Wagon Trails Animal Park

We love this place! Great place to take the kids, beautiful animals and clean facility!!! We go several times every year!!!!!

Wagon Trails Animal Park was founded in the year 2000. The business is family-owned, and this year might be the final season, so I encourage people to visit soon. The park has about 60 acres of open space for large animals and some cages for small animals. Employees drive customers around in an open-air truck to view hundreds of camels, cows, pigs, bison, zebras, and many other animals.

Business hours vary based on the month and day of week, so check their website for the current hours. Prices for admission are currently $16 for children and $19 for adults, and only cash is accepted. The price includes a bucket of food to feed the large animals. For the small animals, small cups of food can be purchased for 50 cents.

I visited this animal park on a weekday morning. I spent about 1 hour on the safari ride and about 30 minutes in the petting zoo. The employees were nice and informative. I enjoyed watching the animals and feeding them. I think that this park offers plenty of fun for kids and adults.

I am so saddened to learn they are closing on Labor Day. This is by far one the best experiences in my life! Just let my pictures speak for themselves. This event is for everyone who loves animals. The cost is so well worth the experience.

We had a blast at Wagon Trails! Probably more fun than 5 grown adults should have The Safari ride was fantastic and the driver was super informative, we will definitely go back again!

Super cute place but the girl working at the entrance to the petting zoo is as grumpy as ever.

This place is INCREDIBLE! If you have kids, if you know kids, if you can act like a kid for the love of animals you too will love this place. We used to come here before we had kids and my husband loves it so much I had to limit it to twice a year - as it's pricey for the fact admission for him ($16.95) only includes one bucket of food - he buys more on the trip - this last trip we had a $16 tab from the extra food...but to see his face & our twins faces - worth it!

Petting zoo in front has awesome goats, pigs, turkeys and peacocks. The back animals all hooved make it for the ride - overall great family time!

Warnings - CASH ONLY - for rides and food. They will close for the season in October so plan ahead!

Kids had a great time yesterday
Rain was unfortunate but only lasted few mins...benches were soaked so bring something to sit on if rain is in the forecast.
Wear pants and long sleeves if you can...bug bites sting at first.
Overall kids were happy petting and feeding the animals.

This park was beautiful. I have been to so many animal parks and this was the cleanest I have seen by far. You could tell The animals were very well taken care of and healthy. This park far exceeded our expectations and I would highly recommend going.

This place is wonderful! If you love animals and love feeding them, this place is for you! My kids are 1-1/2 and 4 years old and they both had a great time! They price is good, the gift shop is not overpriced and it was pretty clean for an animal park.
I would suggest not wearing nice clothes or anything the animals can grab on the safari ride!
We loves our trip. We would definitely go back!

I hadn't been in years and loved my visit today. Everyone must stay in their cars and drive through the park which was great for me as a photographer. I spent about two hours and took 1,000 pics. I'll be back!
