About the Business
Founded on artisan recipes, we earned a distinct reputation for quality taste for the serious pizza eater. Starting with our daily hand-tossed dough, mixed with extra virgin olive oil, our award-winning pies are then topped with our private-labeled sauce, made from freshly-packed, vine-ripened tomatoes and covered with 100% Real Wisconsin mozzarella cheese. Each pie is then finished with only market-fresh toppings -- from the little pepperoni that cups and curls on each pizza, to snow white mushrooms and crisp green peppers, to savory pepperoni and farm fresh sausage.

Really just sub par pizza. You can save money and get better pizza at dominos. The salad (regular size) was around 8 dollars for a very small salad. The pizza was slightly cardboard feeling.

Vocelli's has been our favorite pizza for over a decade! We especially love their thin crust options- literally any pizza can be a thin crust!!! Our favorites are the chicken spinachi and the old fashioned meat-lovers. They never skimp on the ingredients and the spinachi has fresh spinach; we have gotten frozen spinach from other places and definitely notice the difference.
They have always delivered our pizzas on time and hot; never a cold delivery. We ordered a few large party orders and they had the same timing and quality standards.
We had one minor issue with a delivery driver and the manager stepped in IMMEDIATELY and very graciously went above and beyond. We have a favorite delivery driver that our dogs are happy to welcome; granted they smell the deliciousness :-)Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Justin L.Chantilly, VA471Nov 18, 2022
It was absolutely the worst slice of 'pizza' I have ever had. The crust was clearly frozen and the oil covered pepperoni and cheese slid right off of the frozen dough. I wish I saved my money and just thrown in a frozen pizza. Disgusting.

I live in the pizza and chicken wing capital of the world: Buffalo NY. So I have high standards. In DC area for a getaway. My kids wanted pizza and wings. Only a handful of pizza places deliver near Dulles Airport. I choose this one. I don't know if the others are any better, but Vocelli pizza was just like Chuckie Cheese's.
Wings were fair. Door Dash or restaurant shorted me one pizza. Now I have to order room service! So disappointed.
Got the "best Peruvian chicken" in VA today. It was okay. Wasn't marinated, just had a rub on it.
I'm sure there are phenomenal ethnic restaurants here, but I Haven't found one yet.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - CJ A.Herndon, VA048Oct 31, 2020
Very simple:
This place is essentially down the street from us, so I order pick-up to avoid delivery fees.
The last THREE TIMES I have arrived the employee in the back preparing the pizzas was wearing his mask around his neck and not over his mouth and nose. This included AFTER the pizza came out of the over and they leaned over it from a distance of less than two feet to cut it.
The last time this happened I told the manager I was reporting them to the Department of Health....but otherwise suggest just avoiding a business that so clearly doesn't care about spreading a dangerous and potentially deadly virus.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jamie C.Garden City, NY83142Dec 16, 2019
So before I get started everyone should know this is a pizza chain. The pizza and the locale are more like dominos than it is like a local ny pizza place. That being said this place is a cut above dominos and Pizza hut and Papa John's and little caesars. Similar but better. So if your in the mood for dominos hate how much like crap you feel after eating it, this is the place you want to go to. Don't expect to be giving kudos to the chef(who is probably a stoned teenager), but it's good for what it is and will definitely hit the spot when you're in the mood for it.

This pizza was absolutely horrible. I ordered from Vocelli's several years ago, so was happy to get back and order again. They originally sent out the wrong pizza, asked if I would just accept the wrong one, then delivered the one with correct toppings almost three hours after I ordered. Then, the pizza they delivered seemed like the driver just grabbed it from Domino's, but much worse. I wanted New York pizza, not a Domino's knock-off. Sausage is now rabbit pellets, not real Italian sausage. They should be ashamed. I find it hard to believe that any positive reviews are genuine. Nothing about the experience was positive.

Do not trust their website ordering! In late June I was visiting the Herndon,VA area and staying in a nearby hotel. I ordered a pizza using the Vocelli website and got confirmation of my order. After an hour, no pizza, so I called the store but nobody picked up. It was then closing time so I called the next day. They said the pizza had been delivered and paid for in cash. Maybe somebody got the pizza but I did not and my credit card was still charged. I got no email response from their customer service either. They need to tighten up their operation so that we don't get ripped off this way!

Vocelli'a Pizza is the best in town and I've been ordering there for some time now.
The service is top. After a small mistake on an order, they not only quickly and gladly rectified the order, but they threw in a couple bonus treats for patience.
Classy business and I was really impressed. Few restaurants will take customer obsession that seriously.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Amer H.McLean, VA425014Dec 17, 2016
Called in...Guy was rude. Actually went to the place to call the guy out, and he told me to F off and leave. I will not order pizza from this place. This the worst customer service for a pizza i have ever experienced. Your better off calling dominos....i will make sure corporate knows what's going on.
