Can't thank Vista Linda enough for their amazing food and awesome service while catering our business clinic. From the pasta sauce to the pies for dessert, and the service with a smile, we will use them again!

I honestly don't know what Frank is talking about concerning that this place is the best ever anywhere. Who cares if the owners were/are Mexican? I have eaten at numerous Place in Montana owned by Mexicans that are just horrible. A bad cook is a bad cook, period. This place is full of bad cooks, just skip it.
I also have traveled extensively in Mexico and the Western U.S. where there are numerous migrant workers and amazing food.
I have been to various cooking schools also throughout Mexico and this just is not good Mexican food.
Just looking at the menu options should tell you that. The menu is a complete mess.
Okay, as far as the food goes it is just awful. Nothing on this menu makes you think that it is authentic what so ever. The food is bland and boring.
Maybe the meatloaf, manicotti or hamburgers are better.
I am sorry but this place is a waste of your time and money.
If you need to eat right in Somers then I would suggest going to Dells bar.

Great food. Family friendly environment. Montana at its best. The food came out hot and fresh. Great wait staff. Even meet the owner. Not that from a can restaurant that seem to be everywhere

Super friendly staff and great food! We came here with friends and family for a celebration dinner. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable about gluten on the menu and gave us impeccable service with genuine smiles and good natured enthusiasm all the way. Highly recommend the restaurant for good food, a great view and excellent service. Friendly and warm-hearted atmosphere!

Less than one star. Actually deserves negative rating. It is hard to understand how a restaurant can mess up Mexican food. But this place does it. I have been trying this place a couple times a summer and it has gotten progressively worse. The food is not tasty and in fact appears that they use poor quality ingredients. Years ago thieves a good restaurant. But today it is quite unacceptable. I hope they turn it around so they can stay in business.

PS. Even the margaritas are bad. Premix or something but not good.

Need catering?? Look no further! We had a "Happily Ever After" event for 50 at our home on October 4th. It was held outside however, due to covid. We booked the Vista Linda a month in advance, based on the delicious meals we've always had at the Knights of Columbus Christmas dinners there. We were given a convenient list of food items to choose from each category of: Meat (what the per-plate-price is based on), Vegetables of choice, Salad of Choice, Dessert, and Beverage. All of these choices revert back to the Meat Price that you choose per plate, so there's no guesswork on budgeting your cost. (You can instantly decide if you want to go Taco Bar or spring for Prime Rib by multiplying that price by how many guests you'll have.) Here we are a week after the event and our guest are STILL talking about how good our food was! We chose Chicken Cordon Bleu, Greek Salad, Brussel Sprouts in Wine Sauce, Baby Red Potatoes with dill, and had a delicious Apple Crisp with some kind of magical topping that I could have eaten plain with a spoon! All of this deliciousness came with fresh rolls & butter, coffee and lemonade. They brought it all out and set it up in an area away from where we & our guests were. So when we came around the corner there was the most beautiful line of silver serving dishes heated, so polished, so professional. And a wonderfully gracious Server who's name I wish I could remember! He catered to our every guest and kept the dishes full, allowing all of our party to continue visiting and having fun...instead of cleaning up & being stuck in the kitchen. Very, very helpful and SAFE during this era of covid. When people became full, and the food wasn't being dispensed anymore, he thoughtfully packaged everything up in to-go containers for us. He even left us the coffee & lemonade in their beautiful beverage containers for the rest of our night...picking them back up the next day. How thoughtful! I cannot recommend the ease of this whole process enough. We didn't have to think about a thing. They even provided the disposable plates, napkins, and cutlery, which is also a big deal trying to find those things at the store during covid. The only thing we had to do was have tables ready for the food, and garbage cans. That's it! The next time we cater ANYTHING I'm absolutely calling them again. I would venture to stay that no matter what we might have picked from those lists, it would have All be delicious. Thank you Vista Linda for helping make our special day that much more special =)

The owners must not be around anymore or distracted or some thing! This place
was medoker at best ( for Monatana standard ) before now it's worst. My best friend's lives next door to this place and they drive to Kalispell for Mexican food that should tell your some thing.
These people need to go to culinary school at FCC. Flathead Commuity College and graduate. Many time's the local's have never been out of the Flathead valley to enjoy
good Ethnic food, so they do know the difference. But the valley is changing and I hope
this place sell so to someone that know's Mexican food not made from Costco stuff.

I never write negative reviews but this was one of the worst experiences I've had at a restaurant. The waitress never took our drink order. We waited almost 2 hours for beans, rice, and Tacos. We had two young toddlers with us that are now up way past their bedtime. The restaurant was not busy. I counted 4 tables plus ours. When we finally got our food it was inedible. It was obvious our plates were under heat lamps for a very long time because the plates were too hot to touch (again we have two toddlers with us) and the rice and beans were crusty. None of us ate more than a couple of bites. That was a waste of time and $.

Coming from a State where there are very good Mexican Restaurants and having relatives who are Mexican, Vista Linda Restaurant is a huge disappointment. The food was served luke warm, there was not really any flavor to the food, the sauces tasted like they came from a can and the service was average for Montana.

I had relatives visiting from out of state and thought we would try Vista Linda for the first time after living here for four years. I have heard good reviews in passing over the years but I now wish I had not given Vista Linda a try. I apologized to my visiting relatives for taking them to Vista Linda. Everyone in my party had the same opinion.

Either Montanans do not like flavor or spice in their foods or they just do not know what real Mexican food should taste like. Sorry Vista Linda, but you get an "F" on your report card.
