Enjoyed a meal at Din Tai Fung and shopped for a bit. It's a beautiful mall with a ton of shopping and food options. However, parking is such a pain that I rarely go here despite all the great options. On the weekends it's $1 for every 15 mins ($4 per hour) that starts right when you enter the garage ( you do not get a free hour on the weekends). It took 15 mins just to park plus another 15-20 mins waiting for their elevators to and from the car (did not see the escalators or stairs). They should give at least 15-20 mins for free on the weekends due to it taking time to park and to walk to and from your car.
I paid $16 to park for a little over 3.5 hours. Very few of the restaurants and stores will validate, and if they do it's only valid during the validation period so if you go over that the validation is completely invalid.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

Hello Holly,
Thank you for your very thoughtful review of the center. We wanted to reach out because we have some tips regarding 2 of your concerns that could make your next visit better!
We agree our original lot below the mall can get crowded quickly. During the renovation we added 2500 parking spaces above the center accessible from Avenue of the Stars. If you enter there you will be whisked away to the rooftop.
For our rates, all of our parking incentives are through our Smart Parking App. The current promotion is in fact Complimentary Parking After 6pm for Smart Parkers. No validation is necessary. This amazing program allows you to enter and exit using your license plate and charges a card on file. There's no need to pull a ticket ever again. To sign up go to our website and click Register for Smart Parking.
We hope you'll give these tips a try and make us a 5 star on your next review. :)Feb 17, 2018Previous reviewI used to frequent this mall before the renovation because it wasn't as crazy as it is now, and in my opinion was completely fine before the renovation. They added new stores and places to eat, but also took some away that I enjoyed like Gulfstream.
Pros:
It's a very nice outdoor mall, and feels very upper class with it's new decor. It has a nice layout and is very modern. It is also very centrally located in Los Angeles. They have 3 anchor stores (Bloomingdales, Macy's, and Nordstrom's), which is rare to see. They also have a bunch of unique stores that you might not see everywhere like Urban Decay, AmazonBooks, Sugarfina, Compartes, Microsoft, Randy's Donuts. But they also have more typical mall stores like Banana Republic, J. Crew, NYX, Sephora, Cotton On, Francescas, Free People, Gap, H&M,Lush, Lululemon, Madewell, MAC. There are so many stores that you could spent a lot of time here just looking at all of them. I like the variety of stores here and is definitely have the best range of stores of malls in LA. Since its remodel, this has become the mall to visit in LA and will probably take awhile to die down.
Since the remodel there are new places to eat like CPK, Chick-fil-a, Chipotle, Eataly, Everytable, Shake Shack, Tender Greens along with a remodeled food court. You can definitely find a place to eat within this mall. Didn't attempt to eat at the food court or at Eataly because I knew it was going to be busy on a Saturday.
There is also an AMC movie theater but it hasn't been remodeled with the rest of the mall and their prices are pretty high ($16) for just standard seating and on Friday through Sunday movies you have to buy tickets in advance because they completely sell out. This AMC was a complete mess on a Saturday night, big line for the concession stand and movies were all sold out. So if you are planning to see a movie at AMC century city buy tickets ahead of time.
Cons:
Although I think this may be the best mall in Los Angeles in terms of food, stores, and entertainment there are some difficulties. The main problem with this mall is it's just difficult getting there because of the traffic getting to the lot and there is only one parking lot so it's madness just getting in. The madness doesn't end there, once you get into the lot it's kind of a free for all. The lot has 2 levels and is flat so there are cars coming from all directions and a lot of 4 way intersections and it makes it very slow to get around and keep track where you have been. The parking is difficult and stressful even though it seems like there are a bunch of spots. Don't expect parking to be quick and easy. The parking rates are also really high, you get one hour free but after parking that's only really 50 mins, and realistically how much can you get done in 50 minutes. I understand that they are in an area with offices and have to charge but they don't prorate the rates for after 5pm and even with validation from AMC or Bloomingdales you still aways end up paying no matter how much you spend at the stores. Also, you pretty much have 5 hours to eat, shop, or see a movie or else you will be paying $30 for parking. This seems a bit exuberant to charge that for 5 hours and over no matter how much validation you have or how much you have spent in the mall. This mall is not really a quick stop type mall and you can't really enjoy a movie, shops, and eat without going over the 5 hour limit so you can only really do 2 of those things to avoid paying the maximum. You can't really enjoy everything this mall has to offer and just enjoy your day in general because you're worried about the parking rate skyrocketing. - Mar 17, 2024
The good:
This mall is gorgeous and upscale with stores like Bloomingdale's, Rolex, American Girl dolls, Tesla and Nordstroms. I first came here for the free Grinch popup event which was spectacular. During that time, they had a Christmas market setup with cute shops and a Santa's letter drop off mail box as well as a Mrs. Claus's bake shop Where you could pay to meet her. They also had an awesome fake steak engine that spurt out steam every now and then. I came again for the Bluey Camp experience. The outdoor lounge chairs and furniture here are exquisite and high quality. They are architecturally beautiful and made of real woods and stone. There are so many good spots to eat here and a lot of outdoor seating options. There's also an Eataly. The family restrooms are clean, modern, spacious and convenient with lounge couches, a coffee table with toys, breast feeding rooms
And multiple diaper changing spaces. It's also pet friendly!
The bad:
You have to pay for parking in the structure.
The interesting:
You can see the Cyber Truck here on display at the Tesla store. They have a fenced off dog relief area upstairs by Bake Cheese Tarts. It has turf and a fake dog statue.Helpful 5Thanks 1Love this 5Oh no 0 - 48893904Mar 12, 202411 check-ins
There's something for everyone at this mall, even if you're not a big shopper. It's a dog friendly mall too, so bring your pup.
Live music on Sundays and eateries throughout the mall, not just the dining terrace or food court. Aside from the typical stores you find at a mall, like Bloomingdale's, Macy's, or H&M, there are also shops like The Container Store, Pop Mart, and several boutique shops. You can come for immersive experiences too, like an escape room or get your sweat on at Equinox or Orangetheory. Keep little ones busy at CAMP or a pretty cool outdoor playground with a tall climbing structure. Even grocery shop at markets like Eataly and Gelson's.
There really is a lot to do here and not just shop. It's clean and an aesthetically pleasing mall with several places to just sit and enjoy outdoors. In my opinion, the only downside is the parking. They offer valet, but if you're a self-parker, the first hour is free and depending on how long you stay, the parking fees can add up.Helpful 5Thanks 2Love this 5Oh no 0 - Mar 5, 2024
Westfield Century City is a sprawling shopping destination located in the heart of Los Angeles. While it boasts a luxurious atmosphere and an impressive selection of stores.
Beyond shopping, the mall offers a diverse selection of restaurants, cafes, and bars. Whether you're craving fine dining, casual eats, or a quick coffee fix, you're sure to find something to satisfy your taste buds.
But I confess, I don't come here for shopping but mostly for dining cuz they have a lot of good restaurants to choose from. Plus they always have free pop up events at the Atrium which I had been attending for many years.Helpful 11Thanks 4Love this 8Oh no 0 - Apr 22, 20241 check-in
The Westfield is super clean, nice, multipurpose Mall. It has many stores, restaurants, gym, gaming, coffee, spa, etc. We went here for Camp Bluey Experience and ended up walking the whole mall. Wonderful mall, with tons of parking. Highly recommend it!

Love love love this mall' absolutely my favorite. Many parking options with the opportunity to get free parking with validation at Gelsons with a $10 purchase.
Gelsons is like a Whole Foods but a bit cheaper in my opinion. I love yheir rustic bread options and pet section. The fruits and freshly pressed juices are the best. They have a pretty sweet bakery too. Def no brainer for any century visit!
The mall has pretty much all the stores you would look for, Bloomies, Macy's, Nordstrom's, aritzia... plant stores the list goes on! Also inclusive of a movie theatre. Food court is like all mall food courts but they do have a boba spot! Definitely my preference over Beverly center!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 26, 2024Updated review3 check-ins
These days, I'm only here during the Los Angeles Marathon. I have always found the parking garage to be very clean and well maintained. For some reason for this year, it took about 2 hours for me to exit the parking garage after running the marathon. It was not like this in prior years. Currently, the maximum cost to park here is $32. I don't do a whole lot of shopping these days, but I still love to eat! There are many restaurant options here, but my favorite place to eat here is Ramen Nagi. It was nice to eat a bowl of ramen right after running the marathon! It was also nice that they were doing free medal engraving down in the atrium. The restrooms were also clean and well maintained.
Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Jan 18, 2014Previous reviewIt was my first time here. I always love a good outdoor mall. My friend and I came here to watch a movie at the AMC theater. Parking was a breeze. It was one of those newer parking lots with ceiling lights that direct you to open spaces. They make finding a parking space so much more stress free! I thought that it was also marked well enough that it was very easy to figure out where you parked. There were several machines to pay for your parking before you returned to your car.
From walking from my car to the movie theater, I saw that there were many nice stores as well as restaurants that I'd probably like to check out. Everything looked well kept and clean.
