One of the many cab companies in the city, the drivers I have had have all been pleasant.

CAUTION to wheelchair customers living in the greater, surrounding Las Vegas area. Wheelchair units are very limited and drivers get to 'pick their calls'.
I live in the Centennial area and it took almost an hour before they found a unit to pickup--but this isn't the worst. I also, AT THE SAME TIME, scheduled my return-roundtrip. I waited THREE HOURS and called MULTIBLE times (to Whittlesea and others) being told they had no units in the area to bring me back home. I BEGGED and was horrified that Whittlesea would leave their 71 y/o wheelchair customer stranded! They said they could not require a unit/driver from elsewhere to come and return me home safely. Luckily, I lived less than 8 miles away, so I 'scooter' myself home with a one hour pitstop at Walmart to recharge my wheelchair battery--my heart was in my throat.
So BEWARE, these wheelchair taxi services (all of them) don't guarantee to get you back home.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Peter C.Pasadena, CA5220212Dec 11, 2023
Took a cab from the Holiday Inn Express on East Tropicana to the Sphere to see U2. The hotel called the taxi for me at 5:45 but it didn't arrive at 6:15. Soft spoken gentleman was driving. Tried to drop us off at the Sphere but was directed to the Venetian Expo Center. He had to make a left on Sands from Koval and then a left across four lanes of Sands Ave. but did it safely. Made it there by 6:35. Less than $25 with tip.
Car was clean and was glad you can pay with a credit card now instead of worrying about having enough change to cover the fare and tip.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kerry K.Troy, MI2703Mar 2, 2024

I left my cell phone in a cab from this company a few weeks ago. I called and the cab driver (Beniam) held onto it for me and saved it for the next time I visited Vegas (see photo of when I was picking it up from him today). He drove to the Mirage where I was staying to personally drop it off to me. What an honest cab driver!! I appreciate Whittlesea for employing ethical people. Beniam deserves a bonus for being a standup human being. Thanks, Beniam!

At the end of our ride, the driver told us she didn't accept credit cards. It felt like a scam--and she should have told us that up front.

I mde the mistake of losing his card so I had to call his company they told me he was working but he could not come get me so they wanted to send another driver . I said no I won't barrn I know he is working my I please request him? Again I was told no and they sent me a differrent driver. My ride averages $50 to $62 one way depending on traffic, the driver showed up and I asked him about barren luckily he was a friend of barren and called him and told him o come to my hotel. Barren arrived I told him what happened I gave the other driver $20 for his help , honesty and wasted time. I asked barren why his company did this he told me "I'm sorry I dont know" I told him I believe your company wants you to lose money and quit or they are trying to self-terminate you....barren looked at me and he nodded and I knew it was true. To the supervisor that tried to kep me fom using barren his name was Eric , he was a rude , ignorant bully of a man and I have filed a compliant with the T.A ,Whittlesea and the B.B.B. I will never use Whittlesea again and I have told barren he make pick me up in his own personal vehicle and I will pay him or the ride the usual cost. It may not be ÜBER but barren will get the money and. Whittlesea never will...... And if Whittlesea is reading this I take 4 rides every weekend from the airport to red rock resort back and forth , also back and forth from red rock to primm. This money you will never see again from myself or any person I refer to barren. To the owner of Whittlesea a Mr. Brent Bell your company disgusts me and I hope barren finds employment elsewhere
Nov 30, 2012Previous reviewI recently flew to las vegas as I always do bi-monthly and flew into the new terminal . Now I know that the tunnel is the longer and more expensive way but I always let the cab driver make his own decision which way to go I pay the normal price either way so he either gets a nice tip or he has to pay the excess meter fee himself. I was loaded into a WHITTLSEA BLUE CAB and my driver (barren) loaded my bags correctly and carefully and was a nice guy about doing it since I am a senior citizen. As we were approaching the tunnel entrance he took the street exit and I asked him why? He replied "The tunnel is a tad bit faster but more expensive" He was the first driver that told me the truth and was honest so we arrived at the hotel I gave him $50 for the $18 ride told him honesty always pays and thank you for being a good cab driver. I hope I always get Barren or a WBC driver.
