Compared to other "fast-food" type pizza places, Vincenza is definitely a winner compared to others. A great little pizza joint with pizza made fresh every day. I've been to Vincenza's twice and my favourite so far is definitely their stuffed pizza. One thing that I like about Vincenza is that they give a side of marinara sauce for you to dip your pizza in instead of the typical garlic dip that most people opt for.
Vincenza's gives you like a fast-food sort of vibe, but don't let this turn you off from trying their pizza. There's a reason that they've been a staple of downtown Cleveland for years! They're pretty busy during meal-time, but their service is quick and always with a smile.
The slices of pizza are extremely affordable, and the portions of each slice is pretty generous for the price. Two slices of pizza is probably enough to satisfy your hunger. I would recommend going to Vincenza's earlier in the day or evening so that you have all the choices of pizza they offer. Once they sell out for the evening, they don't make more of the pizza until the next day.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 6, 2022
I came for a lunch with my fiancé while visiting town. The prices were great, the pizza was fresh and tasted pretty amazing. Really enjoyed the margarita pizza with its very garlicky flavor. The best, and I mean absolute best part was the cookie. Truly amazing!

Yes! We have found our pizza place downtown!
Easy access location, quick service (we ordered our pizza and done in 10 minutes)
You can buy pizza by the slice or order a pizza to go (or to eat there)
The place is never very busy but the pizza is always hot and delicious. Their tomato sauce is AMAZING and so flavorful! I really like how they use small ground hamburger instead of chunks and the vegetables are nice sized pieces and fresh.
The thin crust is also flavorful and not too thin where it is too crispy and you can only taste the toppings
I usually douse pizza in Parmesan cheese and red peppers to add flavor, but you don't have to do that with this pizza. Definitely will return often!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Miranda B.Westlake, OH01Jun 29, 2022
Bummer - it's permanently closed.

If you are looking for a downtown place (near the entertainment and sports districts) that serves a quick New York style pizza by the slice, subs and salads...then this is your spot!
We were headed into town for a recent Cavs game and wanted a bite close to the stadium. I had heard good things about Vincenza's and my brother--in-law was down for giving it a try. I ordered a slice and a meatball sub, so as to try two different menu items. The pepperoni pizza by the slice was New York style, but not quite as tangy / zippy as I had hoped. Still, it was a solid piece of pizza especially for the price. The meatball sub had a bright, tangy marinara sauce and tons of cheese within a crispy roll. There were plenty of meatballs ensuring that every bite had meat, cheese and sauce in it.
Certainly nothing fancy about this place, but for a very reasonably priced meal right in the heart of downtown, it is hard to beat in terms of Italian options.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Marcus S.Austin, TX977137385Mar 13, 2020
My goodness, how have I never written a review about this place?!? When I lived in Cleveland, I was a block away on Euclid and would frequent here multiple times a week. You WILL NOT find better thin crust on the planet (well, maybe in NYC).
Family owned and operated (and authentic from NYC) these people really have a passion to feed you the best pizza money can buy. Closed at night and on the weekends for family time. They could be making tons of money during games and such, but they choose quality of life and sticking to a successful formula. Gotta love people with principles. The thin crust is fought enough, but also slightly crunchy. The sauce is EXCELLENT, the value is incredible. You honestly can't go wrong here. Pasta, thick crust, salad, you name it!
Now that I don't live in CLE, I make it a habit to come here any time I'm in town. I tried for years to get them to rescue LA from pizza hell, but they never budged. Maybe one day! Until then, I'll just carb load when I get to town and will continue to tell people anywhere I'm at in the world that they have to put it on their list of must eat attractions in CLE! You heard it here firstHelpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Rachel G.Cleveland Heights, OH11308Jan 8, 2021
I'm always trying to try new places on Uber eats and found Vincenza's on Yelp with high ratings. Some people stated it was the best pizza in Cleveland. I received the order and it was packed nicely. I got a side salad that was kind of blah and the dressing was all oil so I added my own which made it better. Pizza was kind of the same deal. Just kind of bland. After adding Italian seasoning and ranch it was better. Overall not terrible but def not worth the higher price.

I am so glad I found this place. It is the only pizzeria in cleveland that reminds me of home (nj/ny). The staff is super friendly and there are tons of pizza slices to choose from. There is nothing bad here! My go to is the buffalo and the mushroom.
I just wish they had better hours. They're closed after 6 on the weekdays and closed all weekend. But it does make a great day off treat!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Tahtee F.Antioch, CA17375Apr 25, 2022
Couldn't get around to the food, walked in to horrible service from an older lady at the desk, was not friendly or welcoming at all, was greeted with a very aggressive attitude, not sure why , maybe I was too friendly, tried to push through asked for water with my food and she gave water from where they wash their hands , when asked if she would drink it from there she laughed and said "NOPE" did not trust anything after that walked out..very disappointed after reading the other reviews..

Wow!!!!! I've been working downtown since February 2020 and I didn't know about Vincenza's until yesterday.
Let me just establish right off the bat: THIS PIZZA IS INCREDIBLE!!!
The best pizza ever is New York style and this one is fabulous. Pepperoni and cheese is the way to go. So, so, so, so yummy!
Can't wait to go back.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
