Washington Street Steakhouse & Pub

Just plain good food!! Super Friendly, Eliza, was our server and she couldn't have been more helpful! We ordered the fried mushrooms to start and I was pleased that I didn't burn my mouth!

Hubs had the chicken fried steak and I had the chopped sirloin - both were sized that we could have shared, and both were super tasty! And how could we pass up the pie for dessert? We were curious when we saw the mile high stroll by (ha! I rhymed!) but in the end the peanut butter pie and the meyer lemon won out!

There is certainly a regular crowd that frequents this place, and who knows, we might become part of it - but if you're looking for some tasty "down home" cooking Wash Street Steakhouse is a go to!

Will definitely be back so yummy and the bartender was so nice and welcoming! I don't know her name but she had long blond hair in a ponytail, really appreciated her. Also ate the French toast too fast to get a picture lol. but it was the crispy and scrumptious!

The food was good .. little costly.... Bartenders were super busy but they managed to.... Service was polite... customers were loud and cussing a lot with in intervention... I didn't mind too much but I could see others were uncomfortable

Great service! Waitress Piper was genuinely impressive. Food was good and the place is clean with lots of parking available.

When the place we wanted to go was unable to accommodate due to kitchen issues we stopped here. The reviews were sketchy but we decided to give it a shot.

The reason for the 2-star review is because the service was AWFUL! What a shame!

We arrived just before 8am on Sunday and the booths had a couple people each but all the tables were vacant so we took one. Two coiled came in after us so I believe that filled the dining area. The server poured the coffee and then came back and took our order. Then she got the order for the other tables. NEVER saw her again until we got the bill.

It seems harder and harder to find a place with good coffee. Well this is the place or so my cohort said. Too bad he only got one refill and that was after I stopped another server and asked for it. This server brought it.

The table on one side of us got their food and not long after another person served the table on the other side of us. A few minutes later we were served. But not by our server.

The food was really good and well portioned. But again nobody checked on us, our water was not refilled and we had to ask to get a refill on coffee. NOBODY was going around to the tables to provide coffee!

I wanted to like this place and for the coffee and food I did but the service is awful unless you are the type of person that only wants one cup of coffee with ordering and receiving the bill as your only server interaction.

Yup, she brought the bill and then disappeared again and after she didn't come back we left cash with her tip and left!

No need to return there.

Great service, amazing staff, and amazing food. I have never had a bad experience here and love talking with the staff. They remember your name and orders and make it feel like a personal experience. I moved out of town but I keep coming back whenever I can.

Small-town ambiance, great burgers. The place to go for steak, meatloaf, etc. -- and really great chili!

Great food, good service, small town hospitality. What more do you need? Washington street is one of those places with a big menu, and everything on the menu(that I've tried) is great. My wife likes their breakfast the most. She isn't typically a breakfast eater, but for Washington st. she makes an exception. It would be nice to see them update the interior a little, but in a way, I guess it illustrates the humble small town charm.

A lot of the time it's so packed it makes the restaurant accessible for us because of my anxiety disorder. If we have the kids we order out if we don't, we sit in the pub and problems solved. Good food often hurried, but hey, what do you expect from the busiest place in town?

We always eat in the bar side of the restaurant.
We both ordered steak. My husbands New York steak was very tender and flavorful.
Mine was a top sirloin and was tough. I have had it here before many times and have always been pleased w it.
Food was not piping hot from the kitchen; but I believe it was because our waitress was busy at the bar.
Loaded mashed potatoes were delicious; but would have been better if hot.
We enjoy this restaurant. It was easy to visit and hear even tho the place is relatively small.
