I was looking for something private and specific. But I couldn't bring myself to get past the front door! Dirty gross outside. A drifter man was asleep a few feet away. I think he was secretly watching me with one eye open. Whatever! I had my eye on him too!! But it all seemed deserted stinky. I tried to peek through to see if I could satisfy my curiosity enough but WRONG! The search continues for this homie! Little friend wanted to take a chance. I didn't want to take my chances just to be let down. Plus, I hear you can't make no returns. What would I do then? Not my money being wasted!

I needed a wig for my alter ego, so I decided to stop by the shadiest wig store in Downtown for kicks. The asian man who owns the store creeps me the hell out, and so does his dad. They offer a vast selection of hair stuff in the store, weaves, hair pieces, and extensions. It was kind of pricey, I should have just went to Secrets or Granadas but I needed a wig later that night so it had to do. I'd check out other places before I go here though.

This is my go-to place for buying hair for my extensions. I've been getting extensions on and off for the last 2 years here in San Diego, and after buying from multiple vendors, this place is the best. True, it's located on Broadway in a somewhat sketchy place, BUT, the family that runs it is super helpful and knows their clientele. The owner said he had been there for about 20 years! They are really helpful too. But best of all, the Bohyme hair (the best type) sold here is SO much more reasonably priced and is in perfect condition. I'm getting my extensions put back in tomorrow and I first went to Hair Plus in Misison Valley to look at their selection of Bohyme hair extensions. OMG, they charged soooo much more. They didn't even appear to have 16 inches, and the 14 inch was priced at about $130 of $140. BUT, Wigs Plus had many more colors available AND he was able to sell me the same 14 inch extensions as Hair Plus but for $89 instead of $130. I ended up getting a bundled weft of 16 inch Bohyme for only $100! Perhaps this is standard, but this place has always left me satisfied.

Ill try my chances online? I've been going here for a LONG time and after getting a bad batch of expensive Bohyme hair I went back to show the owner. He made these excuses to why it was tangling up but I didn't buy it. I've bought this brand for any years and NEVER had tangling like this! He didn't seem to care and didn't even offer a discount to buy a new pack! I'm not comming back here anymore.

Lost a star because he was 15 min late to open the store and I had just started to leave as he showed up. I am glad I doubled back. It is a tiny store with a good selection for the space. Has more extension products than wigs but has many human hair wig options proportionate to its wig selection which is nice. Very limited in colored (costume) wigs. The guy was very, nice and helpful and even pointed me to the store that did carry what I needed when he realized he didn't have it (extra long foam wig head).
