Eh, this place is ok. Just ok. Their salmon is a little too dry for my liking. Their teriyaki chicken tastes a little interesting to me. The sauce they use to marinate the chicken with tastes different from what I'm used to. Their spam musubi with avocado isn't mind-blowing tasting either. Their vegetable yakisoba noodles were the only item in my lunch that I enjoyed the most.
I dunno, but maybe I ordered the wrong items??? Whatever the reason, I'm probably not gonna go back for a while.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ruth L.Seattle, WA49514892Dec 5, 2019
I ordered the Korean beef & rice with avocado spam musubi from World Fresh Eatery via Ritual, and oh my goodness this meal was so delicious.
The Korean beef is perfectly seasoned and cooked. The portion size was filling. The avocado spam musubi was refreshing and filling at the same time. I feel like it's relatively difficult to get good spam musubi in the downtown Seattle area, let alone avocado spam musubi, so I'm definitely grateful for World Fresh Eatery.
I haven't tried the by-weight buffet options yet, but they look delicious and fresh. I plan to return to try this!
Love the location, as it's really close to many workplaces in downtown Seattle. Just a quick walk from my office near Pike Place Market.
The seating area is nice for both group lunches and solo meals.
Overall, highly recommend.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 174467110Feb 7, 2018
Love this place. I tend to go there often during their happy hour pricing at 2:30 pm to fill a container to take home for dinner or for tomorrow's lunches. Produce is always still fresh and crisp and the hot mains are still fun to chose from and delicious. I can leave with a full box of salad for less than $5 which makes me happy! Friendly staff work here too which is always a plus.

Quick description: World Fresh Eatery is a buffet-style, create-your-own salad shop in the heart of Seattle's Business District. They have a variety of greens, vegetables, and basically anything else you could imagine to top a salad with. On top of that, World Fresh offers a variety asian fusion dishes, including but not limited to (I could go through literally everything they offer but I won't): General Tso's chicken, yakisoba/chow mein, fried rice, yellow curry, potstickers, spicy and regular teriyaki chicken, and pajeon (korean vegetable pancakes). They also have two different hot tofu dishes which I occasionally dabble in.
In the 3 and 1/2 years since I began working at a law-firm across the street, I have eaten lunch at World Fresh literally hundreds of times. Whether I get an early lunch before noon or cheap out and eat during their 50%-off Happy Hour from 2:30-3:00, I can guarantee that the spinach is always fresh, cucumber salad always yummy, and yakisoba/General Tso's chicken always on-point.
Pricing note: from open until 2:30 p.m., their food costs $6.49/lbs.. I can get a fairly hefty salad for usually $7-8; but from 2:30 p.m. until they close at 3:00 p.m., World Fresh charges half-price, and one can usually eat until they're full for about $5.00.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Fefe L.Seattle, WA2122335Feb 6, 2018
Great place in downtown for a quick and cheap lunch. It's buffet style and they charge you based on the weight.
Tip: the price is half off from 2:30 until they close.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Tina Y.Seattle, WA253129272Apr 15, 2015
This was my first time at WFAE. It was a pleasant visit. It's located right on 3rd and University, which is extremely convenient for people who work right around to grab lunch. It's buffet style, so you pick the items that you want, and then you pay by the weight. I believe its $6.59, pretty good deal if you ask me! They have a combination of different kind of cuisines, from Chinese, Japanese to Korean as well as a wonderful salad bar for anyone looking to get in their veggies. Some of my favorites were:
-the salmon
-chicken breast salad
-orange chicken
-some sort of asian noodle pasta that idk the name of.
-salad bar (very fresh!)
They seem to refill the food pretty quickly, which is great and appreciated. Everything tasted yummy, and I would definitely try to come back whenever I'm around 3rd Ave.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sarah A.Snoqualmie, WA81106Apr 3, 2014
Today I was eating my lunch from World Fresh and suddenly realized something was not right with my tuna. I immediately spit out a nasty used band aid!!!
This was one of the most horrifying experiences of my life. I have never been more disgusted. Obviously this establishment does not use gloves when preparing their food, which brings up serious health concerns for me.
The worst part was when I took the band aid back across the street to show the owner, his response was a nonchalant, "Oh, so sorry." That's it.
World Fresh is right across the street from my office and I used to go there frequently. Now I will be sure to tell my co-workers and other building tenants about this horrible experience, to make sure they do not patronize this business again, either.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Winnie S.Seattle, WA181Jul 22, 2015
This is my go to spot for lunch! It is located right next to Jimmy Johns on 3rd. I love the variety of food. Good salad bar choices, fruit, some sushi, and and awesome selection in the cold and hot food bar. Love the poke and avocado salad!
Everything is so fresh and the staff is always replenishing the food bars. Lobby is always full, but don't let that deter you from coming in, by the time I get my food, a table usually opens up.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Kat L.Seattle, WA129366537Nov 4, 2012
My coworker recommended this place as one of the best salad buffets near our work in the financial district. It's a really hard to miss hole in the wall next to Pegasus Cafe and it's easily confused with Market Fresh which has tons of locations downtown. They open at 11, which is when I take my lunch. I always try to wait till a about 11:30 because they don't always have everything out by 11.
World Fresh Asian Eatery not only has salad and a wide selection of salad toppings, they have Chinese & Korean food, hence the name Asian Eatery. It's a wide range of food. Some of my favorites include the seasoned kale, sweet potato noodle, bulgogi, spicy pork, & egg rolls!
The price is determined by weight. $6.29 per pound. It's pricier than other similar places, but so worth it.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Mike S.Federal Way, WA011Dec 13, 2016
I work in downtown and having a one hour lunch means finding a dining option that is quick, reliable and delicious. World fresh is just that. The food is ready as you enter and presented in a buffet-fashion set up so that you can choose from a wide variety of options ranging from cold foods to hot foods. Each option has proven to be tasty.
I have consistently entered, selected my food, paid and started eating in less than 10 minutes. Choosing World Fresh means maximizing your lunch hour without having to spend your entire lunch break waiting for your food to be prepared.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
