I've been with Webformix for 19 years. Always reliable. And their tech staff is the best. They just solved my router problem over the phone at no charge. Now I'm back up and running fast.
Thanks, Eric!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mike S.Mesa, AZ0271Dec 24, 2021
They were very easy to talk with and responsive. I told them I'd start with there middle speed plan. They said I could go to a lower or higher speed plan any time no problem. Based on my experience so far, they are awesome!

I called Webformix the other day to see if they had changed their internet offering at the Eagle Landing apartment complex in Bend and an amazing rep named James C informed me that they did indeed still have the same system for Eagle Landing, whereby or whereupon you cannot connect or use a router, a printer, a tv, etc.
It's always so refreshing and pleasurable to talk to the reps at Webformix. It's just a shame that I have to stay with cable for internet because Webformix is simply unusable at Eagle Landing.

If you want to donate money to them for being such a great company with awesome support reps, that's fine. But please do not count on being able to actually use Webformix for internet access if you happen to live in the Eagle Landing apartment complex in Bend, Oregon.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Nov 4, 2015Previous review2 STARS :(
WEBFORMIX AT EAGLE LANDING APARTMENTS DOES NOT ALLOW YOU TO INSTALL A ROUTER!
AT EAGLE LANDING APARTMENTS, USING WEBFORMIX, YOUR 3 ALLOWED DEVICES WILL DISCONNECT 20 TIMES A DAY AND YOU WILL HAVE TO RECONNECT BY ANNOYINGLY TYPING IN YOUR USERNAME AND PASSWORD EVERY TIME!
IF YOU LIVE IN EAGLE LANDING, GO WITH BEND BROADBAND INSTEAD.
If you don't live in Eagle Landing, your Webformix will have a dish and modem and router and you will pay for installation and roughly twice as much for the monthly service. BUT, since you -don't- live at Eagle Landing, then you will be able to connect a router and will not have to keep logging in to your devices twenty times a day, you will be able to connect other devices such as TV's and wireless printers, and you won't be limited to 3 devices.
The speed tiers of Webformix (which for some reason are unpublished on their website) are:
Basic: $20 = 1 Mb/sec (which is 0.125MB/sec)
Plus: $32 = 4 Mb/sec
Power: $44 = 7 Mb/sec
Pros:
- I pay for the Power tier and I actually get the full 7 Mb/sec speed.
- Great customer service.
- I can use LastPass to automatically log my laptop in to the God forsaken Webformix log in screen.
Cons:
- You have to log in by typing in your username and password to each device you want to use many times throughout the day because you often get logged out.
- They limit logins to 3 devices. If you try to log in a fourth device, it will kick off one of your other devices.
- Because there is no router, you can't connect a wireless printer or a pseudo-smart TV like my Visio which has internet apps, but does not have the actual browser required to get to the login screen to log the TV in. Webformix told me that I could connect the TV, but I would have to "whitelist" it, which would diminish my device limit to 2 other devices.
- I was told that, if I wanted to use more than 3 devices, I would have to buy more and more service plans.
- I was told that I am not allowed to connect a router. I was told that if I connected a router, they would blacklist it. They said that, if anyone in Eagle Landing were to be able to hook up a router, everyone in the whole complex would be able to connect to it for free and Webformix would go out of business.
Update (11/3/2015)
This is hilarious. About 30 minutes after I posted my original review to Google, Matt from Webformix calls me on the phone! He said that he saw my review on Google and wanted to address my concerns.
So Matt pleasantly explained several things to me, such as, their company is very small and that the service at Eagle Landing is half the price as in-town service. He went on to say that each login gets a full 7 Mb/sec, which is a problem for them somehow. He said that if he had his way, each login would share the 7 Mb/sec. I said, "Shouldn't you be saying that if you had your way, each login would get a gigabit?"
"Oh yeah, that's what I mean," he said.
Abhorrently, though he had not solved any problem, Matt thought it prudent to ask me to remove my Webformix review on Google. No, I shant be doing that. While Webformix is a wonderful company and I'm very tempted to give them $50 a month for nothing, just because they're so personable, I must keep my review up to warn potential Webformix-Eagle Landing customers that they will not be able to connect a router, etc. As a compromise, I am upgrading my rating of Webformix from my original 2 stars to 5 stars.
As much as I would have loved to support local, small business (especially Webformix, who are the friendliest and most knowledgeable people you ever met) because I can't connect a router to my Webformix service at my Eagle Landing apartment, I bemoaningly switched to Bend Broadband.
So far, the Bend Broadband cable modem has been fine. It has a router built in, so I can connect however many and whatever kind of devices I want. I also don't have to keep logging them in throughout the day. Furthermore, I pay for 100MB/sec and I actually get that on a wired connection. My wireless is anywhere between 20 and 80 Mb/sec, but I can live with that.Oct 28, 2015Previous reviewI live in the Eagle Landing Apartments. It has its own infrastructure, which means I don't have any hardware in the apartment such as a router or modem. I picked Webformix because it seemed like the best choice of the only 3 real choices for internet in Bend; Webformix (WiMax), Bend Broadband (cable) and CenturyLink (DSL). I didn't want to be under contract for DSL, and Bend Broadband had such horrible reviews (such as, it doesn't matter which tier you ppay for, you will get 1 Mb/sec or less when it works at all.) At the end of the day, I think Webformix is the lesser of all Bend evils and I would have to hesitantly recommend them.
Important: I can only review Webformix for Eagle Landing Apartments. If you don't live in Eagle Landing, I'm sure your experience will be better than mine (meaning you can probably use a router and therefore not have to keep logging in constantly, you would probably be able to connect a wireless printer and TV, etc, and you won't be limited to 3 users).
The speed tiers (which are for some reason, unpublished on their website) are:
Basic: $20 = 1 Mb/sec (which is 0.125MB/sec)

If I were to be able to connect a router, all my Webformix prayers would be answered and I would give 5 stars.
Again, if you don't live at Eagle Landing Apartments, you can probably use a router and therefore not have to log in constantly, you would probably be able to connect a wireless printer and TV, etc, and you won't be limited to 3 users. - Leah C.Redmond, OR52262Nov 4, 2016
Think it's time for a review in 2016! I just had Webformix install the internet at my home office in Redmond. The start up price was far less than the "Popular" internet company which everyone seems to use even though the service isn't great.
Webformix monthly rate is very reasonable and Jim the person who did my install was fantastic. Jim was fast but efficient, he explained the operation of the service and I completely understood what he was saying! My internet is working better than ever and I could not be happier. I am going to spread the word; Webformix is outstanding. Thank you so providing great service and a choice!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Doug R.Terrebonne, OR5472Apr 2, 2019
Nick and his crew are very professional and quite prompt in addressing issues with the internet connection. I've been with them about 10 years now and they have always come through with a good connection and excellent service. Today they came out to change my frequency on the satellite dish even though they were booked solid. They value you very much as a customer and treat you well. If you're having a lot of trouble with your cable internet here on Crooked River Ranch, make the switch and sign up with Webformix. You won't be sorry.

After being fed-up with the not-so-local-anymore BB I reached out to Webformix. Their customer service agent was friendly, knowledgable and prompt. They were able to expedite sending a tech out to test service at my house. Unfortunately they were not able to get a great signal at my house but I will be trying again when we move. They won't do an install unless they are sure they can provide excellent service which shows a lot of integrity.

I needed help adding an appointment-setting program from another company. Matt was my helper/specialist, and I am so please with how professional and how fast he performed the task. He kept in contact with me quickly, returning emails promptly, and addressed all my questions intelligently. This is the company to do business with. I am completely satisfied with the work, and everything works perfectly.
Thank you Matt and Webformix.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Amaya S.Vernonia, OR032Jan 19, 2013First to Review
I moved into a place with no internet. As a college student on a tight budget, I couldn't afford any huge prices. As a computer geek, I can't stand having a limit on the amount of data I use each month. I'd far rather have unlimited data, but limited speed. They offer an excellent range of speeds for very affordable prices. The 1 Mbps down/ 0.5 Mbps up at a constant $20/month was just what I needed. The internet quality was excellent. I had absolutely no complaints with their customer service.

When we moved out here from the city and learned we could only have satelite internet service I cringed. Then I found this small company in our area and cringed further. Having 5 people in our home that use internet I was sure this small company could not meet our needs. I WAS SOO WRONG!! They answer their phones!! Very rarely do I get a machine. They give me on the spot help. The techs I have spoken with and that have come to my home "know" what they r talking about. I cannot say one negetive about this company. I look forward to many years of their service to my home. Thank you Webformix.
