Q:
What is dresscode and wonder if my 17 year-old brother can come with the family?
A:
Dress is casual. It's a very welcoming atmosphere. I'm sorry I don't know about the age requirements so I'd give them a call.

Asked a friend for a solid restaurant with great food along 85 on the way home from ATL airport. He drops this spot in me and says "I've never had a bad meal here & they have a little of everything for each person. He wasn't wrong. Each dish was prepared fresh & arrived hot. Being that it was Monday night I didn't expect we'd need reservations. But I was wrong. We were offered seats at the bar to dine and found three seats with sight into the kitchen. A small and intimate space. Beer & wine only. We three had one beer each.
We ordered the Pan Seared Snapper, Salmon & Pork chop entrees . The server asked how we would like the salmon - medium or well. And I requested the pork chop to be done. The two fish dishes came & were excellent. The pork chop was still quite pink. The person on the grill made eye contact & I waived her over with a smile, pointed out the pink & she immediately swooped it up & put it back on the grill
Immediately. It came back cooked perfectly! All of our plates were very well prepared, portioned & delicately seasoned to perfection. The glaze on the Salmon was good! The Green Apple whiskey reduction on the Pork Chop was very good & such a great touch on the pork. Enjoyed our food so much! The room filled fast! Which proved to be quite loud but not overbearing. Active, happy & friendly patrons & staff.
Not an inexpensive spot - $157 with tip for three plates & three beers. Perfect dinner spot for good food. Nice wine & beer selection. Good people. Put it on your hit list on the way home from the airport!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Michael S.Atlanta, GA44162Mar 28, 2024
For the past 5 years my girlfriend and I have been eating at this restaurant.
We find it frustrating that they come so close to doing a great job, but regularly miss the mark.
We enjoy the service and the wine menu.
The meatloaf is always reliable.
Most other dishes we try are almost good, but lacks a certain element. Especially for the price you pay to eat.
Sometimes it's over or under seasoned or could just use something more to tie the dish together.
Our last visit was particularly frustrating. They were out of meatloaf and we tried the tomahawk pork.
It turned out to be a bone in pork chop, but it was priced as a tomahawk pork. It was seasoned so strongly that we could barely eat it. That with a shrimp entree that was okay. Add in a couple of glasses of wine and we are paying $200 after tip for dinner. Kind of ridiculous for the quality of food they are putting out.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Feb 22, 2024
Oh em geee!! I finally was able to make it to this place and it did not disappoint.
First thing first... Staff was amazing. I love a friendly staff from host, server, bar, food runner and cooks.
The wine selection has something for everyone.
The food was delicious. Everything on the menu was something I would want to try. The appetizers were so filling.
I came with my mother who has lived in Hapeville all her life and so have her parents & their parents but she has never gotten to enjoy what the area has to offer. She felt comfortable and was so impressed with this place. I was as well & most definitely will be back.
I had two glasses of wine, my mom had one and we shared 2 apps & a dessert for about $70. Not bad.
Definitely recommend for after work, dinner date or self care date.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Apr 17, 2024Seated via Yelp Reservations
Was looking forward to my dinner here because of all the good reviews but left underwhelmed. Maybe this restaurant is good for Hapeville standards but it was fairly mediocre overall. Note that this place only has wine, no liquor. Caesar salad was decent, strong anchovy flavor so make sure you're ok with that. I got the ribeye and honestly it tasted like a steak you could buy at Kroger for $6 with a little bit of herb butter on top. If it was $27, it might've been acceptable but for $47 that was highway robbery, I've had better steaks at Applebees. They also didn't trim/de-vine the green beans. My friend ordered the lamb and was also underwhelmed. Street parking which was fairly easy to find. Service was great so I will give them that, probably why I gave it three instead of two stars.

Great menu, ambiance, medium and high end wine selections! The mushroom risotto w/chicken, or shrimp was excellent. Fresh salad! Recommend highly if you are in Hapeville or near airport with some time to burn!

I've been exploring spots closer to home in hapeville. This was my second stop. A cute wine bar, with a decent amount of tables. The serve was nice , she might have been a fit distracted with the table next to us but she did good.
The crab dip was delicious, I wish a tad bit more came with it. It was gone before I even realized we ate it so fast. The lamp chop were delicious and cooked to perfection. My date had the chicken and he said it was really good.
For dessert we tried the bread pudding which wasn't like a traditional style bread pudding but was yummy! I will definitely go back to try more items on the menu and maybe sit one the balcony now that the weather is getting nice !Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Aug 9, 2023
One of the things that I have committed to doing this year is to patronize businesses in my community. I live in the Tri-City area. East Point, College Park, Hapeville.
I honestly did not know this restaurant existed until I saw it on Facebook. I don't get over to Hapeville often but the past two times that I went out to eat have been in Hapeville.
We made a reservation for 5:30. We finished around 7:00. It started getting busy. Reservations are recommended for all Atlanta area restaurants at this point and time. It's so much easier than just sitting around waiting.
The restaurant is pretty much open meaning the seating, the bar and there's like an open style kitchen. We were greeted and seated as soon as we entered the restaurant. It's small and intimate and actually I like that.
Starters: Bruschetta and Mandarin Salad. The bruschetta was abundant. The plate made you want to dig in immediately. Very healthy portion.
Mandarin Salad- Gourmet greens, almonds, mandarin oranges, crumbled goat cheese, red onions, Mandarin Orange vinaigrette. Very good and the dressing was subtle in taste.
PAN SEARED GROUPER
Wild rice, sauteed zucchini, tomatoes, garlic, artichokes, honey chipotle peach reduction. gluten free. This dish was delectable. I took my time and ate it very slowly because I did not want want it to end.
Lastly I chose Carrot Cake for dessert. The cake is chilled which makes it dense and dry. That was a little shocking. The cake had a good taste and the frosting was not overly sweet. It didn't seem like it was cream cheese based. Had it been room temperature it would have been perfect.
We also had champagne and Riesling wine. The server was very bubbly, attentive and handled everything with ease. I would definitely come back here for a treat.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jan 24, 2024Updated reviewSeated via Yelp Reservations
I ordered here a year ago! This time I came in person. It is a quaint warm space. The food was still great and the staff is super friendly! I had the mussels which were amazing and the cream sauce was beyond words. I kept it to put on my main course. I had the snapper with baby potatoes with artichokes in a tomato sauce. It was perfect. This with a glass of the most delicious Riesling was to live for. Unfortunately they didn't have the dessert I wanted which was the flourless chocolate bourbon cake. Next time!
Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Jan 25, 2023Previous reviewI did a search and chose this place because the menu was super interesting. They don't deliver so we ordered for pickup and the food was great! I was pleased they wouldn't allow us to order mussels for take out because of health concerns. We ordered the crab dip, Greek salad, olives, trout, cod, and he chick pea cakes. Everything had lots of vegetables, great sauces and lots of vegetables! The portions and price were both reasonable!

If I could give more than 5 stars. I would!
I chose this spot for dinner based on the Yelp reviews as well as its close proximity to my hotel. I called first to see if I needed a reservation and was warmly welcomed to come in alone and sit at either a table or the bar.
When I entered, I encountered the man I talked to (Brandon), and he was even more delightful in person! I sat at the bar with CC as my server. She was just as amazing...so friendly, knowledgeable, and kind. She recommended and provided me with samples of wine to help me choose.
I will mention that this little place was very busy for a Tuesday night, and one point it was nearly full. I'd suggest you make a reservation if you're going with a group. (IMO this lends credence to the restaurant's quality!)
I ordered a glass of columbo blanc wine, chickpea cakes and a Greek salad. All my food was fresh and beautifully plated. The smoked tomato sauce on the chickpea cakes was amazing. I could have licked the plate (fortunately I chose to keep it classy and did not)!
From my seat at the bar I could see the kitchen staff was hard at work and were very clean. I chatted with a couple of them briefly and they were also very cordial.
I really loved this spot; the food, service and ambiance made my visit just delightful! I'd definitely recommend Volare to anyone in the Atlanta area.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 21, 2023
A solid 4.5. admit this is my 2nd visit. The first time I went for a business lunch, 3 in group, good food and quick service. I like to go back to check if my experience is the same and if the food is consistently good. Well, Volare did not disappoint. I went back again with a business group (all out of town), but this time, it was bigger, 15 people, on a Friday night, and it was a great experience. We had excellent service, and the food didn't miss a beat. Everyone at the table raved about their entree. I will say the creme brulee was good, but they burned the top a bit and had a burnt taste, but the inside was pretty good.
It's not a very big space, very cute, very trendy. It's worth a visit. I've been twice and each time, one on a weekday for lunch and another on a Friday night for dinner, and both times I was a happy and sated patron.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
