Wawa's $5 meal deal is an absolute winner! I can't say enough good things about it. You get a warm, satisfying soup paired with a delicious sandwich - a perfect combo for a quick and affordable meal.
The variety of choices for both the soup and sandwich is impressive, catering to different tastes. The quality and freshness are top-notch, and the portions are just right. Plus, the convenience of a one-stop shop with fast and friendly service is a bonus.
For a wallet-friendly, tasty meal that hits the spot, Wawa's $5 deal can't be beaten. It's my go-to choice for a quick, budget-friendly, and satisfying lunch or dinner.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Nikki M.Orlando, FL18419Dec 16, 2023
For the most part, I feel like they ignore their mobile orders. I always have to wait 35+ minutes to pick up my mobile order and it's usually just sitting there getting cold when I eventually ask an attendant about a mobile order that I placed.

Wawa has certainly expanded its presence throughout Florida and that is certainly good news for Floridians, but for Floridians who relocated here from eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey, it was bringing a piece of home down here to the Sunshine State.
Wawa is so much more than a simple gas station. Yes, it features a multitude of gas pumps offering competitive prices and I applaud them for offering air for your tires from an air pump that does not require a payment. Should be common sense, but most gas stations have decided that they can generate a few more dollars by charging people to put air in their tires. Wawa goes above and beyond in customer service by letting people get air without a surcharge.
But for me and I would hazard a guess that endears Wawa to most of us is the food that they offer, mostly their subs (what they call hoagies due to their original locations). These subs, er, hoagies are freshly made 24/7 and many, myself included, have ended an evening festivities at a Wawa grabbing an end of the night snack in the form of one of their subs, hoagies, or whatever you want to call them. They have both hot and cold sub/hoagie things, as well as other foods like breakfast sandwiches, bagels, bowls, etc. I also have always liked their pretzels, available at the cash registers.
Oh, speaking of their food, keep an eye out for Hoagiefest, where they offer any sub at a discounted price. Truly a good deal.
So, yes, I recommend Wawa. I would almost climb a mountain to scream its praises for the four winds to carry to the far planets of this world (perhaps even going so far as to reach my home state of New Jersey). Check them out, you will be a convert.Helpful 11Thanks 0Love this 9Oh no 0 - Lisa S.SC, SC0122Feb 22, 2023
Stopped for gas and a snack. My daughter got a chicken quesadilla and it was sliced such that all the filling fell out when she picked it up. I ordered a frozen coffee drink and it was melted bf we even received it. Overall the store was dirty and there was a lot of trash around the outside of the store and gas area. Which for Wawa it's unusual. Not the best Wawa experience.

I work over night so night is my day . The only thing that is open is wawa yet I walk-in and 6 employees standing not doing anything and no one can make shakes it's all I drink and they are too lazy to make them why have the sandwiches open and not drinks. They even turned it off on the app when I know they had the material to make it . Pure laziness

Carol took my somewhat complicated special order, and made two of the BEST looking items I have ever received at Wawa! She was also so polite, friendly, and professional. Thank you, Ms. Carol, for being such a great associate! Wawa should be thankful to have you!

I will start off this review by stating that I am typically preferential to Wawa in any gas station needs. I will go out of my way to pass five other gas stations just to go to a Wawa. But, tonight I ran into my first less than up to par Wawa. I went to go clean my windshield of all the Florida bugs that inevitably off themselves on your windshield when you're driving on the highway in Florida, Like I usually do while I get gas. That is one of the things I particularly like about this chain of gas stations, they always have fresh soapy water to use with their windshield cleaners! And honestly that is very hard to find nowadays. As soon as I laid the windshield squeegee on my windshield, I was hit with the most rancid smell I've ever smelt in my life. I don't know what was in that water, and I tried a few of them so it was not contained to one cleaning bin. That was disgusting to say the least, and they really need to heighten the bar at that particular area location to the rest of the Wawa chains throughout.

I have been waiting for this particular Wawa to open up now for a while, and the time has finally arrived. Due to the proximity of my residence, this is now my go to gas station, for several reasons.
The cleanliness of the store is fantastic, and for this area of Apopka, that is something that is sorely lacking. The walk in beer cooler is a good plus, and the sandwiches that we had there were overall rather good. The gas prices are in line with the cheapest in the area as well, so that helps.
One huge plus here is that they offer Ethanol free gas. It is about $.75 more expensive per gallon, but now I can finally guy gas for my lawn mower and other gas powered equipment that won't ruin the engine. No longer do I have to go to the nearest hardware store and pay a huge price for premixed, ethanol free gas. This is really an amazing thing, something more gas stations should offer, as things like this can win business.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Charles M.Orlando, FL4884047Jul 26, 2018
This location has got to be the nastiest WaWa I have ever visited. The inside and outside needs a deep cleaning. Even the staff were dirty :(.
