Decent enough for a greasy spoon type of joint, as to be expected from a diner. They do a better than average job with their homefries: red bliss potatoes & slight amount of chopped onion. Cute atmosphere & fast service considering it was busy.

These guys have it perfected! Staff are genuinely eager to please. So many food choices, but they always get it right - fresh, quality ingredients. They aren't the least expensive place, but we'd rather pay a couple of dollars more for an excellent experience all around!

Sunday morning and you know you aren't going to get a table for seven off the bat, so lots of decorative flair (50's flair and Elvis) Food? standard breakfast fare, eggs, omelets, pancakes, french toast. diverseness, not that i could see. coffee was fresh and hot and cleanliness. tables turn quick, so not much of a wait, parking is a challenge as it is street parking. my dining companion has a handicap but finding a space is hard, maybe the city could look at this.

What a great breakfast spot! I took my 2 year old here for an early breakfast and it did not disappoint. The portions were great, the service was fast and friendly, and the prices are pretty reasonable. It's got an awesome 50's vibe inside (hence the name) which adds to the feel of the experience.
If you're looking for a unique breakfast spot that has good food and a good local community vibe... I definitely recommend Victor's!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Lisa B.Maynard, MA585170May 9, 2023
My husband and I came to enjoy lunch at the diner on 5-9-2023. Been here for breakfast years ago and wasn't disappointed. Today was a Tuesday around noon, and it wasn't busy. We saw the story , several months ago on chronicle about the diner, and I couldn't wait to try one of their signature burgers. We ordered frappes ( chocolate and strawberry) and I ordered the dean martin burger and my husband ordered the grilled Ruben. Service was quick, and the waitress was very nice. While we enjoyed our lunches, I can't say it was as good as I hoped. The burger didn't have much flavor , and the Ruben was dry. I would def go back for the great service and a great breakfast. We left with a full bellies and good service so win win.

This is the real jewel of Hudson. Everything on the menu is cooked to perfection but the pattie melt rizes to a level rarely experienced even in places that are dedicated burger joints. In the spirit of Louis's Lunch in New Haven it is a simply perfectly cooked to order burger on toast that highlights the virtues of a perfectly cooked burger especially when cooked medium rare. I've been there many a time and its always perfectly cooked, juicy that is highlighted by big grilled beef flavor

Friendly staff and great food. Nice clean diner with a 50's atmosphere. Constantly refilled the coffee and the food was served hot and flavorful. They modified my meal to be vegetarian with no problem. Will definitely be back!

Excellent diner! Went for brunch the day after Christmas. Impressive was the coffee made from freshly ground ground beans, the choice of delicious fresh sautéed vegetables instead of hash browns and the and the kind waitresses!
We will definitely come back!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Edward P.Brooksville, FL63Sep 12, 2023
No cheese in omelette , cost more for cheese! The definition of an omelette is egg and cheese with butter and salt and pepper , otherwise you get a folded egg not an omelette!

Best pancakes in town! Does get a little at times and wait can get long but it's worth it, it will get full so kinda loud but like I said pancakes are amazing.

We found this gem after hearing of a 45 minute wait time at another popular eatery. Our group of seven was quickly seated, but divided between a booth and a nearby table. Some took advantage of the "breakfast all day" option. Burgers are HUGE half pound angus, with many options for toppings. The skillets are huge, three-egg affairs. All portions are ample. The waitstaff was friendly and helpful. I though prices are a little high for a diner.
