Vinny's Italian Grill

We stopped by on a Friday for a TO GO order. Friday is "pizza night" for us ! Since we are new to the area, we are trying to give all the local pizza places a try.

I called the order in and it was ready within 25 min. We got a meat lovers for hubby. It was loaded with meat. Not my jam but he loved it. I tried their specialty "west coast" pizza. It was quite decadent with the amount of bacon on it. Actually a bit too rich for my liking with the ricotta cheese topping. But I was glad to try it.

We actually like their "cash" payment preferred. The credit card companies do charge businesses extra. We will give them a try again and you should too if you haven't already.

Food is not great and the wine selection is overpriced for what they offer. They also add a surcharge for using a credit card or a bank card.

Two years later we made a return trip and it did not disappoint. My husband had the Belly Buster Stromboli again and this time I had the lasagna. Both portions were big enough for 2-3 meals and were delicious! Any time our travels bring us back to Hillsborough this place will be on our list.

Food was delicious... I recommend their calzones.
Service was very attentive all of the staff were very attentive and took good care of the customers.
The ambiance is a relaxed one where you can enjoy your meal and have great conversation with whomever you are with.

Food is great, the atmosphere is pleasant, priced reasonably and waitstaff are nice. Just get there early if you want a seat.

Ordered a lunch for my office and was disappointed with my entree, I ordered Broccoli Cheddar soup and it was missing the "cheddar", there was nothing but a white soupy mixture with broccoli bits thrown in....gross.

I also ordered a Caesar salad with it and so glad that I had more dressing in the office or it would of been an exercise in romaine lettuce ..dry!

Last but not least, you provided a slice of bread. It was wet and soggy and no butter or garlic butter on it and nothing in the bag....

never again for me :(

The service was great, but the pasta dishes weren't my favorite. I'll gladly go back, but would want to try out the pizza and sandwich options.

this was the first time me and my bf came to this restaurant and they did not disappoint! The only thing i personally did not like was the bread they give you at first but the rest it was BOMB so cheesy and creamy and the portions are pretty big

Great food. Fast service. Consistently good experience. Calzones are wonderful. Great pizza.

Omg!!! Best Italian food ever!! My kids absolutely loved their food. We will be back for sure. My little one is super picky so this was great!!
