Surfside Sandwich Shoppe

Great place for sandwiches! Inside is very small but there is more outdoor seating. We called ahead (highly recommend that since they are very busy), and took the sandwiches to the beach. The sandwiches were all delicious! We had the potato salad and cole slaw sides. The potato salad has a little kick to it, so good!

Definitely recommend this place for sandwiches! It's also a bar - we didn't try any drinks.

Good food consistently! On the island that is a precious commodity. Highly recommend.

Great service, they allowed me to bring my dog inside to order. They also brought out bacon for my little guy & then offered me to bring him inside since it was a little chilly out.
The lady was super nice! Great happy hour, will def come back!

Always a great place to grab a sandwich and beer ! The food is always quality and cooked fresh from the grill. The ambiance is what one would expect from a beach location.

The Italian Stallion Sandwich is one of the best sandwiches I've EVER HAD!! All the meat, cheese and bread were super fresh. The real kicker was the absolutely delicious marinara sauce for dipping! The staff was awesome, it's a busy holiday weekend. They forgot my pasta salad, but i honestly didn't need after my delicious sandwich!! Can't wait to try new stuff next time I'm in town!

These sandwiches were delicious!! I ordered the French dip, and it did not disappoint! The bread was warm and soft, and the meat, cheese, and onions were melt in your mouth! The aju was delicious, too.
My husband ordered the Philly, and he liked it, but he needed to add salt and the cheese dip. When I was done with my aju, he used the rest of it, and he really loved his sandwich then. Y'all may want to get aju to take the Philly up a notch. The restaurant itself is quite small but cozy. It reminds us of a place we would find in Hawaii. They do have a good size patio with outdoor seating, too.
The first Monday of the month is HH all night starting at 4 and karaoke. We plan to come back later!!

Pet Friendly, great food and chill atmosphere. Great price. Large menu. I had chef special- three filing spring tacos. I'd go back!!

First time visiting CC. We were at the whitecap beach and wanted to grab a quick lunch and head back to the beach. We had both our pups so this was a good option given the outdoor seating. Very clean, small and cool sandwich shoppe with some great selection of beer and drinks.
I ordered the chicken salad sandwich with side of coleslaw and Hubs ordered the Philly cheesesteak sandwiches. Service was great, they brought the food out to us when it was ready.
If we ever come back to CC we will for sure hit this spot up again.
They have Happy Hour daily from 4-7 which is sweet.

Cute hole in the wall restaurant with a chill vibe and seriously good sandwiches. Staff is always friendly. You order at the end of the bar. The blackened chicken was seasoned super well. So delicious it doesn't even need the bread if you want to save some calories. 10/10 Cuban press 10/10. The bacon Mac and cheese was not my favorite 6/10, but the sandwiches are definitely worth the drive if you live in Corpus.

Surfside Sandwich Shoppe is great! I try to stop in at least once whenever I am on the Island. Surfside is such a comfortable, friendly place. I always get a kick out of them sending an order from the cashier to the sandwich makers/grill cooks! Surfside not only has great sandwiches. They have some tacos too, oh and a full service bar! The Baja tacos are great as well as the Reuben. The Rueben is a classic and they do it right!
