What's the Catch

Recently, we had a chance for lunch from "What's the Catch" food truck...since I am not big on seafood...I had the fried chicken tenders...delicious!...

They were courteous and friendly...enjoyed truck logo...good ambiance...

I had the pleasure of grabbing a bite here this past weekend.

The staff was super nice! From beginning of order to grabbing my food was maybe 10 minutes. That is fast!

I ordered the Old Bay Shrimp Basket. I wanted tacos, but as a Marylander, it is really hard to say no to Old Bay.

The shrimp was tasty, the fries were well seasoned, but the true star was the spicy signature dipping sauce. It was spicy but not too much so. This food truck is worth another visit for sure.

When a couple of VPs of your company stop by for a visit, a catered lunch usually follows.

@whatsthecatchfoodtruck was a HUGE hit with the office crew. Multiple thumbs up as I walked around and asked how everyone was enjoying the food.

Found this cool Air Stream Food Trailer parked at the community center in my neighborhood when leaving the pool. It had a nice size line in front so had to check out the vibe. Saw they were serving seafood tacos and the menu was super welcoming. I figured I would get one and try it by the pool.
That Ahi Tuna Taco was so good I came back and got another 2 and the fried shrimp basket! Do your self a favor and check them out. Totally worth the "experience"

Easily one of my favorite food trucks in Jacksonville so far.

The seared tuna is in long succulent strips. The mahi in the first street taco is perfectly grilled. However, what's equally important is the pineapple mango salsa, as well as the Peruvian sauce and pico de gallo with the mahi. It offers the intense umami contrast that I often crave.

You can get even more of that appetizing sourness if you get the cucumber salad as a side instead of fries.

What a great find at TPC yesterday. The Spicey Ahi Tuna Tacos were were great and well prepared. Food prepared in reasonable time at fair price. Great service, given the crowd.

Had their great seafood two different times & it never disappoints.

Just enjoyed the 1st Street mahi tacos- so good. Ingredients were all very fresh and tasty and looks like they had so many other items on the menu as well. Polite staff as well. I'd definitely visit this truck again and would possibly even seek them out in the future from their social media posts.

This is absolutely my favorite food truck hands down, I seek them out anytime I am in town. The problem is it seems lately it is harder and harder to seek them out or look at the schedule on the website because it is rarely ever updated. I would love to eat here all the time I just hardly ever know where they will be.

Great staff and food! Love the pineapple salsa! Never disappointed! I'm in love with the key west and island shrimp tacos, must try!
