Q:
Can you walk to part of Strip where major hotels and casinos are located?
A:
If it's the middle of winter or the heat of summer, no way. You'll either freeze or melt. Not to mention part of the way is unpaved so you'd be walking in desert. Better idea? Just get a cab - it might cost you $5-7 to get to the strip.

This is my overall personal rating. So Yelp Star rating is combined.
- Front Lobby Desk Service: 1 Star

- Front Desk Sales: -5 stars for being like pedophiles/street pan handlers on every guest check in. They just don't take NO for answer.

We are here for the weekend to attend a family birthday. It was 2007 when my wife and I was here. One of many residents when this location first open in early 2000's. Which ended up being the most requested reservations in the area as there are 2 other Timeshares in Las Vegas. Spencer and Tropicana. Since then, with family and all. We always opted for a small quaint living visits to any Worldmark sites. Surprisingly, the other 2 locations were booked.
The room we got was the standard 2 bedroom. Nothing to complain about. Neat, clean, sanitize and organized. My only complaint about the room, is picture frame above the main couch can cause a bump to someone's head as it's mounted very low. The Corners of the frame can also 'puncture' someone's skull if a resident guest/guest is not aware of it. This is something that the Management Staff should review with Maintenance. But I assume it's been like for years. But this could be a lawsuit waiting to happen. This is a safety issue in my opinion.
The front desk staff is more face value service than oriented service. If I had to make a comparison. Think of them as Wal-Mart Greeters with a smile. Sales here, are VULTURES. They put "Guest Service" in comparison to Street Pan Handlers. Hustling for business and trying to make point. They will prey, hunt, persuade, upsell promotions to new and existing owners. It's a major annoyance. Saying " we don't want to take away your precious vacation time" but they will try. This is at check-in. Parking at the check-in is a 30 minute wait. And if the lobby is busy. It takes all 30 minutes. So what's the point of the parking sign?
Room Staff Service, Ground keep maintenance and Security Gate Staff are great. Very friendly and helpful. When we parked in the garage area, we we're greeted by some of the staff with a much more warm welcome and sincerity. They didn't act fake. Unlike the Suit & Dresses Front Desk/Lobby Staff.
The game room, pools, and outdoor activities are great for all ages. Visit the Lazy River Market for coffee, shaved ice and other amenities that you may have forgot or get some snacks. Be warned though. Prices are a bit steep. But hey, this is Las Vegas right? But so is the Grocery Store Smith's. Which is much cheaper.
Tip:
If your car battery is dead for some unknown reason. DO NOT CONTACT THE FRONT DESK. This facility does not offer these kinds of service nor do they even try to make an effort to contact any maintenance team to see if they can help out. They also went as far as saying 'Its a violation, liability and against property policies to offer these kind of Automotive Services. It's better to contact your Automotive Insurance to have these services help you out'. So they say. So do not expect these staff to go above and beyond to help residents and guests. Trust me, Other Site Residencies do offer and help their guests on situations like this. Guess when you are in Las Vegas you are on your own. Oh and don't try to call front desk. We tried to call them two times in under a minute for a late check out and my wife was annoyed as the front desk kept saying they can't hear. They say they can't hear you but they do. Regardless how loud that Lobby can get. So it's better to walk your butt over to the lobby.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Let me preface this writing by saying the property and room are awesome. We were in a studio with a view of the mountains.... beautiful!!! The staff is excellent, nice as can be.
We've owned this time share for over 20 years now. Probably like most timeshares, you get lured into these "update" meetings with free "something. The script of the salesman has been and will always be the same.
1. Get to know some family and vacation details about your victim... I mean, customer. ALL THE WHILE, being extremely cordial, making sure you're comfortable. Some of you who have been on the wrong side of the law may associate these same tactics with an interrogation.
2. Excuse themselves for a minute, or 10, and do some mental juggling on their approach having this newly discovered personal data of yours.
3. Come back to the table with your account info, ie your Worldmark credit usage, quantity etc. They will begin discussing what you have, correlating it to number and lengths of vacations per year you have taken. Then start asking if you would take more vacays, if you had "this or this"..
Basically blowing warm and tingly smoke right up your poop chute, until you're excitement has built to near orgasmic explosions, while spewing the eternal joys that you would experience as if Jesus was your personal travel agent, welcoming you into the smile laden joys of a forever heaven, simultaneously pushing the life altering pay schedule in your direction, for "just a signature" while selling to you that this signature will answer all of your wildly imagined dreams of joy and beautiful sins you've always fantasized about.
Now, let's bring this back to earth for a moment. We came to Vegas for a short vacation in support of our cheerleader granddaughters competition, and at this point of our "Timeshare update" we are quickly creeping up on 2 hours. At some point in the conversation I stated such and that the sales pitch has been this exact process for yours, to which he responds, "This isn't a sales pitch."
Well, here's the skinny. His NON SALES pitch was in an attempt to fulfill our eternal joys to the tune of ONLY $115,000.. ONLY!!!! And with a modest down payment of almost $24,000 it would bring our monthly down to $2500!! I mean, I was fully prepared to sacrifice my neighbors children for this NON SALES opportunity of the millennia!!! What better way to reach a level of ecstacy never achieved but by spending $2,500 a month, or $30,000 a year to secure my vacations!!
It comes down to this. Do not let these worldmark carcass buzzards pressure you into these "deals of a lifetime" THE ONLY "LIFETIME" you'll experience is a lifetime of payments. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR FAMILY! Their only care is about closing the deal, because it's their job! Do not put your family in financial danger with anyone.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Mika D.Bay Area, CA1354062Jan 10, 2024
We were in town for a football event, so a friend of ours allowed us to stay here in their timeshare.
It wa a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom spacious unit with a full kitchen, a livingroom with a patio that faced the pool. There is a free shuttle that will pick you up every hour and take you to the Vegas strip. There is also a small store that also offers Starbucks.
I arrived after everyone else, so I can not speak on the customer service or check in process.
Location was very convenient. It was 10-15 mins from the strip by car, 8 mins to the Outlets, 5 minutes to the freeway, and there is plenty of eateries in the area that are walking distance.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1Business owner information

Now this is the best part of the experience and what I hope people will read. Ya I shouldn't have written so much cuz who's gonna read this far
So..... blondie rep says, do you want me to show you pricing. Sure, if you want. So she hands me an iPad and says just fill this out and I'll show the pricing to you.
I scan it and sure enough she wants my social to run credit. Are you out of your mind?!
I calmly say, I'm not gonna give you my social and I'm not gonna run my credit.
So she says, if you don't then I can't show you pricing. And if I don't show you pricing you won't get your gifts. HAHAHAHAHA!!! Lady!!! Who taught you this nonsense?! Even worse, who falls for it?! Hopefully no one.
So closer comes by and says no problem just have her fill out blah blah form. And...... now he wants me to apply for a line of credit.
I say, nope. Blondie says, I don't need your social. I just need your phone number and your signature.
Nah dude. So she goes into the little office, presumably to cry. She comes back out and quickly scribbles down some numbers. I have 10 minutes left. So I go to the rest room.
Blondie is not at the table now. She's in the office w closer. I watch the clock strike the 2 hour mark and I pop my head into the office. I thought that was pretty funny to do that cuz he was thrown by that move. I said, it's 2 hours I'm ready to leave. He brushes me off and tells me I have to wait.
I wait a few more minutes, i see a couple who was in the presentation walking out. I ask, you're done? Yes. Oh this guy won't let me leave.
So now I keep popping my head into the little office and saying his name and it's time for me to go.
THIS GUY, AFTER A FEW TIMES OF TELLING ME TO SIT DOWN AND WAIT AND ME SAYING NO, COMES OUT OF THE OFFICE AND POINTS HIS NASTY FINGER IN MY FACE AND SAYS, LISTEN LADY, IVE BEEN NICE. YOU NEED TO SIT DOWN UNTIL I SAY YOU CAN GO.
O

G
I'm pretty sure you can feel my rage jump off this page.
So, now my voice is raised and still standing I say, what did you say to me?! Are you seriously talking to me this way? This is your business model to give gifts w no obligation to buy. So if I was even considering buying your product in the future, I will DEFINITELY never buy it now and I continue ranting.
He doesn't bring his dumb face around me again after that and miraculously the next rep comes to relieve me of this misery.
He asks me how my day is going, and I calmly say everything was fine but that guy is a jerk off. The rep chuckles and I say, you know it's true. He says, yes but I just haven't heard it put that way.
So I know this guy's job is to be the final closer to get me to buy a smaller package. But he didn't even bring it up he just asked me what happened. What a good guy (the other guy should learn to read the room). He suggested that I file a complaint at the booth when I check out. I didn't wanna waste anymore time there but he said, if no one says anything then that guy will keep doing it and nothing will change.
Ok, you're right, you're right.... So I go to check out and get my goodies and she asks me to fill out a little exit survey asking me how the experience was and I wrote a few words. She actually reads it and asks me to write it out in detail so she can send it up the chain.
Will that really happen? Will he even get a slap on the wrist? Who knows. But I feel better letting them know my experience. And if they want to actually push product, they can still do it in a non shitty manner so people will feel good when they leave and will recommend them to all their friends.
And guess what Mr You're Banned From Touring Again, I've gotten email and calls from Wyndham offering more weekend getaways
I know where I'd go. Back to VegasHelpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 1Business owner information

Sep 9, 2023Previous reviewI absolutely do not recommend this place. Omg I have never been treated so rudely!!
Hey! I get it. The timeshare closer wants to ice me and make me wait at the table because I said repeatedly that I'm not buying. But wow.....
I was on my way to go get show tickets at the mgm. As I entered from the parking lot, there was a booth advertising discounted tickets. I'm uber frugal so I'm always open to hearing about a good deal. I agreed to do a 2 hour tour to get 4 show tickets for the price of 1. I even left to go check ticket prices at the ticket booth and Tix4Vegas before I agreed to the 2 hour timeshare tour. I was gonna spend the money anyway so this way I saved money, got a $25 Visa card, AND a 3 day stay for a future date somewhere else. And I wouldn't have to do a tour there cuz I was doing the one here in Vegas.
I told the marketer that I was absolutely not gonna buy I just want the tickets. And she said point blank, you don't have to buy. She claimed that she tours all the time and never buys. Now, I'm sure that was an exaggeration cuz they're not gonna let employees get the gifts but whatevs... I bought the tickets.
Oh ya, the marketer actually said she didn't care cuz she gets paid to book tours, she doesn't get anything if people buy or not.
I set up the tour for 8am the next morning cuz I wanted to get it out of the way.
When I walked in wearing my "not today" tee I told the greeter I'm not gonna buy. I didn't wanna be there. I just want the tickets. The next rep does the requisite chit chat, how'd you find us blah blah blah. I repeat myself, not gonna buy, didn't even wanna tour but just want tickets.
Next up is the presentation. The presenter did the best w what he had. That ended, the rep takes me back to her table. Brings the closer over and he really thinks highly of himself. Once he accepts that I mean what I say he says, since you're not gonna buy you get the 3 hour tour. I said no, I'm out at 2. He gets in my face and says, why are you on this tour if you're not gonna buy? Tells me to promise that I'll never tour again and I'm banned for the future. To which I say, I didn't even wanna be on this tour!
Like, don't piss me off dude cuz then the niceties go away and I will be loud and make people uncomfortable. I don't have anything to lose, he does if the other people see a scene. - Dec 5, 2022
I've been on my Arizona and Utah trip for 9 days now (please note this was back in July 2022). My last stop was at Worldmark (WM) Las Vegas for one night before heading home the next day. There wasn't much time to do anything else, but to rest and get ready to drive home.
WM Las Vegas is a wonderful and lovely resort. It consists of multiple buildings. It has lots of amenities such as huge swimming pools, children's play area, fitness center, business center, on-site market, etc. I've been here many times over the last 22 years as a WM owner. WM has 3 resorts in Las Vegas. This one is my favorite resort of them three.
Staff was nice and friendly. Check-in was easy and quick. Got my unit key, drove to Building 9, parked my car in the garage, got to the 2nd floor studio unit, unpacked, showered, and went to bed shortly afterwards. Studio unit was perfect for me... good size and murphy bed was very comfortable. I drove for 10+ hours that day so I was very tired, hence, I moved very swiftly to get to sleep that evening LOL. Check-out was also easy and quick.
Of course, they offered me a WM owner's update. I couldn't turn down another session of excitement so my answer was yes to the presentation on the day of check-out. However, my answer was still no on buying more WM credits. No cigar folks! But thank you for your time sales and for the wonderful gift. I appreciate it!
Come and stay at WM Las Vegas! It's the place to be in the city that never sleeps... till we meet again Las Vegas...Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - May 26, 2023
Been coming to this location for about 6 years. After several hours on the road, once we check in we head to the lazy river pool to relax. Then the hot tub has great jets for your back and feet.
Don't get sucked into the presentation they give if you're asked. Not worth the time and a free gift.
The room is clean but needs free wifi and a portal to charge your phone. The fact, there is an outdoor terrace is a plus.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Went here for a timeshare presentation and had to fight to leave. They took us to salesman after salesman because they wouldn't take no for an answer. They took our information and put a hard inquiry on our credit reports after telling us there would be no credit checks. These people lie and manipulate you, stay far away.
