Wogies Bar and Grill

I had heard good things about the Philly cheesesteaks at Wogies and had to give them a try! We ordered takeout on a Tuesday night, and showed up right around our pick-up window. The place was empty except for just one table, and there was only one person. After just a short wait, we picked up our food and were on our way.

The cheesesteak is as good as they say! They bread was soft, the meat +onions/cheese were tasty, and it was a decent size for $16! We also had to try their Italian garbage bread and waffle fries, both of which were also quite good! We'd like to come back either to eat-in or for a beer to check out the vibes.

A hidden gem! Underground with great character/decor. Classic brick walls, booths, darts and a great bar! Our group invaded the place Saturday night and Chris, the bartender, was the bomb! He served everyone and kept his cool. Best bartender ever!! I recommend the gin limeade and The Don!!

Went there thanks to the good reviews from yelp. I had high expectations for Wogies but I was very disappointed. Wondering if it was just a bad day. Or if there was a management change.

We ordered philly cheesesteaks and pork sandwiches. They tasted like cardboard, unfortunately. On the other hand, the waffle fries where great and I strongly recommend them.

Will not come back.

Great sandwiches, wings, cinnamon rolls, and service! Bartender that waited on us Sunday is super friendly and welcoming. It's more than just a sports bar. :)

Cool Philly bar. Had the best philly cheesesteak I've ever had at this spot. Good selection of beer and the bar tender was very good

They do elite justice with sandwich's , but them wings for the wildlife .

Thoroughly enjoyed the atomic sandwich more than I would have thought. The price point was also great, something that you don't always find in this area. If you aren't looking for this place, you may never notice it, but I hope after seeing this review more people will try it out. I will venture back one day and try out some of their other food.

I usually always just order for delivery at this place. But I decided to actually take a walk and dine in.
Walking into the place it's spacious and has a good amount of seating. I was able to get a table right away and our waitress was attentive and helped us out right away. That's a big plus.
Ordered 2 Philly cheesesteaks one with cheese whiz and onions and one with provolone and onions. We also ordered a side of waffle fries and I wanted to get a extra side of gravy. (Tip: Get the Gravy. Just trust me)
Everything came out at a reasonable time, no complaints with our food and everything was good as it was. Cheesesteaks with perfectly grilled onions and cheese dripping down the sides, who can complain ?

Yet another joint I've walked past 900 times. Finally went recently. It was...different. The food choices were interesting, it's a Philly-inspired sports bar...IMO Philly isn't really known for it's cuisine. But it's what you'd expect: bar food, greasy stuff and cheesesteaks. Except their cheesesteaks aren't in the traditional sense. I got mine on a BED OF WAFFLE FRIES. You can get the regular one on bread. But I think where I come from, if you have the chance to get waffle fries, you get the damn waffle fries.

They had a decent selection of beer. Something for the craft crowd and your regular schmoe beer drinker. I don't live in the area, nor work there anymore. But if I was around, I'd definitely go again.

The Buffalo Chicken Cheesesteak was delicious and really hit the spot on a Sunday after a night out. If you're a Philadelphia Eagles fan, this bar is super fun for Eagles games. Electric vibes on game day. Affordable and the bartenders were attentive.
