One of my favorite restaurants in Denver. The service is great and everything is so good! I also love that they have pictures for every item on their menu. Just wish they had a version of the menu online. Their portions are quite large and meant to be eating family style.
CAMBODIAN SOUP - this is my favorite item on the menu. It's a sour and spicy soup with watercress, beef chunks and beef tripe. It packs so much flavor and pairs perfectly with rice.
STIR FRIED WATERCRESS - I don't know how they are able to make a plate of vegetables so good but I always order this version as well, without the pork. It's saucy, garlicky, salty, savory. Also pairs perfectly with rice!
FRIED RICE WITH SHRIMP PASTE - I've ordered this twice and it's been a bit inconsistent. But the first time I ordered this, it was probably one of the best fried rices I've tried. The shrimp paste added so much flavor to the rice. It was a bit bland the second time but I'm hoping it was just an off day.
My friends have tried the fried lort, lad and, wings, and papaya salad and they all loved them as well. Really can't go wrong with anything on the menuHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Emily M.Denver, CO04138Feb 4, 2024
I was not expecting this food to be this good. I have been struggling to find good Chinese in Denver and this might be my new number two place. Excellent selection and flavor was top notch. Smaller restaurant and could use a menu upgrade for
Take out. Don't miss the hot and sour soup, potstickers and chili pork entreeHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jul 9, 2023
A friend recommended this place to me and I finally got around to going. The food had decent flavor, and the portions were quite large for the price (which I'm am a big fan of). Would come back for sure but probably try new dishes my friend suggested (Lad Na & Lemongrass Chicken Wings). They were also able to accommodate onion and garlic allergies for someone in my party, so that was also a win.
3/5 Szechuan chicken wings (medium spice): these were not spicy at all and were more sweet, my friend thought it tasted like BBQ, though I didn't
3/5 Hunan Chicken (medium spice), no spicy and a basic brown sauce
4/5 Lemongrass Chicken (medium spice): good flavor and variety of vegetables
4/5 Lemongrass Pork (mild spice): good variety of vegetables, tasted fresh
5/5 Price+QuantityHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 2 - 8565110Oct 21, 2023
Woodys wings and things has been in the neighborhood forever. They very rarely raise their prices, and I very rarely have noticed any changes in their product their food.
The only thing that they don't have that I wish they did would be the delivery they still don't do delivery but sometimes it's just worth it to get in the car and go down there and drive pick up what you want they even have alcohol beverages on site. Service is really good. They're always on top of their jobs making sure that the tables are nice and clean in the booths the bathrooms everything spectacularly clean pretty awesome to go in there and just watch a little bit of TV and chill and you never know who you might be in there.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 1 - Long N.Oklahoma City, OK23622Mar 24, 2024
If you are new to Colorado and trying to find good Asian food near Westminster, check out this place. The service and owner are amiable, and the food was bussin'. It's very affordable as well. The restaurant also feels like home--the amenity.

Don't let the name of this restaurant fool you! They serve up some of the best Southeast Asian cuisine in the area. We were in Denver for a day and made it a point to stop by here for lunch. We ordered the stir fried long beans with crispy pork belly, beef lad na, and the Thai wings. Everything came out piping hot and was delicious. The wings were cripsy, juicy, and very flavorful. The beef lad na had the perfect consistency and flavor. The stir fry paired well with steamed white rice. It was a very enjoyable meal and hit the spot after a long day of driving.
One thing I thought that was weird was their menu. It was the size of a dictionary and did not list any prices. They could've charged us any random price but I'm sure it came out correctly. All of this food was about $40, so it seemed fair. I highly recommend giving this place a try if you're looking for authentic Southeast Asian cuisine.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 1 - 127033523287Nov 22, 2022
With FOTM so close to where I live, it was an adventure driving out to Westminster just to try the wings at Woody's. My friend and I were seated right away, which was surprise given how busy they were. We felt enamored by the hot soups being carried by us, swearing we'd come back someday while recovering from a hangover.
Nonetheless, we ordered some sides (fries and jalapeño poppers that turned out to be dry and overcooked) and each got a pound of buffalo hot wings. The wings were phenomenal. They were SWIMMING in spicy sauce. My mouth waters from writing this review, but it was NOT a cute sight to watch me devour the entire plate. My friend wasn't as much of a fan of the wings, but perhaps that's just a difference in preference.
The wings definitely saved this review, and I'd go out of my way to eat them again. Not the sides, though. I'm curious to try the actual Chinese food. Their menus are outdated and gross to flip through, but there's something authentic about that. Plenty of parking in the area. Like most Chinese restaurants, this would be great for a group. Will be back for dem wings!!Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 1 - Nem C.Aurora, CO0111Apr 11, 2024
Authentic and delicious Cambodian food with a mixture of other southeast Asian dishes. Service was friendly and fast. Only suggestion is to update the restaurant a bit.

After a fun long day of painting, my niece and I were so hungry and pigged out on our yummy foods together at this place! Lol We for our favorites fried tofu, crab cheese wontons, chicken pad se eew, and tofu pad thai. Oh my gosh, these foods hit our food cravings and we were in heaven. Everything tasted so good and we were making sounds with every bite cause we were in heaven. Lol. We did not finish everything and did pack the leftovers home. We only finished the crab cheese wontons. This was definitely an Aunty and niece kinda day for sure! Lol. We love this place and they make the most delicious foods here. A 10 for their fried tofu that we always get here.

I ordered the pork belly with Chinese broccoli, the tofu stir fry, and the fried tofu. This is one of my family's favorite places to dine from time to time. They make such delicious food here. Don't let the restaurant name fool you.
