Our commitment to quality is what has helped us produce the best pizza in North America and the fourth best pizza in the world. Our pizza features Sicilian style sauce made from fresh tomato base and crispy Italian crust that uses artisan flour. We receive fresh produce and other ingredients several times a week to guarantee freshness. We don't stop this commitment to just our pizza, it applies to the rest of our menu as well. Salads are made from healthy leaf lettuce and use the same fresh toppings as our pizzas. In addition, we have a full menu of classic 1950s diner favorites. For dessert, hard and soft serve ice creams are available, and homemade sherbet is available in a new flavor every week. Food is decent, pizza is good. The biggest drawback for this restaurant is the hours--closed weekends and Monday, it seems like every time you want to grab ice cream or a pizza, they aren't open. It's an Ontario staple.

My wife was in the mood for some sherbet and likes the quality of what Warrior offers... sign out front said closed Friday July 15... today is July 18 and still closed.
This place is closed half the time we go for ice cream or sherbet (we don't go for the pizza).
So we will bypass and not go out of our way as it's always a gamble whether or not this "open year round" place is open or closedHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1Jun 28, 2019Previous reviewMy second time here for the pizza...these folks advertise their "award winning pizza"... they claim on their website the dough and sauce are all homemade. The crust is bland, the sauce tastes like it's canned tomato puree. No seasoning. Throw some salt, garlic and seasonings in there. Better yet, when the owner decides he wants to shut the place down for a week or two to go on vacation, go to New York and learn how a real pizza is made.
Aug 26, 2018Previous reviewMy wife and I have been searching for a good pizza. We have been to Warrior for ice cream, and noticed all the clippings and awards on their walls for their pizza so our expectations were high.
Oh, man what a let down. I'm not quite sure what KIND of awards this pizza has won, but to my wife and I, it was like eating a Papa Murphy's take and bake pie. Crust was like getting a Boboli ready made crust (the bottom of the crust could have been baked a few minutes longer to get crispy)... sauce was like tomato paste and water... cheese was like the shredded kind you get at the supermarket.
At least there was a generous portion of toppings.
AND the billboards for Warrior AND their website show the pizza sliced into wedges. Ours was cut into squares. Is this and Ohio thing? A round pizza cut into squares?!?!? I don't get it.
We also ordered the spicy garlic wings, which were really good and my wife loves the orange sherbet. But pass on the pizza. Domino's or East of Chicago is much better. I hate to prefer a chain pizza over a local place (or series of places) but I guess that's the reality of the area. - Ron Sue G.SoMa, San Francisco, CA01Apr 11, 2023
Absolutely the best subs in, Mansfield, Ashland, Wooster, or anywhere . I love the Roman sub and I add mild yellow banana peppers and mushrooms. It is killer, jammed full and overflowing with meats, cheeses, vegetables, and sauce. Nowhere else have I gotten such a filling sub for the amount of money. If you haven't ate here yet, you are really missing terrific food for a great price ! Alot of bang for the buck here. My favorite place for subs, pizza, etc, and they have much ,much more to choose from. You won't be disappointed !

This place has given me lots of mixed opinions, Let's start of with the food
The food was made well, they have a robust menu with, a-lot of variety. I went her during the day and they were so busy, there was no one to direct people how it works. i went to sit down, and I did not even know, you had to stand in line, and then sit down and wait for the food to be brought to you, i saw so many teens running around doing multiple different task as if it look like a nascar race track, On person was handling men, then the same person put a pizza in the box, (with no glove) it was chaotic, it was strange that in a sit down restaurant, that then bathroom was out side in the back, as if it was like a gas station.
I like the art work and the decor the owner is proud to show off his faith it get to send positive message to people, But I think one of the best ways to improve the restaurant from my perception is to not run it like a factory, that's at least what it felt like to me. It is true that the intentions are definitely their, this owner was very concerned about feedback, so that is definitely a positive thing, I hope to come again to see when it gets even better.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Laura G.Marysville, OH184671May 1, 2019
So we went a 1 hour and 10 minute drive to see the Ohio Bird Sanctuary. (loved it)
I told my toddler we would go get Ice Cream and Pizza.
I read the reviews of Warriors and decided to give it a try.
I bought a baby ice cream cone which my three year old ate it all...
Then I ordered a garlic cheese pizza and a pepperoni, green pepper, mushroom pizza.
It was done in maybe 10 min. ( just enough time for my toddler to eat the last bite of his cone.)
My review of this pizza is high.
I have a few favorites around, and I am very picky when it comes to pizza.
The sauce was great, the dough you could tell was homemade and it was very good. There is a garlic and Parmesan on the crust I believe.
I ate more than planned and my toddler ate the hole garlic Parmesan pizza I ordered too...
Give this a try you won't regret itHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Jennifer B.OH, OH010Oct 5, 2022
We ordered pizza tonight and the sauce tastes sickeningly sweet. They have overloaded it with sugar and have no other spice flavor in it. I am pretty easy-going with pizza and I found this to be nearly inedible. Their ice cream is awesome and service is great, just beware if you don't like mega mega sweet sauce because this won't be for you!!

This is an award winning pizza place with a rotating sherbet flavor. You can come for the ice-cream, but you are here for the amazing pizza. Try the GPS (Green pepper, pepperoni, sausage) or the Pepperoni Melt with it's over the top amount of pepperoni. They have an awesome sauce on their pizzas that is just the right blend of herbaceous and sweet. The calzones are my go-to and I highly recommend them, but eat with a friend. Even the small is too much for one person. The Chicken Parm sub is outstanding, but if you get it, eat it there. It suffers from transportation and you won't get the right crispy chicken exterior and saucy unctuousness if you let it sit in a bag for the trip home.

I must be the only person this place absolutely always hands order dripping all over the place.
The1st time, I was handed a chocolate soda with the lid not on completely. It was spilling out of the cup when they handed it to me and then, the lid came off completely spilling chocolate sofa into my Audi's perforated leather seats!
That was a couple months ago. Last night I decided to give them another chance. I ordered a chocolate sundae. I heard one worker tell another one to just use hot fudge topping. I corrected the employee emphasizing I ordered a sundae with vanilla ice cream and regular chocolate syrup. They signaled they understood. Again I was handed a dripping product. It was so melted when I got to my home 10 minutes away, it was all over me and my car. The topping was thick hot fudge topping, not regular chocolate syrup.
I am done with the way this place cares nothing about what they serve. Can't even put a lid on correctly.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - C H.Ontario, OH014May 2, 2021
Very good pizza, most of the time. Would have given 5 stars if they were more consistent. I actually prefer the calzones. Great subs, try the Sicilian. Great ice cream.
