Vintage Car Wash

THIS IS "THE WHEEL DEAL YA'LL" ??????

I went to Vintage Car Wash specifically to have my tires dressed and caps cleaned so I got the Wheel Deal but it was far from it. I asked the lead operator if my tires had even been dressed and he gives me Bull story of yes but you can't tell until they dry hahaha. I got ripped off. They lie to your face. I've had it with giving them chances. Just look what your money buys you. Crap!!

It has been said that doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result is the definition of insanity. So why o' why do I keep coming here. Like JN said, you have to take the time to review the work to make sure that attention to detail is actually practiced at an Auto DETAIL business. Sadly, my time is at a premium and I must hope/trust/pray it gets done correctly... 85% of the time it is not.

This group has left my car trashed with my personal item strewn about the cargo area, they've broken my rear view mirror and lost or "vacuumed" up countless car chargers , keys etc.. So tell me again..I am insane by definition?. Well .. This is the last time.. This time I took a car I borrowed to get it cleaned up in gratitude for the favor.. I get it back to discover that the dog hair I specifically went in to get rid of wasn't touched nor the cargo tray cleaned.

In closing it comes down to the basics.. To have to worry about or follow up to make sure a job you are paying for is actually done only tells me that top to bottom, this company doesn't give a rats.. About quality despite its DMag "best of" votes..

Truthfully, I have never considered writing a review for a car wash. At best, they're mediocre and I find myself cleaning so much more before and after that I wonder why I shell out the dough for one in the first place.

Cue some family members coming into town, a rearrangement of car seats in our SUV and an array of plastered gold fish in leather, crayons melted into drink holders and general disgustingness caused by having toddlers in the rear. My baby Dyson and I could not face this alone so it was time to call in the professionals.

I removed everything from the car and set off to Vintage Car Wash down the street. I pulled up and was quickly greeted by someone who told me about their packages (car wash packages that is) and the rain check for up to 5 days after the wash (this includes a wash and another vaccum!). I went for the Full Monty--a $35 all inclusive wash that was sure to make my car look like a fresh baby butt... or a new car. Whatever.

I didn't expect much. I've paid that before at other places and have been less than wow'd. **coughCARSPAcough** I waited. And waited. People that had come after me had left already and I started to get annoyed. But then I had flashbacks to what my car looked like going in and went back to reading my Kindle.

Finally, like the unveiling of a masterpiece, the guy who'd worked tirelessly on my pit of a car, came to get me. He ushered me out with a proud smile and I tipped him, which I do whether or not they've done a tip-worthy job, and got in. Smelled good. Looked good. I drove off happy with my gleaming car.

What's taken me weeks to realize is how much they really did. Those melted crayons in the cup holders? Gone. The sticky, plastered unknown substance in another? Gone. The marinara my husband spilled on the passenger side mat? Gone. The HUGE, ugly, unsightly yellow paint marks on my front bumper that my husband so graciously added just weeks after getting our bumper replaced? GONE! The leather didn't have a hint of toddler-cracker-smashed-madness. It was like a car that had never seen... KIDS.

Honestly, the work they did is that I would expect of a detailing job and I can only imagine what my car would look like should I ever require those services.
Get in your car and go there now. Yes, now. You won't regret it. Your car will thank you.

If I happen to take time to do a review for a car wash, then you know that it's good. They have excellent customer service and prices, not to mention that they have my car looking fabulous!!! Honestly, the work they did is that I would expect of a detailing job and I can only imagine what my car would look like should I ever require those services.

I have gone to this carwash for years and have been relatively please with the service. I even know the shoe shiner and use him regularly. Unfortunately I just bought myself a new truck and brought it to them for the first wash. They completely scratched one of my wheels and are saying there is absolutely no way they could have done it. Not a come by and let us look at it, lets see what we can do, etc. etc. I have literally spent thousands of dollars with this company and to be blatantly told no, not going to help is extremely disappointing.

Vintage, you have lost yourself a loyal customer.

These guys did a great job. A tad pricy perhaps, but the detailing was excellent. Madame's beetle looked as good as new as a result.

Went the other week for a car wash. I got the $30 interior super clean. I understand since it's a more detailed wash, it's going to take a little longer but a hour for a wash when the place isn't even crowded is ridiculous. In the end the wash was only okay (there was still dirt spots on the outside of the car). I didn't want to try and argue with them over it as I didn't have another hour to have them rewash it.

On 2/17/16, I filed a customer claim form at Midway location after noticing a broken piece off my back seat. It was not on the floor when I arrived, and when I went to get into the car to leave, I saw it there. No one took the time to even bring it to my attention. When I spoke with the manager, he said he saw it but didn't think to say anything. "When they are busy, they ca't talk to customers." It was 11am in the morning and there were two cars.

I expected to hear from someone at corporate regarding the incident, and no one has bother to follow up. Complete disappointment when you promote 100% customer service.

My car was a mess and needed to be cleaned badly. I got right in and less than 10 minutes later it was clean. Fast and friendly people. I wont say it was the best interior clean but they did what I asked and did a better job then what I would have done.

Very good job on washing my car inside & outside. Of course they tried a soft up-sell, but respectfully accepted my decline. All employees are friendly & helpful Restrooms are super clean!
