We specialize in designing, building and installing custom cabinetry in Southern California. We offer a variety of woods and over 40 stains and colors to select from. From luxurious kitchen cabinets, to built in entertainment centers and home offices, we offer custom cabinets for every room of your home. We even do closets and garage cabinets to help you get and stay organized. Our cabinet process is unique. We come to your home, and using a 3D CAD program, design your cabinets while you watch. You'll see them come to life before they're ever built. From there, we build them in our huge Southern California factory. (That's right - we ARE the factory!) Finally, we install your custom cabinets, with most jobs taking less then 1 day. We love to say that we make custom cabinetry easy because we take care of everything, from start to finish. Outstanding customer service is our priority and you can count on us to get the job done right.

Woodwork Creations landed the job of buiilding my entertainment center for one main reason: they understood my vision and translated my rough design into a workable one that they crafted and installed to perfection. They were also very patient, since it took about three years from my first approaching them until we signed the contract and the work commenced. Their sales representative was experienced, able, and adept in executing my design and suggesting finishing options, and patiently working with me every step of the way to produce a fine, lasting result.
Once the entertainment center contract was signed, I decided to let WC design and build a walk-thru closet in my master bath. In both products, minor glitches occurred along the way, but nothing to lessen my confidence in WC's ability to get the jobs done to eventual perfection, which they did on both. In fact, they shaved a bit off the final bill as a result of the delay, which was as unexpected as it was appreciated, since projects as ambitious as mine do not come cheap.
WC's employees regularly showed up as scheduled, and they consistently confirmed their appointments a day or two before, and were flexible when I could not be. Their contracts adhered to state law and they were flexible in seeking and processing payments. They were clean, courteous and professional, and even rerouted some wiring in my e-center for me after the jobs were done, and provided me with some scrap pieces of wood from my project for my use in building a custom lamp, which is a perfect complement to the e-center.
In sum, highest recommendation, and I would not hesitate to use them again.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Gerry and Michelle T.Rockledge, FL022Mar 15, 2015
Work is average at best. Prices are also average. Sales people are completely unorganized and can't get anything right. Installers are in a rush and don't pay attention to detail and do bad work.
Have bought from them twice and have never had a follow up phone call. Won't ever use them again.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Joseph E.Jacksonville, NC182714Aug 31, 2013
Can't be happier with my new entertainment center built by Woodwork Creation. From start to finish Paul took care of everything and took into consideration our concerns. Can't wait for football season to start so i can enjoy my new center and watch my team the Patriots.

Given the phone was not answering for weeks, we drove today all the way to their offices/showroom in Perris: We found out THEY ARE CLOSED FOR GOOD :(
Unfortunate, we had seen their work and it was beautiful!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Myke T.San Diego, CA348156Apr 24, 2012Updated review
Since my last post about the review I have raised my one star review to a three star review. They called back and said they would make it right with no additional charge. I really wished they would have settled this without hassle but at least they resolved the issue. By the way, my review was not about the quality of their wood work. It's excellent. We are happy with our new media niche.

We are happy to report that the customers, Myke and Mary, are satisfied with their new cabinetry. Our engineer contacted the customers immediately to start the redesign of the cabinetry in their home. Once the designs were signed off by the customer, we built and installed the cabinetry, just the way Myke and Mary had hoped. Here is a personal note from Mary:
Hi Izzy,
I just want to thank you for helping me with my cabinet. It was a pleasure dealing with you directly because there are no confusion or problem with my order. I've inspected the cabinet and so far it looks good. I haven't put my heavy Trinitron television on top yet because we have to get people to help us. It takes two or three people to lift this tv up. Anyway, hopefully it hold up this tv as you said you put an extra reinforcement.
Once again, thank you.
Regards,Mary

Believe it or not, I have used them before and it went very smooth in the past. We spent over $3,600.00 on our first media niche. Anyhow, we called them again and a rep came to the house and took specific measurements because we have a bigger area in our master bedroom. We also have a 250lb Trinitron Sony tube tv and this is where it takes a turn.
My wife and I specifically want to keep the TV because it's really too heavy to bring down the stairs and don't want to buy a new flat screen for no reason. Anyhow, my wife told the rep specifically she wanted the media niche 24" deep so the tube tv can fit properly. Well after waiting 3 weeks, it arrived. The installers had to cut our base board and drill holes in the wall to keep in place. Which is fine but just before they add the top, my wife notices the cabinet isn't deep enough. She calls the rep and asks why is the media niche not deep enough? He replies, "well in order for you to meet your budget, I ordered you the Value Series, because the one you want would cost more." WHAT???!!!! Why didn't he tell us this when we were going over it??!! Also we did get a design with dimensions but there is no where on the paperwork specifically saying this cabinet was ONLY 16" deep. However it does say it in code! I'm not exaggerating either.
The rep, {Paul} honestly knew my wife told him to build the media niche 24" deep but he failed to mention it would cost extra. Instead of being honest and letting us know, he ignored the measurements and gave us the "standard" flat screen dimensions. Which is only 16" deep. A no go of course. He also failed to tell his boss the truth about him being aware of our specific dimensions. Either he completely spaced out or was trying to save a sale by not telling us the truth and HOPING we would accept it.
My wife then gets a hold of the general manager named, Debbie. Unfortunately it gets even worse from here. As a manager, you are suppose to help resolve situations, not make them worse. Without concern, sympathy or being a bit comforting about the mix up, she points out that we signed off on the paperwork. Okay, yes we did but as I mentioned, it was not clear as day. Nor ANY of my friends could tell me where on the drawing and sketch how deep the media niche was. Still, without any change of attitude, Debbie says if you want the depth of the cabinet changed, you will have to pay an extra $1,300.00!!! What??!!! Are you kidding me? We mention we are return customers and this isn't right. She had no care in the world to help us. She replies, do you want it or not? If not, I will send my guys to pick the bottom half up. My wife and her go at it and argue for a bit more and the conversation comes to a dead end with no resolution. My wife calls back and leaves and message. Next day, no return call. So then I call and ask what's the deal. I said I want to compromise here. She said, yeah, either take the cabinet as we built it or we will pick up the bottom half. Okay, I get into it with her as well. Her options for me were; A) pay the EXTRA $1300.00 for the 24" deep dimensions. B) Take back the wrong one they brought in the first place or C) They pick the bottom half they started. So I said come get it! Then she changes her mind and says, I don't want to send my guys there because she doesn't feel comfortable. What??!!! So you see this is what I am dealing with. Yes I gave a deposit and yes we already cancelled the credit card. So when she gets off her high horse, she can send her guys to come get the cabinet and fix my base board and holes in my wall too. Good luck and I hope my long and detailed review helps anyone think twice about using this company. But maybe it will do a lot of good for Woodwork and learn a big lesson about customer service. - Danielle D.Boca Raton, FL0458May 15, 2014
Worst customer service ever. Building a custom home, looking for custom cabinets for the entire project. I called and emailed two different people. Sherry spoke to me initially. I sent her our plans from the architect. She said she would get back to me with some ideas. I called the company after I didn't hear back four days later, and went through the same conversation with Shannon, another rep. I sent the plans again. For some reason, they get the plans on their CELL phones not a computer. He reference the company as being REBORN Cabinets, NOT Woodwork creations (accidentally). I got an email saying he would look at it and get back to me. Four days later - still haven't heard a word. This is a twelve thousand square foot home. Terrible customer service. I would never use them.

I had a multiuse media niche and 2 office spaces created by Woodworks. Jim the designer did a great job listening to our needs and designed for us exactly what we wanted. The install crew lead by Manny was on time, very professional and efficient. Woodworks is pricey but the quality and service were outstanding. I'm glad I used them for my project.

I purchased a large screen HD TV and had a media niche installed with installation included in the package. The installers installed the TV but did not install a HDMI cable. How can we watch in HDTV if installers decide to use a regular cable?
Make sure you have that in your contract when dealing with these company since it looks like they subcontract their installation.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0
