About the Business
Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, "What a burger!" He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, "Whataburger." Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

My husband and I stopped by this afternoon with our toddler and infant. We were greeted by 3 different staff members within minutes of walking in. The manager Tra asked us how we were doing and checked in on us 4 different times. He even delivered our food to our table. Another team member brought us a high chair without even being asked to do so. The entire place was clean, the food was great but the Whataburger team made our out of town lunch experience memorable. I had to download the yelp app just make sure to say thank you to The staff at Whataburger #300 in Sinton.

I came here late Friday night during a relay race lasting over 24 hours. I ordered a meal that was given to me with eggs and sausage. It was missing pancakes which obviously would have occupied the gaping space on the Styrofoam plate.
The teenager occupying the register had a chair that he would sit in when there were no customers. Some other members of my group also complained about how sloppily run this Whataburger was.
I guess small town fast food restaurants have lower standards.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - OldMan B.Sinton, TX07Aug 21, 2015
This location just doesn't have the "heart".
Customer service is lacking as is the food quality.
On the other hand, want to have EXCELLENT customer service and great/hot food, go to the Taft Whataburger.
They know how to do it!
Strange how management style affects customers service and great food. They need to take lessons from the Taft locationHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Matt C.Aransas Pass, TX15911Sep 25, 2017
Came here Saturday evening, went inside to order, it took forever for my order to be prepared (I'm usually ok with that, it means fresh food) when my food arrived the burger was a little dry as far as the meat goes, but the fries were fresh employees were courteous and I left somewhat happy.

Most of the time they make your food the way you want but they always seem to mess it up or forget to put something in your bag

Honestly I eat here a lot I like the food ! It's not always common to find good burgers . They may be chisty with the gravy but the food is good , the lines are always there and they have good workers

Stopped by for a quick bite on our way to S. Padre. Lunch was hot and fresh - no complaints. Restrooms were clean, too.

I was shocked how great the PR was. When I returned to South Texas I stopped here and had some of the best service I've had at many Whataburgers I went to. Considering how good the service is at Whataburgers in general it can be tough to separate one from another.
