Booked a hotel for night in Phoenix on the phone with this terrible company! The guy on the phone insisted he found a hotel with rooms available. He insisted let's reserved the room with your credit card number. I was like you sure I can check in at 3am? He said yes! Just need your credit card. So I gave him my card over the phone. I went to the hotel to check-in no rooms available. Hotel was at full capacity! . He doesn't know why the guy on the phone booked this when he didn't even call the hotel to confirm? So I was so mad! 3am Saturday morning. No Hotel. Every Hotel in the Phoenix area is full for the weekend. So I called the number back. Told him you lied to me! I want my money back! I want the chargers reversed ASAP! So I can have the money. He said it will take over 10 businesses days to get your refund! . WTF? I need the money now! You stole my money. Sold me a hotel room that wasn't even available! He was working under commission I found out. He was pressed to make a sale.
So I couldn't find a replacement Hotel. I had to sleep in my car that night! The guy on the phone was a not helpful. Couldn't give me my money back right then! He said you got to wait 10 businesses days. I booked this with Expedia, but they send me to a Travel Agency under the name World Wide. Not sure how that happened? Never again! No one should ever have to wait this long for a refund for a hotel reservation! Needs to be Instantly! Don't ever go with this company! Here is the phone number to this terrible company. I will be contacting the attorney general also about this company! Calling my bank to get those charges reversed! Can't keep waiting for my money to appear back into my bank account!
Travel Agency under the name World Wide.

Didn't attend. Read reviews after making attendance reservations. Reviews reflect it's required to pay Worldwide thousands of dollars to use their travel services. It didn't appear reasonable to have to pay them to use their service so they could make money.

I honestly don't even want to give a one star rating.
While in Maui, we attended the seminar which felt like speed dating and subject you to completely pressure, used car salesman like.
This was a complete scam. Best "travel deals", I call BS. We continually found less expensive flights AND hotels. Waste of money. I can't say enough bad things.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Evan H.Lahaina, HI299126Jul 24, 2017
This company has been closed for years and after repeated efforts Yelp will not mark them as closed. They were a scam and are a blight on the travel industry. Only leaving this review to remind Yelp to mark them as closed.

We also got a card in the mail. It offered an 8 day cruise to anywhere in the world if we would just go listen to their shpiel. So, we did.
Here is my response:
a. We had to show them an ID AND a credit card in order to get in. I'm fairly certain this is so that they can be sure that we have something to pay for their product with. But ...this shows poor manners, a lack of trust on their part for me. When we checked in, they also took our post card so that we couldn't refer to what was promised later in the day.
b) They are not very progressive with the manners...for example, there was a place for a Mr. to sign up (the first spot...) and a Mrs. (the second spot, of course...) but this made me wonder about gay and lesbian couples, and how they would have to handle that. Also, Bob, the guy who did our presentation, came over and introduced himself to my husband, and shook his hand. To me he said, "ma'am," and nodded. I felt like property or something.
c) It's a big pep rally show. They show you facts and figures on a Power Point so fast that you can't look them up on your phone quickly enough to matter. It sounds really, really good, however...
d) They really push the hard-sell. They already have an answer for every reason you have to not join. They call other people over to deal with you if you say no. Then they tell you to go speak to a last person to get your gift, and that person tries to sell you, too. It was very uncomfortable to try to say no.
e) The awesome offers they show you on the Power Point and shove in your face afterwords during the hard-sell are only good for that day, and then they tell you you'll get a CRAP offer if you tell them you want to go and think about it. I'm sorry, I am not the kind of person who drops 10k just because someone tells me to in that moment. I like to do research first, think about it, check my bank statements. Little things like that.
f) The 8 day cruise they offered us was not "anywhere in the world," as the postcard stated, although I didn't have it with me anymore when we went to get it. It was all U.S. adjacent, which means no Europe. And no Alaska. These are both places we spoke about going prior to the day's event. On the plus side, for only $250 plus port taxes, we're getting a "free" cruise.
While it sounds like an amazing product, we did not make the purchase. Bob compared World Wide Travel to Costco, where you purchase a membership in order to get discount rates. (You don't get anything for your $$ up front, you pay in order to get cheap rates on vacations) I didn't join Costco until there were other people like me--my parents, in-laws, friends--who could vouch for the company. There were no clients there yesterday to offer a testimony, and I don't personally know any of the "hundreds of thousands" of people who are already members.
Basically, it reeks of of a scam,.Helpful 16Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Phil H.Santa Clarita, CA128225Aug 25, 2011

My husband and I are travel all the time. We decided to go to a presentation for Worldwide in mid January. When we saw what the product was we absolutely loved that it wasn't timeshare. We had a timeshare and if you join they do a trade in and give you an unlimited package plus 5 additional households can also use all the benefits which are wholesale rates on vacation villa condo weeks, packages, all inclusive guided tours and a few other vacation related services or discounts. We hesitated in joining just because we had been through this type of thing before with our timeshare, but were so desperate to get rid of the maintenance fees which were $1,400 per year that we decided to go ahead and take the gamble.
My husband and I have used the program three times, the most recent trip we did was in Italy, we just got back my husband had business to attend there and the travel agents arranged everything they set us up with guided tours, a romantic dinner cruise, accommodations for two weeks, cooking classes even cab shuttle services. I will say planning and booking it through them took a little while to do longer than I expected but Freddy the travel agent was amazing the trip that would've cost us $9,100 end up costing $4,300. The other occasions I booked travel through Worldwide the only complaints I would have is that I had to call in and request more than once but got serviced very quickly after I told the receptionist I had already left a request.
It isn't 100% perfect but it got me on an amazing vacation I wouldn't have gone on my own, I wouldn't have even thought of some of the suggestions that were recommended to me by Freddy. The gift for going to the presentation is hard to use and I think I paid more for it than if I would've gone through Worldwide to book the cruise for me but its through a third party, The port taxes are set and that's what you pay for the complimentary cruise, there are a few other processing fees that you have to pay though they just cover the cabin.
All in all I am happy with their product, my entire family and a few of my friends are able to travel for the rest of their lives for wholesale rates which is a huge benefit they have, We got rid of our timeshare and only pay a yearly service fee of $299 and that can never go up.
I would recommend this product I think Worldwide tries there best to deliver what they promised it isn't perfect and you can't please everyone but over all it does what they said it would do.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jill L.Canoga Park, CA13222Mar 14, 2011
I too received a post-card in the mail from Worldwide Travel Services in Valencia, Ca. Upon calling the phone number, I was advised that I would need to sit for a 90 minute presentation to be eligible for the 8 day cruise.
A great website to detect scams is Ripoffreport.com and Complaintsboard.com.
There was one complaint about this agency on Ripoffreport.
When I talked to Carnival, they strongly suggested being careful with offers like this.
I agree that the postings on this page seem fake, as well as the "Testimonials" on their web page.
Buyer beware! Please do not be lured in by such a great offer!!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
