My headlight was out on my car. I pulled up to O'Reilly expecting to seek out my headlight bulb.
There was a gentleman standing at the door. I walk in and he asks if I need a headlight and there was already an associate looking for the correct headlight. He found it for me and shared the benefits of the type of bulb I needed with some humor to boot.
Another associate took the old bulb out and put a new one in!
I am so impressed and very grateful for their help!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Apr 3, 2017Previous reviewWe have been into O'Reilly many times. They are always very helpful.
Recently we had a mishap and needed to remove paint due to a run in with another car.
Mike was knowledgeable, friendly and gave us great advice and instruction. What he recommended worked great and we were so thankful.
I'm glad O'Reilly and all of it's awesome staff are in our neighborhood! - 925110Dec 26, 2013First to Review
The customer service leaves a lot to be desired.
I've been here three times.
I don't know what it is about this location, they just can't figure out the basics to helping out your customers.
First trip:
Needed a new battery.
Brought in the dead battery and gave them the info for my vehicle. They looked it up on their computers and said that they had two batteries that would work for it. There was a $20 price difference in the two batteries and I asked why that was. His response was that they were different batteries. I kind of stared at him for a second and realized that he had no clue so I just paid the extra $20 and hoped that the extra cost translated into a higher quality battery. I asked him if they were giving me a credit for the dead battery I was leaving behind and his reply was "don't worry we'll recycle it." I didn't make a fuss because in the end I didn't need the credit or anything, but its annoying when someone answers a question you didn't ask...
Second trip:
Wanted some velvet washers for my dad's truck battery. The guy found them and grabbed them for me. Super quick in and out, good service.
Third trip:
Went in for a funnel. The selection was in the back corner. I went in looked at a few and then grabbed one and headed to the front to ring out. There were two older gentleman working the front. They were conversing with a customer about how best to address his car issue. I didn't want to be rude and interrupt so I went in line behind this guy and waited. Both employees saw me standing there. They continued talking for another 5 minutes, at which point I held the funnel up in the air to signal that I needed to pay and leave. I'm medium height, they both saw me and...still nothing. In walks a lady that needs help finding something, one of the two guys breaks from the conversation about cars and starts answering her questions. She then asks him to look things up for her and he starts. I simply was astonished by this guy; doesn't want to help out someone what wants to pay and leave but will jump at the shot to hit on a female customer.
I gently tossed the funnel onto some boxes by where I was standing and left. Not wasting my money here.
Took me 2 minutes to find the funnel and waited in line for 8 minutes. Inexcusable.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
