WOW!! Blown away by my experience here. This is everything you would want from a photoshoot whether you're a professional vixen or an everyday vixen looking to do something fun and unique.

Its easy to see why scott and melissa are the go to in their industry. The studio is picture perfect in sunny seaside carlsbad and well worth the drive for people like me who live in OC. There are various vintage sets to create a multitude of scenes and poses for whatever you're thinking whether it be super sweet or super fetish. Scott's use of lighting and coloring is definitely a specialty and very very cool. Melissa is an expert at directing you how to pose- if you have zero experience you will come out of there feeling like you had a professional shoot of a paid model.

They are both super down to earth warm people and fantastic to be around for a few hours. No need to be shy or freaked out they make it all work effortlessly.

If you're looking to do something fun whether it be racy and more nude or just have some really fun vintage backdrops to some pictures no matter what your goal their studio is a must visit. Their prices are also extremely reasonable with payments if needed. I feel like I got a really good value for my money.

Everyone has an inner pinup this is definitely the place to help let it shine. They will be doing my family Christmas cards as well totally kitschy vintage and awesome!!

I had such an AMAZING experience with this company!! I used them for a boudoir shoot I did as a wedding present for my husband. I had a very limited window of time to work with and Scott was very flexible about scheduling and accommodated me completely.

On the day of the shoot, I was nervous. I had never done anything like this and didn't know what to expect. As soon as I arrived I was greeted with a friendly welcome and a glass of champagne! From there, Scott and his assistant showed me all of the really cool decor they had available. I was a bit indecisive so they threw out a ton of creative ideas and really worked with the style I had envisioned. They had so many variations to choose from and were willing to go to any length to make sure I had a wide variety of backgrounds, couches, colors, etc. in my photos.

Once I was in front of the camera, I immediately felt at ease. They both gave me tons of compliments to help me feel comfortable and confident. Since I'm not very photogenic, I was really worried about looking awkward in the poses but Scott's assistant was phenomenal about telling me just the right tricks to look sexy and effortless in the poses.

Once shooting was finished, they sat with me to carefully go over all the photos. They helped me decide which ones I wanted in my portfolio. Ahead of time I had decided on an amount of $ that I was willing to spend but i ended up exceeding that once I saw all the photos! There were just too many that were unique and special. In hindsight I'm SOOOO glad I did because on several occasions my husband has told me he still can't decide which of the photos are his favorite.

I would say no matter what type of photo shoot you're looking for, this company is the right choice! I seriously cannot say enough great things about them and my whole experience!!

Scott is a very nice guy! I had scheduled a photo session for a friend of mine this week last minute. He found the time to squeeze in the appointment. Unfortunately my friend had to cancel the next day before the session could take place. However Scott was very understandable and refunded my entire deposit immediately with no hard feelings.
I told him I will return to use him in a few weeks when my friend locks down a concrete date for the shoot.

First, I have a question?? WHERE do photographers go to get kick ass photos of themselves?? To other kick ass photographers, of course!!!! I cant say enough about how awesome Scott is and how amazing the experience and results of the photos we got from him are!! Jess and I shoot a ton of outdoor / lifestyle but wanted something different this year for our family photos. I've known scott for about 15 years from when I used to own a print shop in SD. He was one of my amazing artists. I was fortunate to photograph his wedding and have kept in contact over the years. His transition into photography was no surprise as he's an amazing artist and has proven so shoot after shoot. His work at Vixen is amazing... but now he's opened up Fuze, a division that covers all areas... including "family". So now you can have the kick ass polished style hes made a name for, on your family photos!! JEss and I are beyond thrilled to have him capture our family for our Christmas photos, 2016 :) I'll include a few snaps with this review. This was amazing! They were so fun and sweet. I can't believe how relaxed they made me feel. Also the hair and makeup made me feel like a million bucks.

I not only recommend them but am actually going to go back. No complaints whatsoever. Pricing was good, atmosphere fantastic, professionalism was great.

I recently got the book I ordered from VIXEN Photography! It was everything I could have asked for and more! My boyfriend especially loved it!

PS: It's very frustrating to see that Yelp is filtering all the reviews for VIXEN when I know for a fact that every single one of the reviewers were actual clients of theirs. Their pictures can be seen in the picture column!!

Yesterday I attended a great photo party at Vixen Photography. It was such a fun way to hang out with my girlfriends and get all gussied up.

Then when it was my turn to have my pictures taken, I was in heaven! Scott and his assistant made me feel so sexy and comfortable. They understood the look I was going for and totally embraced it. I had an amazing time. I'm not a model, but I felt like one - the hottest one on the planet!

I was floored when I saw the photos on the computer when we were done. I can't wait to see the prints!

You don't need a special someone to have sexy pictures taken for. Just do it for yourself! You'll be amazed by how sexy and powerful you will feel. The Vixen team will rock your socks off (literally!).

I have had multiple photographers take my photos for various promotions, as well as, my own personal shoots. Scott has a vision unparalleled! His comfort, ideas while posing, and photo finishing will have you leaving your day job to become a professional model. He comes along with the other half of Vixen....Kixxi Galore. She does an amazing job with hair, make-up, and wardrobe. This is especially helpful to the girl who has a hard time seeing her own beauty. Shooting with Vixen is a perfect choice whether you have enough model shots to fill a scrapbook or if you have never posed in front of a professional photographer before. Buy a book for your honey, and thank me later. ;-)

Vixen is INCREDIBLE!
I wanted to get something extra special and sentimental for my boyfriends birthday and I found Vixen through a friend of a friends Facebook when I was mesmerized by her amazing photos. I found out she had them taken at Vixen and I knew I had to do this for his gift. It was easy to book a date with Vixen and they were great at communicating with me over emails leading up to my shoot.

I felt like a Victoria's Secret model the day of my shoot. Everyone was super attentive from the moment I set foot in the studio. I was was whisked away to hair and make up and offered a glass of chilled champagne. The energy from everyone in the studio made me feel beautiful - they're all rooting for you and telling you how fantastic you look from beginning to end.

When hair and make up were done, Kixxi helped me pick my boudoir outfit from the several options that I brought. Then she and Scott picked out a glamorous Victorian chaise lounge for me to pose on. I was I was definitely nervous having never done anything like this before and it's just not in my nature, but they made it SO easy. Kixxi is such a doll! She is a burlesque dancer and posed me to look flawless. In the beginning she literally moved my arms and legs for me to position me nicely. She really pays attention to details helping you to relax your face, positioning your hands, pointing your toes and fixing a stray hair or lingerie ruffle.

Scott is a true artist! He has a great eye and on top of his talent he is a really supportive photographer. He made me feel gorgeous and really comfortable. He gave me great direction (since I am NOT a model) and he and Kixxi are really encouraging and everyone in the room just keeps telling you how beautiful you look.
It was an amazing experience and I cannot wait to do it again. I was on a supermodel high for the next few days after the shoot.

My boyfriend LOVED the book! He was so surprised and excited. Scotts touch up work was flawless and I couldn't be more pleased with the end result, which is absolutely stunning!. I highly recommend every woman experience a photo shoot like this at least once in your life, it is SO much fun!
