Village Tavern

I went here Cinco de Mayo as it is the closest bar to my house, me and my friend are in our late 40s. After a few drinks some lunatic 20 something girl started screaming from across the bar that she didn't recognize us and we shouldn't be there. None of the other patrons seemed angry at us but said nothing to the girl that continued to harass us for over an hour. Even the bar tender saw what was going on, to her credit disagreed with the young lady but also said nothing to her. It was a really a weird scene, not sure if I was really in danger but I'm not sure I wasn't needless to say I wouldn't recommend anyone go here.

Would have left no stars if possible. If you like the rank smell of cigarettes and depression this is the place for you. This is where dreams go to die. Three words I would use to describe it are grimey, grimey aaaand GRIMEY! Back in Australia, this is the kind of place we would call an absolute fanny.

Best joint ever! Fun atmosphere, fantastic food. AND...smokers don't have to remove themselves from the fun. the way a bar like this should be!

Best bar in Leesport. Great service, great people, and great vibes. Every millennial within a 200 mile radius should come here.

I don't think they get many out-of-towners, but didn't matter because this place really treated us well. Good bar food and the drinks were well-poured.

Local patrons didn't seem to interested in meeting new folks but all were polite and kept to themselves.

Despite only one bartender, service was extraordinary. Definitely a place to check out if you are going through Leesport.

I have been visiting this establishment for years now and must say it is my favorite local watering hole! Prices are reasonable all around. Smoking is allowed inside which kills me since I am a dorky asthmatic but this never stops me. Free play on darts and there are pool tables in the back. Bands on Saturday nights. Love that I can show up in jeans, sneakers and no make up and have a fabulous night. The owner is a good guy and Erica is my favorite bartender! You should make it a point to get drunk here soon!

Great food and awesome bartenders!!! Try to get up here as often as I can. Even the regulars are great company. Big Pool area too, 3 tables great for slipping in having a few drinks and playing a round of pool. Drinks are fair as well...shots 3.25 doubles 7.50 beers 3 dollar range.
