Wendy's

I don't like Wendy's for one reason. No self-serve beverages. I stopped by this one in Bridgeview at 2:30 in the afternoon. Usually the worst time if day. The lunch rush as ended and most of the key employees have been OTLE'd.

There was a guy mopping the floors big time and the restrooms were cleaner than a typical Wendy's.

The cashier was the manager. I felt badly because he was trying to cashier with one arm in a sling. He was personable and more efficient than most two-armed employees. There was still a food runner working, and she whisked all of the food to my tray with some level of glee.

I must not have been in a Wendy's in a while, because a couple of things caught my attention. I tasted actual potatoes in the French fries. Usually the dominant flavors are salt and oil.

The sandwich wrapping has changed. The sandwich is delivered vertically slightly open air. I like it. Most of the time, you get to the table and open the wax paper or clam shell and find your sandwich more disheveled than Gary Busey's hairdo.

This wrapping let's you see the condition of that sandwich you are about to enjoy, while in the view of management and staff. Mine looked like the ones on the menu photo.

Obviously, Wendy's has made some improvements, plus this is a better managed store.

Very unprofessional staff. When trying to place my order the girl at the window was going back and forth between the window and the counter inside joking with coworkers and other customers. She kept saying she was listening to me place my order, which was not the case as I am missing 3 items from my order. The food we did receive was poorly thrown together (burgers and chicken wraps).

Got the Parmesan Caesar salad ..... with no dressing. That's literally the best part... just sitting here disappointed and the last time I came they gave me all my food except for my sons , I would've preferred that they forgot mine not my poor kiddos

The person who takes the money is very unfriendly. I was there last Friday at around 6:30. Also, she took my money once before and did not give me the change which was owed to me. I could not get her attention as she was on her phone.
There are many choice of fast food places. Perhaps this person needs some information about customer service.
The people giving you the food are quite polite.

First you couldn't tell me if your fries and chicken nuggets contained any dairy, you told me to go online and look it up myself. Okay, I did. But pretty sure you could have easily found out for me. Then when we got our salad we found a spider in it. Gross!

They can't seem to listen to basic instructions please stay away and go somewhere else, this play is not worth your time.

Worst place to go for a late night snack, hours say open till 3am on a Friday night. we drove up to the drive through on a Friday night at 2:20am April 6, 2019 and all the workers were sitting around looking at their phones and completely ignoring us even after we tried getting their attention. This is completely unacceptable for a fast food chain. Very disappointed in Wendy's. Smh!!

Night service is absolutely terrible. Just came through drive through to get something to eat. I pulled up at 1:52am waiting for someone to answer me and take my order. After waiting for some time I called into the store and "Ethan" or whatever his name was said they close at 2am. When google says 3am. Even if they did close at 2 I should have been serviced regardless. He gave me attitude too that it would be a 10 min wait if he were to make anything. That is your job! If you don't like working in fast food work somewhere else. Also there was a car behind me waiting as well. Worst customer service I have ever received. Get a new night crew!

Wendy's has definitely changed in the past couple of years. They have redone the restaurants with a clean organized look. I tried the ghost pepper spicy chicken sandwich. I am sorry to say that there was not a lot of heat or or spiciness in the sandwich. I wouldn't recommend this image but the restaurant was nice and clean and neat.
