allowed us to use their hose to wash stuff and dumpster for trash on site. However, when we checked out of our unit because we outgrew it, an angry manager called and said we shouldn't have been using their dumpster and because of that they're not giving us our refund back. I guess policies change pretty drastically when they know they're not earning money from you anymore. Oh well, on to the next!

My husband found this self storage not far from our apartment, we hadn't moved anything in right away so when we did we found they put a lock on so no one would use and that way it was clean for when we did I appreciate them securing our unit. The staff is friendly and helpful also were very nice to my large dogs so that was a plus they didn't have a problem with mine being there as I unloaded my things. All in all very pleased with this place!

They made it really easy to get set up with a storage unit, and they have month-to-month leases; I appreciate the flexibility that gives.

I've had a storage unit at Wrondel Self Storage for a little over 2 years now. I'm from Reno but am now living in Las Vegas. Johnny (as well as other staff members) have been professional, kind & helpful with questions I've had and when I've needed assistance with my account. Possibly my worst experience with customer service in a long time. Manager was unhelpful, rude and had a pushback for every comment. I had already signed all docs on line and showed up to get the code and unload into the unit. Made me wait 20 minutes while he showed another customer another unit and did their paper work. "First come, first served" - couldn't bother just to give me the code so I could enter the facility. Then finally after giving me the code and wrong directions (i.e. put in the code, and got down about a third of the way on the left past the gate), I learned that the unit was in fact OUTSIDE the control gate and showed break-in damage on the lock mechanism. Came back to the manager who then advised he was still busy with paperwork for other and made me wait another 15 minutes until he could bother to remove the lock on that unit that I had already paid for. At this point I said do you have another unit that is inside the gated yard so it is secure. He told me that since I had made the mistake of signing up on line, he could not change the unit. At this point I had steam coming from my ears and told him to just cancel entirely. I also made the observation that in a longline I had never encountered such lousy customer service and used an Anglo-Saxon word for such a person. He then said "Look at my reviews on Google - they're all good." I assured him that I would make sure to post a review myself.
