Lydia M.Hurdle Mills, NC0122Mar 12, 2024I had an appointment with Dr. Molly Howlett for my for my part of my VA exam. I have POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome) which has NOTHING to do with my ears, it is a heart condition that I'm being Medically separated from the military for. The problem is that people know very little about it. Not only did she actually look through my records, which are extremely extensive, she also knew what POTS was and made sure I was comfortable and did what I needed to avoid passing out without me having to explain anything. This may seem like a minor thing to a lot of people but I have seen COUNTLESS doctors and specialists in the past four years and even the CARDIOLOGISTS didn't really understand POTS or treat me like a person. Maybe military medical centers broke me but honestly this was an amazing experience even with the tinnitus triggering beeps in my ears. I was in and out super fast, the drive from the peninsula took longer than the appointment. 11/10. Dr. Howlett I know I'll never see you again but I appreciate you immensely and you're invited to the bbq.
