Vinnie's Parkview Pizzeria & Restaurant

Bad this place is getting bad.. Used to be good join..expensive food horrible. I am wondering how this place is still open..

Vinnie's has been great for as long as I can remember. The pie with the works is always without compare and I think I figured out why; they use the fried onions and peppers that you put in the sandwiches instead of just freshly cut onions and peppers and that makes all the difference.

My two favorite dinners are the eggplant rollatini and the veal scallopini marsala. The eggplant is breaded perfectly and the veal is very tender. These dishes are on par with a quality restaurant, not a pizza joint.

Quality in certain areas has gone down over the years which I can understand as costs rise. But once upon a time, the meatballs were handmade and used to fall apart easily. Today, they appear to be of the rubbery commercial variety.

My only criticism is to the owner, Pasquale, who needs to try and be a little more pleasant as well as professional around other humans be they the customer or even his own employees. I have no idea what his problem is but other than his awkwardness, Vinnie's has great food that has remained relatively consistent over the years.

guy at the desk is very rude . Ok two different occasions made me hate the place. I was served my pizza in a messy manner . The food is a 6/10 at best not worth dealing with that .

I am shocked at the amount of crazy bad reviews this place has. I do not think that they deserve them.

I came here recently because of the cash back app GetUpside gave me 15% cash back as well as other benefits by coming here. I paid for everything with my money, I just got extra cash back for coming here.

I got a few different items! I got a BBQ Chicken Pie, side of meatballs, side of eggplant rollatini, garlic knots, and garlic cheese bread.

My kid really like the meatballs and eggplant. I tried the meatballs, and they had a nice flavor!

Garlic knots were ok, they were a tad dry.. Sauce helped. It could use more oil and garlic.

BBQ Chicken pie had nice flavor! Crust was hard and meh... Even dunking the crust didn't help. Cheese and sauce were good though, just not the dough...

Staff was decently friendly, nothing crazy amazing.

Inside the place was a clean as possible for being a pizza joint. I didnt go into the Dining Room, I took it to go.

All in all a decent place. Pizza is ok, entrees are a better choice here. Even without the app, I probably would go back.

They don't have an indoor seating but it's not a bad spot. The wings are not it for sure. The pizza was really great and the slices were good sized.

The food was over priced and had NO TASTE. How do you mess up a chicken parm !? They don't do slices so thank goodness I didn't get greedy and order a pie 0/0

Ordered a few weeks ago from the Special menu - Cheeseburger sliders and a turkey wrap.
Ate the sliders (that were packaged as one on a pita, but ok. ), tasted great. No issue.
I ate the sliders at around 9:30, the revenge came at 4am. This food could not leave my body any faster. By any means. And often. I got WELL acquainted with my bathroom. The turkey wraps went into the trash, I wasn't even going to feed them to the possums or raccoons.

Called the restaurant the next day and whoever answered the phone first blamed it on something else I had eaten that day (I HADN'T) and blew me off and said "ok, I'll get them to check the meatballs".
UM, are you serious?
No offer of a refund, nothing more than "oh well, sorry".
I question the sanitation of Vinnie's. Not what it used to be. Won't be back there.

I've ordered from Vinnie's for as long as I can remember. Not the biggest fan of their pizza but they're pasta is always delicious.

My favorite dish is linguini with white clam sauce. It has a good amount of clams in the sauce and a strong garlic taste (yum). Maybe a slight bit oily but they give you a good ciabatta roll to soak up the sauce when you're done. Good portion for the price too.

The customer service is amazing and the food is good. My mom loved the stuffed shells. My grandma really liked the lasagna (it doesn't come with meat but they can make it with meat sauce). I got the chicken francese with baked ziti (it's one of the side options). The chicken was okay but the baked ziti didn't have any ricotta which I thought was a little weird? My brother seemed to enjoy the pepperoni pizza. I've had their gourmet sandwiches and prefer that vs a dinner. You live and learn!

Authentic Italian dishes. I've had both take out and dined in and everything is delicious.

The only thing I think they can improve on is training the staff on what the dishes are. One of them told us scungilli is clams when it's not. But other than that, they're very nice and helpful.
